Chapter 2: Prolouge II
Two years later and Aadya is now 3 years old, sitting at her pink baby crate in the dawn as she plays with her hands. Eyes wide in fascination as she plays blue fire within her fingers, the pixies that guarded her, sat on the crate as they watch Aadya fiddles with the blue flame on her fingertips as if dancing and jumping on her tips as she giggles occasionally.
Then she compressor the dancing flames and made a cute ball of blue flame with eyes and mouth that more likely looks like a fur ball* A creature of its body where covered in fur but shaped like a waterdrop, and can be kept as pets because they are cute and well behave* with its eyes and mouth empty but still cute in a way. The fire jump to the toddler's shoulder then to head as it releases a ticklish spark making Aadya laugh in delight.
The pixie's eyes were wide in shock and amazement as they watch Aadya play with her magic while one of the pixies, a male pixie, wake up from amazement and shock as he hurriedly went to his master's bedroom to wake them up. Struggling to push the door open creating a small gap that was enough for him to enter as he hurriedly went to his master's side and uncover the blanket.
The nameless pixie open all the lights with a snap as he shakes the masters, making Oswald's eyes bulge wide and alert while Liana sat up before she open's her eyes as a yawn
escapes her.
"What happens, Grean?" She asks, still sleepily as she looks at Grean with eyes that saying she's about to sleep again. Grean shook her awake as Oswald glares at the poor pixie. The pixie starts to motion something, imitating Aadya's silent casting, as blue flame also dances on his fingertips, just like Aadya. As he also motions them to follow him. The couple looks at each other as the realization hits them making them run hurriedly at Aadya's room, just across their room as they heard Aadya giggling and laughing occasionally from the other side.
They open the door and saw the pixies watching Aadya with amazement as their baby girl plays with fire with her magic. Liana gasp in awe while Oswald opens the lights with a snap and pick up her daughter who continues to play with the blue flame.
"Dada, Mamwi look!" she says excitedly as she makes the blue flame of fur ball jump repeatedly on her head as it sparkles with delight making the baby giggle again while the parents look at their daughter with pure amazement and pride and their eyes. But most of all, their eyes held confusion as they look at each other to seek answers but they just both shrug as they look back at their giggling daughter.
"What is happening here?" Liana asks the pixies as they all shrug in unison. The female pixie flew forward —she wore a bright blue dress with her wings sparkling as it releases glitters while she flew– and explain to them what is happening.
"We were guarding the windows and the door earlier but we felt someone casting magic so we hurriedly went inside...surprisingly the young lady was already awake and casting magic..."The female leader says as she bows in respect while she reported what happened. The couple looks at their daughter with wide eyes in amazement and some puzzled look as Liana raises her lush and perfectly trim eyebrow at her daughter.
Aadya looks at them with wide confused eyes as she tilts her head to the side. Her lavender eyes with strikes of dark purple sparkles innocently. Oswald took Aadya from Liana's arm and fix her hair as their baby observes them, her blue flame was long gone because she senses the atmosphere was a bit tense, which is very smart of her. After all, she can already read the atmosphere at her young age.
Aadya grips her father's lushes red hair as she yawns cutely, taking the attention of her parents who helplessly smile down at her as if they now know what is the answer to the phenomenon.
"Thank you, Fae. You and the others can take a rest or maybe find something to do. My daughter will sleep with us from now on" Oswald says with those expressionless face matching with a monotone voice that he always has whenever he talks to anyone besides his wife and daughter. The pixies nodded in understanding and exited the room.
The couple walks out of the room as they turn off the lights as they walk towards their room, sliding the door open as they meet the unorganized sheets and a dim room with only the bright moon was the source of light.
Oswald put Aadya in the middle after Liana sort her baby's pillow and stuff toys, as they both lay down to the bed. Aadya let out a sleepy yawn making the couple chuckle at her cuteness as Liana rub her finger on Aadya's cheek, making the baby feel asleep peacefully.
"Do you think... that our daughter is a gifted?" Oswald asks in a hushed tone as he observes his daughter sleeping.
"I don't know..." Liana replied with the same hush tone as she leans down to kiss her daughter's nose making Aadya shift a little and scrunch her nose up as she wipes her nose with her small hands.
"Honestly?" Oswald asks
"Honestly, there's a possibility...but we would know... We'll only know when she reaches her eight years of age because, at that age, her magic will be stable...well mostly, I guess we have to wait" She says as a sigh escapes her lips.
"But what if she is? What are we going to do... if the royals knew about this..."
"We'll protect her then... that's not so hard, we are very influential people, and you are like the VIP of this country..."
"We both know the last part is not true...well maybe somewhat, but what the royals want, they will always get it..." Oswald says with a tone that never comes out of him, his voice was full of anxiety for his daughter's future as his eyes held pain just imagining the possibilities of what could happen to Aadya.
Liana flicks her husband's forehead as she looks at him disapprovingly.
"You worry too much... I know we could settle things with time so let's not worry about something that is not happening yet, in fact, we are still far from that... so let's just sleep for now and talk to those pixies to keep it a secret for us..." She says as she looks at her husband with a small smile making the cold heart of Oswald melt like snow that was touch by the warm sun.
He sighs and nodded at her in understanding as they both close their eyes and surround Aadya with warm love making the baby smile in her sleep as the three were now sleeping peacefully with each other's warmth.

youmeanme81 SORRY, THIS IS SHORT AND A VERY LATE UPDATE!! there's this super typhoon called Rollie(??)that hits our country, Man that storm was so huge and strong that we have a blackout for days. Also, We are still in the evacuation center and I manage to charge my phone because a kind woman let me use her power bank...
