Chapter 26: Studying together
Hearing his sister's scream, Demian stopped in front of the door while looking down.
"Oh my gosh! If Qiara saw me, she would definitely make fun of me". Said Demian while returning to his room to change his pants.
Not long after that. Demian came out to meet Qiara who was standing in front of his porch.
"Hey, have you been long?". Hearing Demian's voice, Qiara immediately turned her head. Instantly she was stunned to see Demian's face which looked radiant with wet hair.
"Qiara, why are you silent? Are you fascinated by me?". Qiano asked as he tapped Qiara's shoulder who was still stunned to see him.
"You are too confident. Oh yeah, I'm here to ask about our agreement to study together. So or not?". Qiara replied with an evil laugh.
"Are you still willing to study with me?". Asked Demian. "Of course I want to, I came here because your cellphone is not active. Now, let's go to the library to study!". Qiara replied excitedly.
"Now?". Demian asked with a surprised expression.
"Yes now, The semester is just around the corner". Qiara replied with a frown.
"Okay then. I'll take the bag and motorbike keys first!". Qiano said.
"No need to use a motorbike, we just use my bicycle, and the city library is not too far from here". Said Qiara.
"Just put your bicycle here. We'll just use the motorbike so it's fast". After saying that, Demian rushed into his house. Qiara only let out a light sigh at Demian's words which she thought had a point too.
"Let's go!". Demian said as he walked out of the house and walked towards his motorcycle.
Qiara followed Demian obediently.
Not long after, they left Demian's house.
Today, Demian gave a girl with mixed feelings for the first time. Likewise Qiara, who was always comfortable with every Demian, looked calm and did not irritate her.
They enjoy being on the motorbike together with the cool air under the sky of the romantic city while harboring feelings for each other.
The Universe seems to understand the feelings that are in my heart. But, is it possible that Qiara and I can be like this every day? I really wanted to say that I felt homesick even when she was this close to me. I also want to say that I'm happy whenever I'm around her. If she's hurt because of that then that's where I feel sad in loving her. Just by making it I feel happy. Demian's mind suddenly became romantic.
"Watch out ...". Qiara shouted when she saw a fast motorbike from the opposite direction.
Qiara unconsciously grabbed Demian's waist tightly because she thought the bike would hit them. Immediately Demian slowed down his motorbike because he was also shocked to see the rider.
"Geez, almost". Demian thought while heaving a sigh of relief.
"Qiara, are you okay?". Asked Dekian, glancing behind him.
"I'm fine, I'm just a little shocked. Next time you have to be more careful and don't daydream!". Qiara replied in a slightly trembling voice.
"Yes".
After that, Demian returned to focus on looking ahead.
Just then, Demian's heart skipped a beat when he noticed Qiara's hand wrapped around Demian's waist.
Why is my heart beating so much when I feel Qiara's embrace from behind? I get nervous. How about Demian while catching his breath.
Unlike Qiara, she actually remembered Julian's face when she felt in danger.
What's wrong with me, why is it that old man I remember, because he's my husband? Looks like I'm not feeling well. How about Qiara with annoyance and disgust.
~ Library ~
Not long after, the two of them arrived at the library.
"Qiara, we've arrived". Demian said while looking back. However, Qiara didn't give him a response, she fell silent.
"Qiara?".
"Yes?". Qiara replied while looking at Demia with a confused expression.
"We've arrived, don't you come down?". Asked Demian.
"Sorry I didn't focus earlier!".
Qiara immediately descended when she realized that they had arrived.
"I'll park my bike, you wait at the door!".
"Yes".
After that, Demian immediately parked his motorbike in the library's parking lot.
Not long after that, Demian ran after Qiara so they could walk together.
They looked very excited when they entered the library. Because it was late in the afternoon, Demian invited Qiara to sit by the glass window which was quite wide and tall.
City A's air began to feel cold in the late afternoon, a romantic atmosphere was felt when the wind caressed their cheeks. The colorful flowers look beautiful through the glass. Because next to the library there is a flower garden that is deliberately made so that library visitors feel at home in it.
"Where do you want to start?". Demian asked after he sat beside Qiara while carrying two textbooks that had just been taken from one of the bookshelves in the library.
"How about math first?". Qiara replied because she felt that the lesson was the most difficult.
"OK!". Said Demian while nodding.
"But, you don't bring a math book, how can you teach me?". Qiara asked when she saw that Demian didn't have a book with him.
