Chapter 2: Chapter 1
I woke up with a sound of glass breaking, that is most probably my phone. I climb down my upper bunk, trying really hard not to wake my roommate in the lower bunk. I am now confirmed that my phone is broken, as I look at the shattered glass. I try not to hurt my finger and i swipe on the broken glass to call back my mom.I give up as i cut my finger on the glass. A broken xiaomi phone can be dangerous. I pull out my old Nokia from the drawer and transfer the simcard to it. "Why are you up so early?" Samantha asks me in a monotone. Catherine was still fast asleep in the top bunk opposite to us, she takes the top bunk though the bottom bunk has been empty since forever. "Phone broke, go back to sleep Sam." I reply to Samantha who has already fallen asleep . I didnt want to go back to sleep, so i went for a walk.
I meet Alex as I walk towards the campus Starbucks. "Princess Leah taking a walk?" He asks with a tired-of-running-voice. I laugh but couldnt think of a proper reply. Thanks to my older sister, i grew up to believe whatever I say is rubbish. I walk away as I call Jordan with a request to change screen of my broken phone. I laugh as i think about this advantage of being friends with a tech guy. The thing about college is that we simply barge in the rooms of people of the opposite sex. But as I barge in I dont meet Jordan, I meet his famous-for-being creepy roommate Gary. "Do you need any help?" asks Gary. I didnt want to be rude." Its okay, i'll ask if i need anything" and he smiled creepily (as expected). I meet Jordan as I go out. "Did u reply to anything Gary said?" Asks Jordan. "Yeah why ?" I laugh back. "Welcome to being super close friends with Gary the weirdo." Laughs back Jordan. "Anyways i got your text about your broken phone. Where is it?"
I smile on my way back as the kinda cute guy Connor happened to flirt with me. If he didnt have a bad breath, i'd say i have a crush on him. But having him as a seatmate in Psycology class is enough for me i guess. Oh no i have Psycology class in an hour.
