Chapter 3: Entrance exam.

[2 Months later.]

The day of the exam had arrived. I said my final goodbyes to Shuichi and that little brat Yoko.

I was grateful for the last few months and everything they did form. I actually grew an inch from all the training.

I put on my velvet blindfold and tied my shoelaces.

Mom was standing behind me waiting for me to leave. I stood up and opened the door but before I stepped out, a hand grabbed my shirt.

"Hiro, please try your hardest." She knew her son's nature so she was thinking that he would try and get an average score. 3rd place was what he strived for in every test.

"Sure," I said in my voice that was described as dull to almost everyone that heard it.

I walked through the door and closed the door behind.

-------------------------------

I had one more stop before I had to get off the train. The train itself was quite empty. In the entire carriage, it was me and a few other people.

A certain purple-haired person caught my eye. He was the brainwashing kid from Junior high. He was probably going to U.A for the exam. His quirk was something that could more than likely pass the exam unless the practical exam was stupid.

"Mustafu station." The female voice said as the train came to a halt.

I got off the train and began my 5-minute walk to the school. I could only thank god that the school was close to the station.

After walking for 5 minutes I found myself in front of the gate. U.A was massive. The building was shaped like an H which I thought was weird.

Students from all over the place gathered into the school. I walked all the way to the auditorium and sat in the seat I was given.

Slowly but surely the room began to fill up and the person who sat next to me was the brain-washing kid.

From his information card , I saw that his name was Hitoshi Shinso.

He placed all his stuff on the floor beside and sat down. He noticed me staring at his information card and flipped it upside down. He saw my uniform and noticed that it was the same as his.

"You went to Nabu too?" His voice was just as boring as mine.

"Yeah, I was in the class across you."

"Oh, you know who I am? Probably for my quirk right?" He said as he sat down.

"Yes." The answer was brief. There was no need to lie.

"Are you going to call me a villain?" He asked. I could tell there was a hint of anger in his voice.

I actually laughed at that. "Do you say that to everyone you meet?"

He finally sat down on his chair. It was his turn to look at my information card. "Toshiaki Yasuhiro. It's a surprise I didn't see you once."

"I'm far too plain to be noticed."

Before Shinso could say something the lights around the room flashed on and a hero stepped on the stage.

He had an incredibly embarrassing introduction which wasn't needed at all. He began to discuss the rules of the exam.

1 pointers, 2 pointers 3 pointers blah blah blah. It was a simple as that. I turned my head over to Shinso who looked like he was going to cry.

I understood it. His quirk had no way of beating robots it was a purely physical test which was incredibly stupid.

I had nothing to say to him.

"May I ask a question." A guy across the auditorium shouted as he stood up.

The pro-hero accepted his question.

"On the printout, there are 4 types of villains, if this is a misprint then U.A, the most prominent school in Japan should ashamed of their foolish mistake."

Oh. He was one of those kinds of people.

The examiner explained to him that there was a 4th villain which had no value in points. It was an obstacle. Beating it would do nothing for you.

The examiner said his final words and sent us to our battle centres.

--------------------------------------------

[A/N: Just gonna cut straight to the halfway point of the robots fight.]

-No one's POV-

Yasuhiro had around 55 points. By combining his heightened senses and teleportation beating these things was simple.

They all had 1 weakness on the back of their necks where the machinery wasn't as strong as the rest of the body.

He felt a 2 pointer try and attack him from behind but he managed to teleport on top of it and punched it in the neck. The robot exploded when his fist made contact with it.

He had enough points. He wanted to take it easy for now.

He helped people who couldn't beat the villains around the way but all in all, he was.

While he was walking around the ground began to shake.

He looked to the centre of the city where a massive villain was roaming around. The zero pointer.

He teleported to the where it was. There was no way he was going to beat this thing.

The machine lifted its arm and threw it down at all the people in the area. He looked at all the people within reach of him. He grabbed them and teleported to the front of the battle centre where they came.

'Too bad they'll all have to get out of there by themselves.' He thought. He wasn't going to go back and take anyone else. His personal safety came above everyone else's.

"Thank you for getting me out of there, I don't think I'd have been able to get out of there at all on my own." A girl with ginger hair said.

Yasuhiro simply nodded his head.

"I'm Itsuka kendo. A pleasure to meet you."

Yasuhiro didn't want to know her name. "I'm Yasuhiro."

The claxon bell rang, signifying the end of the exam.

"Please gather to the centre of the city for any medical treatment if you need it. If not please leave from the gate and wait for a teacher."

Yasuhiro walked towards the gate and waited until everyone had finished receiving treatment.

-----------------------------

"A teleportation quirk? That's quite rare." A lewdly dressed hero said.

"Indeed. His mastery over his quirk is something to behold too. Though I do wonder why he wears those blindfolds." A hero who looked like a brick said.

"It's a drawback from his quirk. It's listed as Extrasensory teleportation. His sense of sight has been boosted to extreme degrees and he has teleportation which work together as a pair. I expect great things from him." The mouse principal commented.

------------------------

1 week later.

"Yasuhiro! Your letter from U.A has come." My mother said as she barged into the living room.

She threw the letter to me which I caught easily. I opened the later and inside was a small spherical object.

I placed it on the table and a hologram appeared in front of my face.

"I am here as a Hologram." Shouted the voice of the number 1 hero. All Might. The symbol of peace.

"Young Toshiaki you passed your written exams with the best scores out of the entire group of candidates this year. Your intelligence is something which is shown on and off the field. You expertly managed to find the weakness of the robots and used that to achieve 55 villain points which is a great accomplishment." The scores of the entire top 10 appeared on the screen.

My name sat in second place with 76 points. Only one point behind 1st place. "As you can see you managed to get 21 rescue points which was a hidden portion of the test. You rescued that group of students from the faux villain which is an action every hero should do. I commend you for your actions." The hologram stopped and I took out the later which followed.

I was in Class 1-A.

2nd place was 1 place too high but it felt good. I put the letter down and I saw tears streaming down my mothers face.

"Mom there's no need to cry."

She grabbed me and pulled me into a hug.

"Well done Hiro. You've made your father proud."
