"Finally!" Minerva exclaimed once she laid her eyes on Lucky and Daniel. 

"You guys are okay?" Ram questioned, eyeing the both of them up and down. 

"Yes we are." Replied Daniel as Lucky looked at Ambrose. She was laying on the grass under the tree and was half unconscious. 

"We'll have to take her home as soon as possible." Lucky stated as he took her in his arms and carried her in bridal style. Ambrose wrapped her arms around his neck and laid her head on his chest for support. 

"Lucky?" She called out almost in a whisper. 

"It's me. You'll be okay, we're taking you home now." He replied, looking down at her. 

"D- did you kill him?" Ambrose asked. 

"He should be the least of your worries now." Lucky told her as he turned his attention back to Minerva. 

That was not what she had expected to hear but it was better than nothing.
