Chapter 50: Unfair fight
The crab mom kept striking at the scorpion, but the scorpion simply blocked every attack. But even if the scorpion didn't block, the attacks of the crab mom wouldn't be able to do much damage to it. The defense of the scorpion race was simply too formidable, it would take hours if the crab mom wanted to break it.
That was time that the crab mom didn't have, but she was thankful that the scorpion was only toying with her. If the scorpion would try to kill her as fast as possible, she probably wouldn't even be able to hold out a minute.
She kept attacking the scorpion, but the scorpion easily blocked all attacks. In the eyes of the scorpion, it was like a small toddler was attacking it. The crab mom was simply too weak, it was hilarious to think that she thought that she could hurt him.
The scorpion was aware of all the small crabs running away but he didn't care. The giant crab mom's body was far more nutritious, he would rather eat that than all the small crabs.
The scorpion got a bit bored of just defending so he slashed out with one of his claws. The crab mom didn't even have a chance to defend, the attack was simply way too fast. Without even being able to defend herself her leg got cut through by that claw.
„it hurts!" thought the crab mom. But she had to power through, she had to fight for her children. And it was too late to run away anyway, the scorpion would never let her get away.
The crab mom cursed her bad luck at this moment, not only did she meet that crazy demonic human that brought her into this situation she also now had to defend her children from a scorpion.
And it was an adult scorpion!! Scorpions were already terrifying as children because they had already their terrifying poison. But as adults they were even more ridiculous, equipped with a terrifying poison, terrifying speed, terrifying strength and abnormally strong defense.
Normally every being would have its own strong point. There was no one who was good at everything. But those scorpions were an exception, from attack to defense to even stealth. They were master of all an absolutely terrifying race.
The scorpion got more and more bored of the fight; this crab was simply to weak! How was he supposed to get entertained like that? He decided to finish that crab of, at least he had a little bit of fun.
But he regretted a little bit that he didn't kill the crab mom immediately. Had he known that she was so pathetically weak he would have just killed her in front of her children and enjoyed to see the terrified expressions of the crab children.
Bear pov
The bear was slowly dragging Sennua away. Luckily, she managed to get away unnoticed or even if she was noticed the scorpion simply didn't care.
She dragged Sennua to a nearby cave, there Sennua would be able to rest and hopefully wake up soon. The bear didn't know why but she felt really close to Sennua. Every cell of her body was telling her that she had to help this little goblin.
What she didn't know was that this was caused by the system that Sennua received. It was slowly changing her body and giving her an aura that naturally attracted beasts.
This aura would basically make every beast think that Sennua was their friend. But Sennua didn't notice all those changes she was still unconscious.
