Chapter 24: D-Day

Here comes the time when I regret my wish that I said yesterday.

Oh God, why am I so stupid?

Why am I like this?

Why can't I activate my power?

Why?

I'm so nervous right now.

I kept biting my thumbnails as I paced around the room. I can't stop moving around because I feel useless!

I only had a little preparation with Demitri yesterday, which is boxing. I don't even know if it will work or not. If my opponent had a strong power or magic like superstrength or power manipulation technique, I would definitely die.

The only exercise that will help me in the tournament is definitely running. It will be needed because I will for sure escape the arena if I must. I don't even know if I can win or not.

So far, running is the best option.

But still, I'm so nervous.
