Chapter 2: Unexpected
Jake ran to his home. He was really excited.
He banged the door open and went direct to his room.
Jake's mother was quite angry die to his actions, so she went up to his room to see why was he in such a hurry...
Jake's mother opened the door and yelled,"JAKE! WHERE ARE YOUR MANNERS???"
But, then what she saw...she was shocked. In a surprised tone, she said, "Jake...what are you doing??"
She went closer to him and found out, Jake was studying. His mother then said, "First come and have lunch, then do all of this..."
Jake, with a bright smile on his face said, "Mom, I'm not hungry now, let me finish my work, then I will come and eat my lunch. Dont worry at all."
Jake's mother was quite surprised as he never goes directly to studying after coming home..
Jake's mother went downstairs to do her work, yet she was quite surprised by all this sudden change in him.
Jake, who then, slid out the piece of paper out from his pocket, and started to observe the characters written on it.
Jake felt uneasy while observing it as he thought that he could read every single word correct...but..he thought it is his imagination.
He folded the paper into half and then put it in between in one of his book which was open and went to the dining room.
Jake then washed his hands and sat to have lunch. Meanwhile his mother was washing dishes..
While he was eating...his mother asked, "Haven't you got the test result of Science??"
Jake's food got stuck in between his throat and he drank a lot of water to make that piece of food go down...
He, after getting relieved said, "Mom...um...I got the result but..."
His mother, who was already looking like a volcano, with her furious red burning eyes saw Jake and said, "I'm gonna kill you if you got less marks Jake!!"
Jake then gulped hard and said, "Mom.. I will work hard next time please please leave me. I will study day and night. pleasee mom."
His mom, then took out her phone and called someone...Jake was scared as she might call his father...but it was not his father...but someone else...
After eating, Jake went to his room, and locked his room from inside...and went to study.
He took out his mathematics assignment and started to solve the problems.
After a minute or so, his mind already was thinking something else...he was in his own dream world.
Jake then realised that he has to complete his work, so he again started to do it..
But then...Jake heard someone coming from the front door...
He was curious, so he slightly opened the door, and slowly went downstairs and peeped through the wall to see who it was...
He was it was....
