Chapter 39: Dangerous situation

The devil humans had put up their camp not far away from the goblin village but, William didn't see it the first time when he entered the village. But now on his way back he had walked a slightly different route and he had noticed it. He was blinded by hatred and immediately rushed in without thinking about it.

The devil humans screeched in alarm and rushed towards William they wanted to kill this crazy person that dared to challenge thousands of them at once. They all took out weapons and made bets about who would kill him first, but then something unexpected happened. The crazy person had killed 5 of them in an instant, as if it were nothing.

That struck fear in all of them. They were very confident in themselves, but they couldn't even defend themselves against this crazy person. Sadly, it doesn't matter if he was strong, the numbers were against his favor, they would be able to tire him out eventually. He would eventually die and it would be their win. It was already humiliating enough that they lost their leader to the goblins. They couldn't also lose against a single person

But the Crazy person was ruthless they rushed inside the masses without caring about his own safety and killed one devil human after another. The devil humans wanted to kill him but his defense was to ridiculous they couldn't even scratch his skin. They couldn't do anything while the crazy person simply rushed madly through them and killed with each punch.

But the devil humans didn't give up, losing like this was an absolute insult to them. They just couldn't bear the thought of losing, and they went berserk. They just had to kill this intruder, but no matter what they did, nothing worked.

But at that moment a devil human had an idea. He took out the weapon of his now dead leader and started to use it against William and it really worked the weapon was extremely sharp that it could easily cut Williams skin. The devil humans were cheering, the crazy person was wounded. They finally had found a way to defeat him.

They immediately started giving cover to the guy with the special sword, and it worked the crazy person was backed into a corner. One wound after another appeared on the crazy persons' body, but the crazy person still didn't take its own safety into regard. William was just too mad, he got even more angry with each new cut that was appearing on his skin. He was bleeding everywhere but he just couldn't be bothered to protect himself, he had to kill.

Meanwhile in a cave

Yuki was staring at the snake and the snake nodded towards Yuki and the started to slither away. Only a monster would kill the person that freed it, so the snake would never do something like this. It had its own pride and killing the person that saved it after it was sealed for thousands of years was simply something that it wouldn't do.

Yuki couldn't help but to look after the giant snake, she wasn't sure if she did something good or if she just created a calamity, but she knew that the snake wouldn't be sealed in it if was a nice snake.

She couldn't believe her luck, running away from the devil humans had resulted in her releasing a giant snake. Was her luck really that bad? Or did some evil entity decide to destroy her luck forever? But it didn't matter she couldn't change the situation now, she clearly felt that this snake was way beyond everything she could handle.

Even William wouldn't be able to defend himself against it. What kind of terrifying being had she just released? This snake was clearly the strongest being of this world and now it was let loose and it was all her fault. Who knows how many races would suffer from this. Yuki knew that she had done something terrible, but she knew that it was also up to her to fix it. She had to find the way to defeat the snake.
