Chapter 9: Reunited
"What's happening in here..?"
I heard Calum mumbling. He's right. What is happening? Is it Ryu and that mysterious guy doing? Seeing Ryu's temper, are they even together in this? When we through that small passage, I thought we're gonna find you or at least a significant traces. I can see Asami getting extremely worried about you, Ryu. Where are you..?
"Does anybody can cast clairvoyance here?" Calum started a topic.
"Only Ryu are better on it, me and Asami can't do it properly. I'll try scout the walls. Asami, try to get some rest in here." I gives Asami a quick look then I go to the nearest wall that's on my right.
"Ok, let me check the left side." Seichi told after me.
"Then I'll try my spell. [Pathfinder]."
I can see Calum try to focusing on his spell. Pathfinder, huh? I only heard it once and now I can witness it. A few seconds after, I felt a presence that looked over me and it quickly left. Was it Calum's spell doing?
When I was going to head over, I found a crack pattern on the wall. It's like a some kind of door but made from solid stones. I was going to tell them but Calum's heads up interrupted.
"I felt two presences right over there."
He's pointing at me..? No, it is beyond me or maybe beyond the wall behind me.
"I found something here. It's like a door or an entry here." I shouted to them.
"And now we need to find the opening." Seichi sighed.
"No need."
I readying my sword to make an opening. I hope it was Ryu that Calum felt earlier. Before I was going to swung my sword, I heard a rumbles from the stones in front of me. It's opened.
"I-I press something.." I can hear Asami's small voice.
"Nice work, Asami." Seichi smiles to her.
In front of me, a stairs that led upward formed. I was going to going in but someone's hand holds my shoulder.
"Let me." Calum spoke.
"Fine."

"W-who are you..?"
Ryu startled, their eyes meets each other. While Kurt's head on her lap, her hand reflexes to grab her bow. Before she draw her arrow, her friends popped up from the entry.
"M-masato, Asami!"
"I glad you were okay."
"Ryu.."
Masato fixes his glasses, sighed while Asami already gave Ryu a hug.
"Finally, we're going back soon." Seichi stretches his body.
"Before that, how are you able to kill a minotaur..?"
Calum's question made all of themーexcept Ryuーturns their head to him. He's now rolling a minotaur head with his staff.
"Wow."
Seichi looked speechless. Masato and Asami were turning their heads with 'seriously?' look to Ryu.
"Please check him first. I will explain everything onward." Ryu puts Kurt's head to the ground.
"I-I'll try." Asami leaned towards Kurt.
"L-looks like his internal organs are fine. But h-his backbones is severely broken, his ribs also slightly broken." Asami stated. Her hands are glowing with a faint green light.
*tap tap tap*
"Hey, Calum." A familiar voice came to Ryu's ear.
"Ah, Leader. Why it took so long? And why are you all wet?" Seichi waved his hand.
"Yeah, that small passage was the only way. We need to dive in the lake to find another route. Luckily, we found a not-so large tunnel that led to the other side of this cavern." Miyura explained when he stops.
"While we were under the water, there's big stomping though right at the end of the water tunnel. So we wait to make more distance to it." Yagi added. Ryu gasped when she heard it.
"Now we knew that it was a minotaur though."
"S-so you were there, Miyura..?"
"R-ryu, I thought nobody are going to fight it without prepared." Miyura slowly walks to Ryu.
"I'm not alone." Ryu gesturing to Miyura to look besides her.
"Who is he?"
"He's a brave man who saved me."
Miyura walk towards Kurt. He startled, Kurt's face was never seen by him around Orlean.

God, I started to hate him. I don't blame him though. Nobody wants to fight a minotaur without prepared, but my situation are different. It was a trap!
"Guys, do you believe me if I said me and Kurt were trapped in here?"
"What?/Hah?/Really?" It was their responses for me.
"Kurt said it earlier, when we entered this passage from that stairs." I pointed the stairs used as an entrance before.
"How does he knew exactly?" Miyura sits next to Kurt, looking at me.
"I dunno. Now do we need to stay here any longer?"
Looking at Kurt, I wonder when he'll awake? Asami looked like already exhausted. I need him to explain everything. Please, wake up.

"U-ugh.." ?! Where am I? I fight with a Minotaur isn't it? Am I teleporting..? Or is this a dream?
I woke up in a vast green hill. There's a lot of grass when you look everywhere. I never met a place like this in my whole life. Wow, hahaha..
But I need to get out of this place. I must find my little brother. Maybe I'll try walk around here.
Time passed. I felt already walking for hours yet I'm not tired at all. I already passed many green hill and plateu. What is happening exactly..?
When my mind running tired, I found something stands in a hill in front of me. I realized it wasn't there earlier. Then I walk to it. The closer I got, more vivid it became in my eyes.
It's a sword.
And a man's body besides it.
Suddenly, the view getting eaten by darkness. Before I makes a move, I fell to it.
"Guah..!" I grasped. Soon, I felt someone's hand at my shoulder.
I'm in that cavern. I'm back. Eh, why are there so many people in here? Ryu and her party but another 4 men with them. Who are they?
"So, you finally awake." It's from the blonde hair. He looked like someone from Pavelis's memories. I think it was from something called anime..? I'll call him blondy, just in case.
"Uh, thanks?"
"They're backup from guild if you wondering." Masato? He's got himself an understanding.
"I'm Miyura. Mind if I have to ask an explanation, Kurt?" So the blondy is Miyura, got it.
"Sure. Looks like we got a plenty of time in here." I adjusting my position. I realized the girl that in Ryu's party are leaned to me on my left.
"S-sorry." She said it not looking at me. "Yeah, me too."
"You got several broken bones. She's try her best to heal you earlier." So she can heal wounds. Ah, when you said it, Ryu, I can feel my back started to pain a little.
"Ugh, thanks ..."
"Asami." She muttered. "Thank you for you care, Asami." She answer my gratitude with just a little nod. Wew, she's a very shy person is she.
"We're ready, Kurt."
Ugh, God help me. I hate speech..
