Chapter 4: Chapter 4

As they all waved their goodbyes, Andy and Sienna started their walk home. "So, how was your first day?" Andy was trying to make some conversation so that their walk wasn't awkward.

"I think it went fine, History is probably my second favorite class. With English in first."

"Oh? And why is English your favorite class? Is it because of someone?" Andy smiled as Sienna started to laugh. Pretty soon they were both laughing to tears. It was kinda worrying to the people around. The walk was nice, except for one thing. Both of them were lost.

"Do you know where we are?" Sienna looked around as if she were just coming out of a daze. "No, Do you?" Andy had a sarcastic tone to his voice as he spoke. They both looked around, but saw nothing familiar.

"Do you have some battery on your phone?" Sienna put her hand out, but Andy just shook his head with a sad look, that meant 'no'. Sienna sighed and pulled out her own phone to see that it had little battery as well. She sighed again and started typing, sending a text to Leo.

'Hey, Me and Andy got lost. Do you think you could find us and pick us up?' She put her phone down only to get a response right away. 'Hold on, I'm gonna track your phone. Stay right where you are, if you're on a road, move to the side. I'm gonna find you guys.'

Sienna breathed a sigh of relief. She put her phone away, and sat down. "Might as well get some homework done. We don't want to start off the year on a bad foot."

Sienna does her homework as Andy does his. About 15 to 20 minutes later, a nice looking car drives up and stops close to them. "Do you guys need a ride?" Leo smiles from the car.

"Please, I can take you to my place. And my mom can make some good dinner for all of us." Sienna put away her homework, grabbed her bag, and got in the car. Andy follows right after her.

"I can't, but maybe I can bring you back to my place to eat and stay the night. It's getting dark, and you can call your mom and say you are staying at a friends house." Leo waited as Sienna and Andy got in the car.

The ride back to Leo's place was quiet. But not an uncomfortable quiet, it was more of a nice, peaceful quiet. Like the kind of quiet when you go into a library, sit down, and enjoy a book by yourself. It was the kind of quiet teachers expect when they are talking to the front of a class full of obnoxious kids.

They only made one stop to drop off Andy at his own place with his baby brother and single mom. Both Sienna and Leo said hi, and when Andy went inside, they left in Leo's car. As they drove to Leo's home, Sienna spoke up.

"Hey, are we actually going to your place? Or were you joking?"

Leo only laughs a little at her question, it was a small laugh, but made Sienna lightly blush all the same. "We are going back to my place, I wasn't joking" He looked over at her when they got to a red light.

The city bustle was almost drowned out, and something was about to happen until both of them were snapped out of their trance by someone behind them honking their horn and yelling at them saying the light was now green, even though it just turned green.

They both turn away, their faces almost as red as a tomato. Something was there, something more than a friendship. The rest of the ride was quiet, but this time it was more of an uncomfortable quiet. With too many unanswered questions.
