Chapter 16: The Immortal Drink
Feng Lui and Yang Dao were talking with each other about the pendant. Yang Dao tried to learn about the pendant so he was looking for all types of diamonds in the world through his wide knowledge base. Yes, Yang Dao's special ability is to gain knowledge as much as he can.
"Ahh this pendant and the pendant on it isn't from this human world. Now I can't tell whether an angel has given her this or some demon," said Yang Dao.
"Well then I should give this to Xuan before he fell into danger," said Feng Lui and looked at the pendant.
"Go then. He is in Ming Si's house," said Yang Dao. Feng Lui nodded and disappeared from there taking the pendant with him. He reached inside Ming Si's house. He walked towards the living room and saw them with Nuwa.
"Feng Lui what are you doing here?," asked Nuwa. Ming Si and Xuan turned their heads back. Feng came towards them and sat beside Xuan.
"What happened? I told you to be there," said Xuan looking at Feng Lui.
"I know but before that your safety is also important. Mingmei has sent this," said Feng Lui showing him the pendant.
"Ahh...keep it with her. I don't need this," said Xuan. Ming Si took the pendant from Feng Lui and asked him about that. Feng Lui told them the entire incident.
"So this pendant has saved her all these years?," asked Nuwa with curiosity.
"Yes. It's obvious that the demons never even found out about her until now," said Feng Lui.
"Then Xuan you should wear it," said Nuwa and folded her arms. Xian looked at the pendant and said," I can save myself. My powers will return after I catch Wao Xu but that human girl has no one who can protect her. I won't live here forever so it's better to protect her with this pendant. Give it back to her."
"But Xuan, you're not as powerful as the other demons. You're just a normal person here. So please wear this. After your mission will be completed you can return this back to her. Feng Lui and Yang Dao are with her till then so she's safe…," said Fei Ming Si.
Nuwa too agreed with Ming Si. Xuan took the pendant from him but didn't wear it, instead he kept that pendant inside his pants pocket.
"Okay then I should leave," said Feng Lui and he disappeared from there. Xian got up from the couch and told Ming Si that he's going to sleep. Ming Si nodded and told him to go upstairs. Xuan waved at Nuwa and walked out from there.
"Fei Ming Si who's this demon bride?," asked Nuwa with a raised brow.
"Someone only who can summon Xuan," said Ming Si.
"What do you mean by this?," asked Nuwa.
"She has the power to control Xuan. Xuan can hear her among all the people in this world even if she's far away from here. She is the one who can bring Xuan's power even when those are suspended for the time being," said Ming Si and got up from the couch.
"Are you thinking what I am?," asked Nuwa.
"Yes you're right. At any cost they can't fall for each other. Xuan will never return to the demon world if he falls for her. He will be a normal human if he chooses so," said Ming Si with a worried look.
"She can be the reason for his death," said Nuwa and looked out of the large glass window.
"What?," mumbled Ming Si.
"Just think if by any chance the girl falls in danger then Xuan won't be able to stop himself whether he loves her or not. The girl can call him so there are chances that Xian can get hurt in future. It's like destiny has made them meet and everything is going according to their destiny. That old woman, we don't know who she is and she gave the pendant to the girl when she was 10. His destiny has made him come here. I want to meet that demon bride so I can put these things into her mind," said Nuwa and turned to Ming Si.
"That's not a good idea," said Ming Si.
"Do you want Xuan to be captivated in this world?," asked Nuwa.
"Then you have to help me. I'll meet the girl tomorrow evening. You have to accompany me too," said Nuwa. Ming Si nodded at her.
"Okay then I should go now. My duty has started," saying that Nuwa disappeared from there.

Xuan Hao left for Wao Xu's house early morning as his assistant Ms Lim called for him. He rang the bell of his house when the maid came out and showed him the way inside. Xuan stepped inside the gate and walked inside following the maid. He saw Ms Lim waving at him. He ran to her and greeted her.
"Xuan, sorry to call you this early morning. Ah I've to go home urgently so I'll be on leave for two days. You've good records of your past work so please work for Wao Xu for these two days," said Lim.
"Records?," asked Xuan with a questionable look.
"Ahh your experience of being a sub assistant for many actors in the past," said Lim.
"My experiences? Indeed Ming Si has done this," thought Xuan in his mind and immediately said yes for the work. "Finally I will get close to him. I won't spare him for making my life like this," thought Xuan in his mind and smiled. Lim told Xuan about the work and other related stuff. After that she left for her house saying she will be here after two days and if he needs anything then he can call her. Xuan nodded and told her not to worry.
"He's in the gym right now. It's the best time to search for the immortal drink," mumbled Xuan and walked inside Wao Xu's room. He first checked his wardrobe but didn't find anything there; then the cupboards there but couldn't find the drink. He searched his entire room but failed to find the bottle. He heard the footsteps of Wao Xu so he quickly hid inside a cupboard which was empty.
Wao Xu went inside his wardrobe, took clothes from there and then went to the washroom. Xuan came out of the cupboard and quietly walked out of his room. He got seated on a couch in the living room, thinking about the drink. He searched there too but didn't find anything. He was looking inside the cabinets there when Wao Xu came there.
"What are you looking for?," asked Wao Xu while drying his hair from the towel. Xuan immediately closed the cupboard and turned to him. "Ahh sir, Ms Lim has told me that notepad is in the living room but I wasn't able to find it," lied Xuan and looked into Wao Xu's eyes.
"You don't have to call me sir. I'm Wao Xu. The notepad is over there on that table," said Wao and put the towel on the couch. He sat on the couch and turned on the tv. Xuan picked up the notepad and was noticing his actions.
"Xuan, today the cooking maid won't come and Lim told me that there's no schedule for today. So you've to prepare the meals for us," said Wao Xu and smiled.
"Seriously you want to die with my hands. You're ordering me? You're ordering the great Invincible young master? If I hadn't had to do this mission then I would've killed you by now for ordering me like this….for making me your servant," thought Xuan in his mind.
"Yes of course….please wait for sometime. I'll cook something delicious for you," said Xuan, putting emphasis on the delicious word.
"But what do you want to eat?," asked Xuan.
"Ahh, just an omelette," replied Wao Xu, fixing his gaze on the tv. Xuan nodded and walked away from there towards the kitchen.
"Thanks to my good grasping skills, I'm able to cook. I only once watched Mingmei cooking this. I wish I could put lots of spices in this so that from the next time he would think thousands of times before ordering me to cook. But isn't it great that he couldn't even recognise me? Poor soul….when he will know that he was ordering the young master he will beg before me for his life...," murmured Xuan and laughed. The omelette got burned when he was thinking all these things and started coughing because of the smoke from that.
Wao Xu came there hearing Xuan's coughing sounds. He quickly switched off the gas and put the pan in the washbasin. "You don't know how to cook?," asked Wao Xu with curiosity.
"Ahh I know but…,"
Wao Xu cut his words and started laughing. "Just say the truth. It's fine. I'll order something for us. Come to the living room," said Wao Xu before leaving the kitchen. Xuan was surprised to see this side of Wao Xu because he had imagined a completely different man. He walked out of the kitchen and walked to the living room.
