Chapter 2: Training

We got out of the cab and walk up the hill to an Greek looking arch with a foreign language I've only read about in books it was Greek, the words started to blend together and somehow it switched to English, I was amazed I look at Justin and say is that a holo screen or something?, he laughs and says no it's Ancient Greek Casey your dyslexic right , I nod it's because your brain is hard wired for Greek not English.i was astonished at what I was seeing, we walked through the arch and into the unknown. We emerged from a weird substance that was connected to the arch, as I look around I notice the cabins the volleyball court and basketball court. Wow you guys have everything here, my friend smiles at me, you don't know the half of it we have a training field and a climbing wall that spews actual lava. ???? What kind of place is this" it's a safe place for you halfblood's" he said, so as in halfbloods you mean half god half human like demigods right? My friend nods and said" yes and you are a halfblood casey, at this point I wasn't paying attentionto him because I was looking out in the field where there were a bunch of kids in Greek armor with swords fighting, but one person stood out to me, it was a girl with pitch black hair and blue eyes she was holding a xiphos sword a Greek double edged sword, who is she I asked Justin, he looks at me and traces my gaze over to the girl then he looks panicked, bro hell no she's bad news she will eat you alive, I smirked and said"hmmm I think I'll go talk to her, I walk to the girl with Justin yelling at me from behind, I finally get to the girl, she has her back to me so I tap her shoulder she whirls around and swings her sword at me, my cat like reflexes save me and I'm able to doge the sword but she whirls back around after I doge and has the blade pressed up on my neck. I hold my hands up showing I'm unarmed, I smile and say , easy there tiger I'm unarmed, she just huffed and looked me up and down . She said, your very tall very easy to take down but you seem to have good reflexes I'll give you that. That's not the only thing I'm good at, I smile and she punches my arm hard which doesn't do anything to me because of my build I'm a 6,3 bulky guy what can I say. She said, what are you doing here, I said well apparently I'm something they call a half-blood, she got mad, no what are you doing on the training ground with no protection, I sighed I don't need protection my fists are my protection she said, do you want to test that she raised her sword over her head and brought it down on my head but before it touched my head I caught the blade with my hands and snapped the blade and put the pice I broke off at her neck ready to make the kill. She held up her hands to show me she gave up, that's what I thought , she looked at me and said , h-how ok you mean that trick I just did I picked it up a few years back in the street fights I've had , I straightened up and bowed to her and walked away.
