Sengoku looked behind him, not believing Aokiji to be the one to betray them.
"W, why?"
Aokiji put an ice sword against Sengoku's throat and brought his mouth close to Sengoku's ear.
"I found my little sister." whispered Aokiji
Sengoku looked shocked for a moment, but he seems to have accepted his death the next second.
"I see, so you and Ken must have been behind Saint Jalmack's disappearance. Cough, cough."
He started coughing up blood. If it wasn't for his Devil Fruit, he would have been dead already. No one could get close to help him since Aokiji is holding a sword against his throat.
"I know that saying sorry won't decrease your anger, but still, I'm deeply sorry, Aokiji."
"I'm not mad at you or anything. You were just following orders. And it's not like we had a relationship besides boss and subordinate."
Sengoku smiled.
"You know, Aokiji, If you were to hold off on betraying us, you would have become Fleet-Admiral. I already decided to retire after this war, and I deemed you the best guy for the job. But now you've screwed up that chance, hahahahaha!"
Everyone heard Sengoku's words, and Akainu looked pissed while the rest of the marines looked relieved that the marines didn't end up in a pirate's hands.
"I already knew."
"Huh, that's impossible! I never told anyone!"
"But you have told us that you wanted to retire soon. After I told Captain, he said that you'd probably want to retire with something big, which would be this war. And after I gave him all the information I had about the Admirals, he also deemed me the best choice for Fleet-Admiral."
Akainu looked even more pissed, and the rest of the marines just looked really confused.
"Then why did you not wait?" asked Sengoku, not believing what he just heard
"Because Captain deemed the Marines a lost cause. Not worthy of his time."
His words stabbed through all the marines, making their morale drop to rock bottom. Ken was just looking at Aokiji with a proud smile when a sword suddenly came flying towards his head. But he just slapped it away, making the person that swung the sword lose balance, and with one kick on her leg, she tripped and fell face-first on the ground.
"What do you want, Haia?"
She quickly stood up and jumped away. She looked really embarrassed about what just happened. She was about to run towards him when he smirked, which made her hesitate.
"You've made a bad move, Haia. Kuzan, kill him."
"Yes, sir."
With one quick swing of his sword, Sengoku's head rolled on the floor. Haia and the rest of the marines looked on with horror as blood spurted out of Sengoku's body like a fountain.
"That felt pretty good. We should get out of here before they surround us, Captain." said Aokiji
"Yeah, let's go, my loyal crewmate, Kuzan." said Ken with a smirk
They were about to leave when 6 massive pressures appeared. The Admirals and Garp all looked at Kuzan like he just murdered their family. Garp looked especially devastated.
"What are those looks for? The Marines and World Government betrayed me first. I'm just paying them back. Here, have a nice present. Ice Age."
In an instant, everything around Ken and Kuzan got frozen. Some marines got their entire body frozen, and some only got their legs stuck. But the Admirals and Garp weren't affected. They just stood opposite of Ken and Kuzan, ready to pounce at them at any second.
Kuzan stood in front of Ken, looking like he was ready to lay his life down for his Captain at any second.
"Why did you betray us, you bastard!?" asked Akainu
Akainu used his Devil Fruit and completely enveloped his body with magma. The magma started dripping on the floor, going straight through Kuzan's ice and the ground.
"The World Government and Marines betrayed me first. This is just a little payback. Weren't you the guy that always rants about absolute justice? Since I deemed the World Government and Marines as evil, I'll use absolute justice to fight against it. After all, the ones that decide what is real justice are the ones that win. And as far as I can see it, this is our win."
"The ones that win are the ones that decided what true justice is? I guess you're right. Then all we have to do is kill all of you so that we can decide what true justice is." said Ryokugyu
"It seems like there is no other way, but it will be hard to go all out right now." said Fujitora
"Chaton, take all the marine soldiers and leave this place immediately. The six of us will take over from here." said Garp
"Are you sure? We can't just leave like this." said Chaton
"Let me rephrase it. UNLESS ANY OF YOU WANT TO DIE, GET OUT OF HERE THIS INSTANT! WE WILL BRING JUSTICE ONTO THESE SCUMS, SO JUST TRUST US!" screamed Garp at the top of his longs
The marines seemed hesitant at first, but they quickly started helping their injured comrades to the ships, and the broadcast also got taken down. They knew that this wasn't a fight that they could participate in. After all, the enemy that they're facing is entirely different from who they were expecting. As the plaza started clearing out, none of the Azure Pirates made a move.
"Aren't you going to give your subordinates the order to kill?" asked Fujitora
"Huh? Who do you think I am? I could care less about them. Why would I want to hurt people that have already given up on fighting? But let's stop talking and start fighting." said Ken
He walked forward and took off his captain's coat and threw it towards Kuzan, who quickly caught it. Ken revealed his chiseled body with an eight-pack and no scars.
"Damn, it's so chilly. You shouldn't have turned the entire battlefield into ice Kuzan."
"I'm sorry, Captain, I think that this little strength would cover the entire battlefield with ice.'
"Haha, look at you bragging. I didn't think you were that type of guy."
As Ken and Kuzan were joking, Akainu couldn't hold his anger in any longer and went right for Ken. A fist enveloped with magma went right for his chest. But Ken just looked at him like he wasn't worth his time. He blocked Akainu's fist with his left hand and punched it with his right.
"BOOOOOOM!"
