3rd Person POV
A full out battle ensued between Ryōshi's men and the armed to the tooth slaved that were holed up inside their only line of defense.
Although surprised at first, Ryōshi wasn't stupid, after losing more than half his ninja he ordered the remaining troops to the eastern entrance which had way less casualty reports. He also couldn't kill the slaves so that made things all that hard for him.
After the non ninjas stormed the gates with too many men who were also scattered enough to reduce the number of deaths, some headed for the gates while others easily jumped the unguarded fence. From then the slaves also had to deal with attacks from outside and within their base.
Safe to say a few of them died but they killed way more of Ryōshi's men. Now he only had 30 men while they only managed to kill three people and slightly injured a few and some were knocked out.
The man to be given credit for this was of course their pseudo leader, Akira. He made sure to use the weapons and manpower available as efficiently as possible, he had studied these so called guns and managed to grasp their strengths and weaknesses so now it was just a matter of having someone at a range where their gun worked best. Specifically those who held shotguns, only a few were stationed at the gates and only shot when the attackers got too close or when the others were reloding.
The rest of the shotgun weilders were stationed in different places where the intruders might attack, since the compound had slightly think wooden walls it meant Akira didn't have to worry about friendly fire since shotguns don't have high penetration power.
Sadly the defending group only held an advantage for 20 or so minutes, Ryōshi was relentless and refused to retreat and that paid off, although he lost a handful of men they managed to secure an entrance and only needed 5 ninja to raze the place before the tides turned.
Since they weren't allowed to kill the slaves, they had to use toxins that paralyzed them, after taking down the resistance on the eastern gates they advance inside to take down anyone the came across who wasn't part of their group. In just five minutes anyone who was stationed at the gates was taken down.
After entering it only became harder for Ryōshi and his men, they had to try and somehow enter a small house where any of the uncaptured slaves were holed up.
The house had small square openings on all sides and was packed full of ammo to last them a whole day. Although Akira was a great strategist, he was also a coward who didn't want to die and therefore he had kept the people with the more powerful weaponry around him, as his 'advisors'.
Sadly all that was needed was a simple flame jutsu and the house was covered in too much smoke, the people hiding inside all came out and when they did, they were met with a livid group of mercenaries and ninja.
At the 30 minute mark when Ryōshi was doing a headcount of his men and the recaptured slaves along with looking for the drugs, he unfortunately didn't find what he was sent here for. Serpent didn't care for a few slaves or a few hundred kilograms of drugs, what he was so adamant on finding was a certain kunouichi.
She wasn't a normal ninja by any means, she had a unique bloodline from her clan that caused her to go berserk whenever she used it, hence why she was pumped so full of drugs that she couldn't even think.
Although most people didn't know, Serpent was by no means satisfied with what he currently had. He suffered from greed more than anyone else, that's why he had ran away from Kiri and decided to found a village in Sora, he had hoped that he'd be able to creat a powerful elite force by forcing the girl to give birth to as many children as her body could allow.
From then, all he'd have to do is learn how to control his weapons of mass destruction and taking over Sora and all the nearby regions as silently as possible would've become a breeze. He would plunder any bloodline he came across and bribe any politician who was useful.
His plan was almost complete when the stupid noble who ruled over Sora declared war on the five hidden villages, just because he had some tailed beast rip off he thought he could win a war against nations with actual tailed beasts.
Although his plans would be delayed by a bit, Serpent also knew that taking over a land with practically no military force to speak of would be easier.

Ryōshi was sweating buckets as he shouted, kicked and slapped his men telling them to find an individual they had no idea about until now.
He knew if they came back empty handed their heads would roll on the floor since serpent made it very clear how important this 'person' was.
As they were searching a new presence made itself known, it was a young man with otherworldly features, snow blonde hair and red glowing eyes, although his features would cause women to swoon and throw themselves at him, the air around him made such a thing impossible, he had an intense aura filled with killing intent much more potent and scarier than what Ryōshi had shown his men.
This caused then to freeze and back away from the duo in pure fear, anyone who managed to escape the crippling fear and tried to attack the duo would suddenly fall to the ground;cleanly split in two by a woman walking right beside the man.
He wore a black waistcoat, a white shirt with neatly folded sleeves and a black formal trouser. He carelessly walked towards the still seething Ryōshi, but instead of attacking like some of his men, Ryōshi just calmed himself down.
The woman walking besides him had grey short hair which had black tips, she wore a strange metallic armor and her one hand held a sword that dripped with blood. She wore a strange attire consisting of tight trousers that had a metallic sheen, a black short sleeved shirt which was also seemed to reflect the light of the flames and metal arm guards.
She had a certain bloodthirsty air about her as she wearily looked out for anything that could attack. The duo proceeded on until they stood ten meters in front of Ryōshi.
"You're either quite the brave hero or a stupid deadman for attacking one of serpent's men. Either way, you'll have to die." Ryōshi said with killing intent dripping from his voice.
"Hahah...."A soft laughter that didn't fit in with the bloody atmosphere resounded.
"Weak dog certainly do like to bark, don't they Ichigo?" The man said softly to the woman who hummed in agreement.
"Did you just call me a dog? I'll rip both You're arms off and make you watch as my men ra-"
"Kneel." Ryōshi was suddenly cut short by the man, much to his shock his body stopped listening to him and just fell to the ground in submission.
"I was originally planning to let you off easy since you're a great asset to have, but I don't like rebellious dogs, I guess training is in order. Let this be a lesson to all of you." Nero's cheery tone was slowly replaced by a cold and detached voice which was bearlg human as he spoke to everyone who was nearby, he especially looked at the slaves.
That night screams of pain filled the whole place as Nero broke Ryōshi's body and spirit, with a thought he could cause Ryōshi to feel an unimaginable pain a d wish for death.
As for why he could do this, since Nero had cybermind, he could feel the presence of his nanites as long as he was in the certain range of them. As it would seem, Ryōshi and his men had drank from one of the wells contaminated with his nanites. So Nero just needed to alter their functions and bit and voila, he could turn a hardened warrior like Ryōshi into a docile dog that barked at his command.
