[Next day]
"Yawn."
I woke up feeling like I was in heaven. When I opened my eyes, I saw Celine's sleeping face. My head is on her lap while she is sitting against a wall.
'Damn, I never thought that thick thighs would feel so good. But what is she doing sleeping like that? That's just horrible for your back.'
I stood up and carefully picked her up without waking her or anyone around us up.
"That's not fair. I also want to be carried to bed." said a half awake Ace
"Go and get yourself a strong girlfriend then. There are plenty of pretty ladies on this island."
"Screw that. I don't want to date a gorilla."
He immediately fell back to sleep, and I took Celine back to her room. After placing her on her bed and tucking her in, I left her room to find some breakfast. But before I could go and eat something, I sensed someone coming towards my island.
"Sigh, why did he come so early. I can barely move with this hangover."
I put the quest for finding food on hold and started walking towards the docks. As I walked through the city, all I could see were people knocked out left and right. After some minutes of walking, I arrived at the dock and saw Zoro standing opposite Mihawk. Zoro looked ready to fight.
"Smack!"
I smacked him on the back of his head and made him eat dirt.
"What was that for!?" screamed Zoro
"You're trying to fight my guest, which I don't appreciate. While you're on this island, I forbid you from fighting anyone."
He glared at me but didn't do anything.
"Mihawk, let's go. I was about to eat breakfast, so you might as well join me."
"You aren't going to poison me, are you?"
"If I want to kill you, I won't need any of that bullshit. So follow me before you end up as Kaido."
He stiffened up when I mentioned Kaido. I turned around and started walking back to the palace. He immediately followed me while we left a pissed Zoro behind.
"What did you do to Kaido?" asked Mihawk
"I just used a super-secret technique that can make anyone cry. And you're of course no exception."
He gulped as he looked at me, but he quickly went back to his usual demeanor. After a little bit, we arrived at the palace. I woke Perona up and had her make us some food. After we started eating, he started talking.
"It seems like there was no need to doubt you. You've proven that you're worth joining. But I wonder what your goals are."
"World domination."
He looked at me, not knowing I'm serious or joking.
"That's a big goal. Why would you even want to do that?"
"It's just necessary for my dream, that's all. But what is your dream or goal?"
"I want to fight strong swordsmen. I've been on the top for a long time, and the only one who I can call a rival is Shanks."
"That sounds kinda sad. I hope that I won't be out of enemies too soon."
"Well, there aren't that many who can challenge a Yonko. But swordsmen who can challenge me are even rarer.."
"Then you should wait a couple of years for Zoro. He might be dogshit right now, but he has a lot of potential. I'm confident that he could beat you if he had a good master."
"Then why don't you teach him? You could have him join you."
"Hell no. I'm even considering if I really want you now. I don't want our future battles to be boring because we're too strong. And besides, he doesn't look like the guy to leave his Captain. And there is no way that Luffy will work under anyone. But anyway, if you want to join me as a separate pirate group, I'll allow you. But don't you dare ignore my orders."
"Thank you for accepting me, even though I rejected you the first time. But don't worry, I'm not the type of guy to ignore the ones making my life peaceful. Here is my number. Contact me if you need me."
I reached out my hand, and he shook it.
"Welcome aboard."
"Thank you."
He stood up and was about to walk away.
"Where are you going? Did you really think that I'll let you walk out of here without having you do anything?"
"Did I make the wrong decision?"
"Hehehe, you sure did. I need you to go and attack Whole Cake Island."
The neutral look on his face suddenly disappeared, and shock appeared.
"Are you serious? That's suicide."
"Don't worry, I won't need you to kill anyone. You just need to be a distraction. And of course, you won't be alone. Ace, Laffitte, Robert, Urouge, and Jinbe will also be going. If you're scared with the 5 of them going with you, then you can just stay here."
"No, it's fine. A distraction I can do. But what am I a distraction for?"
"You're asking too many questions. Just do your work, and I'll give you whatever you want."
"I want my home back."
"You can just stay here."
"I don't like people."
"I knew you were that type of guy. Well, whatever, just do your job, and I'll get you that depressing place back for you."
"When will we leave?"
"In a month, so have fun running away from the people in this place. Hahaha!"
"You won't be laughing for long. Big Mom and Kaido will become your enemies. I heard that they've been in a crew together once, so they might work together to destroy you. And then there are the rookie pirates. The Worst generation this time around seems to have some interesting people. And they'll definitely be coming for your head."
"Big Mom and Kaido joining up, huh. I hope that Shank and Whitebeard join them too. Otherwise, it won't be any fun."
"I thought that you were supposed to be the smart one out of the 5."
"And I thought that you were supposed to be strong. I guess we learn something new every day."
"May I see if you are allowed to look down on me as a swordsman?"
"Nah, I don't have any interest in becoming the strongest swordsman."
"I see. I didn't think that you would be scared."
I smiled at him.
"Yeah, as I said, you learn something new every day."
He just gave me an annoyed look and turned around. He was about to open the door when it smashed into his face and sent him flying through one of the windows.
"Huh?"
Akari came in and looked behind the door.
"Weird, it felt like I hit someone."
"Must have been your imagination. Come and have a seat. It's boring to eating alone."
"Yes, Captain!"
He sat down and started eating. While we were eating and talking, the rest started slowly coming in, and it got lively quickly. Luffy and his crew also came in.
"Ken, Ace, Sabo, did you guys see my new bounty!?"

"That's awesome, Luffy." said Ace
"Yeah, you've already overtaken a lot of guys on our crew." said Sabo
"How cute. I don't even remember when I had such a low bounty. Maybe you'll get on my level in a couple million years." I said
"Million? 1, 2, 3… I can't even count that high!"
"Hahahaha!" Everyone started laughing
'Boa Hackock must be pissed that someone she saved got a higher bounty than her. Hers went from 80 million to 320 million berries.'
"I'm just kidding, Luffy."
He looked at me, hopeful that I would congratulate him.
"There is not even a spec of a chance that you could get on my level."
"KEN!" he screamed as both his arms suddenly shot backward
"LUFFY!" I screamed and immediately went back to my food, completely ignoring him
"Gomu Gomu no Bazooka!"
Luffy suddenly shot back as his hands got stuck on a piece of furniture. He smashed against the wall, and everyone started laughing again.
"You're evil, Laffitte." said Robin
"I just saw an opportunity and took it" said Laffitte
