When Nikkie finally woke up from her deep sleep, she opened her eyes just to see a pair of big eyes.
"Eek!" Nikkie shrieked as she fell sideways off the rock. What the heck is that? Seemingly frightened by her shriek, the creature backed away from her. Trembling with fear, Nikkie realised that the creature was actually an ant. Knowing such ants don't bite, Nikkie calmed down. Why am I so jumpy? Wait, these ants don't bite humans, but will they bite cookies? I'm a cookie now, not a human! Just as Nikkie was about to go full panic mode, the lady's voice appeared in her head again.
[Don't panic and don't worry. I won't let you get eaten by animals, but I won't stop humans from eating you.]
Oh, so now you dare to appear. After leaving me with this mess and giving me a scare, you come and tell me the animals won't eat me. I must thank you for your kindness. Nikkie thought, annoyed at that lady who out of all things had to reincarnate her as a cookie.
[Oh, you don't need to thank me. I know I'm great. Would you rather me reincarnate you as a pile of poop or a cookie? And you being a cookie is much more pleasant than watching a pile of poop you know.]
Oh shut up and just let me be human again. Please! I'm begging you, shameless lady! Nikkie thought, not being sincere in the least.
[Oh well, since I'm so benevolent, I'll gift you a pair of arms with hands for managing to escape from being eating by some little children. If you want to hide them, just think about hiding them and they will disappear like they were never there in the first place. ... Shameless woman. Would you, the benevolent lord, gift me a pair of legs too? I'll worship you as my god if you would gift me a human body as well.

Wait! Wait! Please gift me a human body first before leaving, please! Nikkie desperately begged. Unfortunately, that lady did not plan on gifting Nikkie a human body so early. Nikkie sighed. Seems like the only way to get a human body is to entertain that goddess.
The goddess that wanted Nikkie to entertain her was still calmly sipping her tea in some realm out there. I really didn't choose the wrong person to entertain me. If I chose someone who would just give up and let themselves get eaten up, there would not be any fun.
If Nikkie knew what she was thinking, she would have puked blood in anger and exasperation, if she even had blood in her current state. Gosh! I'd rather you choose someone else and not get the entertainment you want. Curse you!

Nikkie was shaking with anger. She did not just ignore me. I am not some clown that is paid to entertain you and I did not agree to this! Oh well, may as well entertain her to the best of my ability and get a human body as soon as possible. Mom, dad, I miss you. Why did this have to happen? If only I can reverse time and not be so foolish to chase a butterfly off the rooftop... I didn't even get to say goodbye! Tears ran down her face as she covered her face with her new hands. How sad would mom and dad be right now? Their only child dying due to falling off the school rooftop... Rubbing her tears away with her arms, her tears continued to fall endlessly. She gave a bitter smile. Why must the world be so cruel? Her smile completely collapsed as she broke into sobs.
[Don't cry. This goddess isn't so cruel. When I feel like you've done a good job, I promise I'll send you back to your original body right before you fell to your death on that rooftop. And I'll ensure you'll live a good life for the rest of your life and give you a good next life. So wipe those tears off your face. This goddess won't go back on my promise.]
Nikkie forced a smile. I'll do my best. At least you have a heart. Nikkie thought.
(My comment: Bribery is not okay! This is only to aid the flow of the story. And if you're wondering, yes, even as a cookie, Nikkie can cry with actual tears coming out. Don't question it.)
Standing back up, Nikkie eyes sparkled with determination. After this. I can relax however I want, but for now, I'll focus on my survival and entertaining that goddess. Fighting! Nikkie punched her fist into the air. I will not fall. I must not fall! To see my parents again, I'll do anything! And I don't want to die as well...

You hardly seem reliable at all, you know? Nikkie thought, cracking a genuine smile this time. Reliable? After letting that human hear her fall to the ground and nearly give her a heart attack, she still thinks she's reliable?

A certain goddess out there was reconsidering her plan to reincarnate others as well for her entertainment. It's so troublesome to give the people involved their rewards for entertaining me. Should I not continue doing this? Whatever, I'll decide after I finish with Nikkie.
