Chapter 2: Deal

Azrael stared at Abaddon for a bit. Trying to process what he said, they never broke eye contact.

"What do you mean by 'See the sunshines', you bastard?"

Smirking, Abaddon stepped back from Azrael, no longer looking like he was trying his best to push through the wall of rock. A burst of flames and a piece of parchment had taken form as Abaddon swooped it out of the air with a grab.

"I talked to the darkest soul himself and... If we do all the petty task, mainly you, of collecting souls of the damned, we can all go to earth. If not, you can say goodbye to going."

Azrael looked at him in disbelief. Was he really serious? Looking up at Abaddon's expression, a very sly smile was plastered on his face. However, his eyes showed no jokes or tricks. He was absolutely serious. 'Damn it... Urgh! I don't know why but I'm getting a bad feeling about going but I want to and fuck! This is so hard! Err... you know what, fuck it. Imma get some answers.' He looked at Abaddon.

"How do I know that you know this won't sell my soul or that your not tricking me?" And will you and are you telling me the truth about all of this?.."

Abaddon stared at him, looking amused as he laughed, while the contract was consumed by the fire that made it appear the first time. He was still sincere about this but his mood had lightened up.

"Aye! Someone was formed as such a worry-wart. Come'on, do you really think I would betray you?"

Azrael gave him a look that said 'yeah, you would, you snake-like asshole.' Abaddon gave him a smirk and laughed a bit.

"Well, this is Hell, damn it. Oi, do you really think that someone here would be a prissy and perfect like an angel or anything else that lived where you do. Well... did. You got kicked out of there... So that means that you shouldn't expect so much good and fairness from me. Cause you had to sin just like me so you can shut your stupid ass trap of yours. Now! Let get onto this contract, you little shit!"

By now, Abaddon was grinning like a phychopath while Azrael was trying to keep from shaking violently from his dominance and fierce words.

"Okay, show me the damn thing..."

Azrael tried acting like Abaddon, showing "no" fear, however, it failed.

"Aww... your scared. That's nice. Anyways, once again, this contract will allow us to stay on earth under hidden identities. We'll collect sinner's souls, in which you are in charge of doing so, while we cause calamities for fun. And thats our payment for being able to stay amongst earth dwellers. Now for the contract, I won't let you have it until you agree to sign it."

Azrael huffed and glared at him. The guardian of the death abyss had his usual sly yet happy looking smile. If a new demon has caught site of him, they would most likely think he was a dumbfounded one. However, Abaddon was no demon to be messed with. One wrong step, you would be ended. It was like being in an open area while hes a sniper waiting to kill you. In his mind, this was world of perfection at its finest. And anyone who failed to follow this wouldn't be seeing the next millisecond. Anyways, back to the topic, Azrael held his hand out, seemingly as if it would beacon the parchment of semi-freedom in his hand. Abaddon, once again, let it form as he stared at him.

"You aren't getting this until I hear the word yes from you, along with a sincere explanation~.."

Abaddon teased Azrael while he glared at the taller demon before closing his eyes.

"Fine, you son of a bitch. Yes, I will accept this offer and print my signature on it. I agree to follow all the request and requirements needed of me so that I may spend time on earth. Collecting souls and reaking havoc in exchange for a life in the place of the living."

Once he opened them back up, Abaddon was snickering.

"What the literal fuck was that?! You sounded like a pesent being offered mercy and a job to protect a prince after trying to kill them and immediately feeling guilty!"

Azrael huffed while trying to think of a witty comeback.

"Oh yeah! Well... your... like... a... A butler who acts all proper and serves the person they consider above them with blind obedience!"

By now, Abaddon was choking to keep laughter in.

"Is that really your idea of a sentence that makes me feel bad about myself?! Because if so, you failed, miserably! It seems like you were complementing me about being perfect and follow the one I am supposed to without any second thought."

Azreal scowled at him harder than ever before going over to a rock and cutting his finger, in which a unidentified liquid seeped through his cut pad. Walking back, he took the contract and shoved his finger on it. It rolled up itself before Abaddon grabbed it.

"Good choice..."

He had a menacing and uneasy smile before he turned and tried walking off. However, Amon stretched across his rock, waking up, as he noticed the parchment.

"Hey, whats that! You two better not be trying to sell this place! I don't know how you could do it but still! This is my area and only mine! I'm just nice enough to share it with you both!"

He crossed his arms and turned to Azrael, who wasn't expected that after Amon just opened his eyes from a nap. Abaddon sighed as he looked at Amon, straight at the back of the head.

"No, we are not bartering this area. Also, it isn't yours, you possessive idiot. I made claims of it against other demons and let you two stay here. Now..."

Abaddon stopped and picked Amon up, dropping him in Azrael's arms.

"Keep track of the little shit while I deliver this deal."

He created a fire wall all around Azrael and Amon, who was cuddled against him, trying to stay away from the fire. They were both the 2 out of 4 flammable types of demons so this had effect on them. As Abaddon walked off, Azrael stood there, wishing to have somewhere to move, sit, or lay down at. Amon was thinking about how he wanted to be excluded from this embarrassing pose he jumped into.
