Chapter 4: Mysterious Being
Kurt arrived at the first floor of the dungeon. The first floor is almost looks like an abandoned mining site. Kurt wonder why the dungeon made it like that. He met a multiple tunnel entry. Then he takes the left tunnel, walk slowly while following the mining tunnel. Kurt tighten his grip, ready for anything.
*"Grawr!"*
"(It is not what I prepared for. What is that?)"
A roar echoing all around the tunnel. Suddenly, Kurt hears a 'dum' footsteps from a far.
"(I'm not going into that thing.)" Kurt runs back to the entrance.
*dum* *dum*
"(I still heard it. What about taking right now?)" Then Kurt going to the right tunnel entry.
After the tunnel ends, Kurt find himself in a somekind of a catacombs. Stone graves all around there. He walks approaching one of the graves. Many symbols carved in it, he can't read it. After he's right in the middle, the ground suddenly shaking. The graves cracked, emitting dark blue rays. Kurt keeps an eye of his surrounding. After a brief time, a skeleton rises from the graves.
"(I guess I have to fight it.)"
Kurt dashing to one of the skeletons, uses his dagger to tear it apart. He keeps swinging his dagger to clear a path to the other side of the catacombs.
*crack* *dugh* *crash*
Most of the skeletons has been destroyed by Kurt. Kurt made a distances to maintain his breath. The remaining skeletons regrouping, then construct a large scale exoskeleton. Wielding a giant bone as its weapon.
"(Oh, really?)" Kurt make a quick stretch, then dashing to the exoskeleton legs.
*dum*
The exoskeleton slams his bone to the ground where Kurt stopped. Dust covering its view. After a moment, Kurt already gives a hit on the exoskeleton shoulder. The exoskeleton roaring, arisen a new batch of skeletons.
"Hahh.. Hah, hahh.." Kurt already exhausted.
He tries to walk away from the skeletons and it's leader exoskeleton. The skeletons didn't let him goes easily. They runs toward Kurt. At the moment exoskeleton's bone right in front of Kurt, a horned giant creature burst his way in from the side walls. Crashing his own body to the skeletons horde including exoskeletons.
*bruagh dugh brugh!*
The wind made up by the horned giant knocked Kurt away until his back crashed something. Kurt bleeds his head, after he can't hold it, he's unconscious.
*duar* *crash!* *whoosh*
Time passed. A gust of wind wakes up Kurt. He looks up, seeing his surroundings. It's still the catacombs. Not too far from his position, the horned giant crushing the exoskeleton and its minions. He's touch his forehead, he still felt the bleeding in it. The bloods flows through his body to the ground. He looks at his back, a giant door with many symbols carved in it. His vision getting blurred. Then he leaned his back, readies for his fate as the horned giant walks toward him.
Unnoticed by Kurt, his bloods fills a carving below him. The door start to glowing behind him. The glows getting brighter, suddenly the door opens, making Kurt falls into it. Kurt's view becomes dark.

Two person stands side to side. One's embracing the view in front of her, while the other one sits on the throne-like chair. Drinking his wine.
"Are you sure?" He pours another wine to his glass.
"Heheum.. I'm quite sure about him. Tell your keeper to keep an eye on him."
The woman turn her head, grinning. A grinning that makes the man in front of her reminds of her origin.

It's.. Dark.
Why am I in here? What is this place?
What's going on with the horned giant? Is it dead? Or am I dead? I'll try to close my eyes again.

Kurt opens his eyes. Darkness greets him. He still in that dark place, floating around.
*"Do you want a power?"*
"H-hah?!"
Kurt's heart almost jumped out of his chest. A male voice echoing all over the place. Kurt grabbed onto his waist, his dagger is gone.
*"I shall ask once again, Human. Do you want a power?"*
"I-I don't understand. What is this place?"
*"Give me your answer, Human."*
"But first, what are you?"
*"Answer! Human. You are not the one to ask."*
"F-fine. Give me power, then." "(For my little brother, I'll do anything.)" Kurt continues his word in his mind.
*"Shall the world regain its peace. I will be waiting your good news, Marcelliss's Heir."*
After it said, a light comes to breaks the darkness. Soon, the light will be blinding to Kurt's eyes.
"W-wait-.."
*whoos*

"Hurry up, Manato!"
"Take it easy, Ryu. Why are we always hurried when we through the first floor anyway?"
"We're su-supposedly safe our stamina, isn't it?"
Ryu already far at front, yelling at her party behind her. Manato who is safeguarding the rear always keep his temper because of it. The other girl who wield a staff is in the middle.
"Oh come on, Asami. We're not even at the middle of the dungeon." Ryu yelling to the other girl, named Asami.
"Okay, Asami. Now we need to catch Ryu's pace. I don't want her to run into troubles again later."
"Y-yeah." Asami and Manato fasten their pace.
After they met the multiple tunnel entry, they decides to take the middle this time. When they want to walk in, they heard a big crushing noises from the right tunnel entry. Ryu's becomes curious, she stopped walking.
"You guys hear that? It sounds like Minotaur or something big running around over there." Ryu's eyes started to shines.
"Stop, Ryu. We don't know why its here in the first floor. First floor should be a safe place from a dangerous creature like that. What is happening?"
"I think w-we should head back outside and te-tells the guild."
"Asami is right. Don't do anything stupid, Ryu."
"I'm not stupid! I'm just excited. If we can't go to the fourth floor again, I'd rather clearing this floor from that creatures."
"Hahh.. I knew you'll be this stubborn. Asami, I need you to go to the guild. Bring some reinforcement, okay. You can do this, right?" Manato quickly massages his forehead then hold Asami.
"I c-can do this, right. I can do this! Co-come back alive, guys." Asami running back to the dungeon exit.
"You're ready, Manato?! Let's go!" Ryu already take the lead.
"H-hold up. Ryu!" Manato hurries to catch Ryu.

"U-ugh.. Shit. My body's h-hurt a lot."
Kurt opens his eyes. He felt broken inside when he started to standing. When he struggles to stands, he noticed something, he's in the middle of an empty altar with torch all around it as it light source. Then he started to walked to the rear, gripping the stone walls to hold his weight. After some time, his body getting better. Now he's able to stands on his feet. Not wondering about his regeneration, he started to investigate the surroundings. Kurt realized the altar has a passage at each directions.
