Chapter 3: Breakfast time? Or another scheme?
Li Yun and Gu Furan made their way to the dining room and as expected Qi Chenxi was seated beside Gu Jingze . If Li Yun was her past self she would have immediately thrown a tantrum and would have definitely asked Qi Chenxi to get up from her seat in a rather rude manner because Gu Jingze was ger husband , what right did Qi Chenxi have to seat beside her husband?
But Li Yun was no longer her past naive self; she was fully aware of her place in Gu Jingze 's heart . But Gu Jingze wasn't alone now, she too doesn't care about Him anymore .
Thus, Li Yun sat beside her mother in law instead sitting beside Gu Jingze . This act of her's surprised every one , previously Li Yun had clinged to Gu Jingze before they got married but now she wasn't even looking at him much less wish her husband?
Li Yun however didn't care about anyome else and only wished her mother in law , Miao Jing and Grandpa Gu . Other than the two elders , Li Yun didn't even looked at any other Gu family member .
Afterall , she was clear of the hatred the other two younger brothers of Gu Jingze held for her . In their eyes Qi Chenxi was the rightful wife of Gu Jingze and as for Qi Chenxi she wasn't even a family member, if Li Yun wasn't giving any face to her brother in laws , why would she show any face to Qi Chenxi?
Miao Jing looked at her daughter in law but she didn't find any faults with her, the young lady had tried to gain her brother in laws affection but all she recieved were some scathing retorts and taunts . Thus, in Miao Jing's eyes , Li Yun 's action were appropriate. If Li Yun greeted , Gu Jing Ye or Gu Jing He , and recieved an ugly response then everything will turn awkard . As for Gu Jingze , Miao Jing had nothing to say for her elder son . He had high IQ but had low EQ , thus , he was simply being fooled by Qi Chenxi . Miao Jing was a woman in her late fifty's , she has of course seen a lot of woman like Qi Chenxi and she knew Qi Chenxi 's intentions .
Therefore,she never agreed to Qi Chenxi and Gu Jingze 's marriage but this son of her's was sure stubborn , even after getting married he wasn't leaving any face for his new wife .
Now that he wasn't giving Li Yun any face , who was Miao Jing to ask that Li Yun greet her husband? Gu Jingze asked for this !
Gu Jingze 's left eye twitched; which happened when he was extremely angry but he couldn't say anything after all he was having breakfast with his past lover right in front of his new wife , compared to him , Li Yun 's action of not greeting anyone except his grandpa and mom wasn't over the top .
Gu Jingye and Gu JingHe were shocked , Li Yun 's sudden change was too overwhelming for them .
Even Qi Chenxi was shocked , not only Li Yun wasn't wearing one of those classic dresses that she bought for her but she wasn't showing any face to anyone!
Gu Furan however felt that this action of Li Yun was extremely right and she openly patted Li Yun 's hand which in turn made the faces of four people black .
"Let's eat " Grandpa Gu felt that the atmosphere was turning bad thus he hurriedly called for the maids to serve breakfast .
But instead of Chinese dishes , the maids returned with an Italian pasta dish , called Carbonara and Grilled Caesar salad .
Li Yun 's expression turned cold even Gu Furan threw a contemptuous glare at Qi Chenxi . Miao Jing and Grandpa Gu smile stiffened and they looked at Qi Chenxi with questioning eyes .
"I , I asked the kitchen to prepare something that Gu Jingze liked , after all Gu Jingze had studied in Italy for so long and he loves eating pasta for breakfast. I just wanted , Miss Li to know of Gu Jingze 's preferences " When Qi Chenxi saw that everyone except the Gu brothers were looking at her , she hurried to explain herself .
Li Yun sneered when she heard Qi Chenxi 's words only Gu Jingze would treat this woman so nicely .In such a round About way she claimed her relationship with Gu Jingze in front of Li Yun and told her that even if Li Yun married Gu Jingze , the person who knew him best was her .
Miao Jing and Grandpa Gu forced a smile while Gu Furan snorted .
" Thank you , Miss Qi " Li Yun thanked Qi Chenxi with simple words unlike Qi Chenxi she no longer treated Gu Jingze as her precious treasure , if Qi Chenxi wants she can have Gu Jingze for herself . To Li Yun apart from earning loads of money nothing else mattered . Hence, she wasn't going to waste any words with Qi Chenxi .
She picked her fork and swirled a small bite size amount of pasta and ate it with elegant movements. Every one at the table was stunned , Qi Chenxi was so furious that her knuckles turned white while holding the fork .
She had deliberately chosen such a difficult dish, she knew that Li Yun was a bastard and had no proper etiquette teaching , then why was that bastard eating with such smooth moves?
Surprise flashed in Gu Jingze 's eyes as he looked at his new wife , truthfully he didn't hate his wife because she was a mistress child but he was the leader of Gu household , a matriach of Gu household could never be a foolish and mannerless woman .When Li Yun ate in proper manner , Gu Jingze was pleasantly surprised and had a small smile on his face , looks like this new liitle wife of his had manu tricks up her sleeves .
Gu Jingze 's smile caught Qi Chenxi 's attention and the latter started to hate Li Yun even more .
Qi Chenxi was sure funny , not only did she schemed against Li Yun but she also expected Li Yun to fall in her scheme . If the latter didn't fall in her trap , then she was considered hateful?
In half an hour Every one finished their break fast and Li Yun grabbed her back pack . In her past life she has given up her education because she considered herself as the Gu household future matriarch , not to mention Qi Chenxi worked together with Gu Jingze setting Li Yun 's teeths on edge but this time Li Yun will certainly not do something so stupid .
This second life ; she was going to earn a name for herself
