"Where am I..?"
My voice.. My voice doesn't came out. I woke up in complete darkness. What is this place? I looked around, no light at all. Like it doesn't exist in this place.
「Compiling information, zero percent」
A voice?! Who are you? What are you suppose to mean? What information?
「Compiling information, a hundred percent. Do not afraid, Human」
How am I not afraid? I'm in complete darkness yet a mysterious voice came out from nowhere.
「You can now speak freely, Human. Which view do you prefer, nature or artificial?」
I try to make some sounds from my mouth. What sheーI try to figure it out by the voiceーsaid are true. "Okay.. I'm Kurt by the way. Also, nature please."
「Preferences confirmed」
Then the darkness quickly fades out. Showing that I floats above a vast forest. I catch many mountains, waterfalls, and lakes on my view. "So, you're not Deus aren't you? Who is it now? Can you explain something to me?"
「I am Vi. I cannot say the one who made me. I can answer your questions if it is not out of my knowledge or my prohibition」
"What? Why..? And also, I'm gonna think that you're female, is it okay to you?"
「Because it was my prohibition. I can feel my maker is watching over me. I does not have a gender. Think of me that suit you the most」
"Damn, okay fine. Now please give me some answers. Was it you the one who mixed my memories? Could you explain anything what Deus said? How am I receivedーwhat is it called, uhーAvalon Blessing? Did your maker who gave me?"
「First, I detected another power when you received your other memories. But I cannot identify it. Second, my maker does not give me a permission to answer it. Third, I do not know and it is not my maker who gave you that blessing. Does my answer satisfying, Kurt?」
"Yeay yeah, that's help a lot." I suppose it was her maker situation that made her can't tell me anything about Deus. I only knew that he was Hades messenger. But there's more questions that came out of my mind. Like if Deus came to me and gave me Vi, what's his relationship with her maker? And who's transferred Pavelis's memories to mine also the one that gave me Avalon Blessing?
「That is it for now. My maker told me that I cannot tell you anything else at this moment. You will be guided by me in your journey but I cannot gives you any answer if my maker does not allow me」
"Ah, wait up. Vi!"
My hand moved unconsciously, I tried to reach an empty air. Suddenly, the view fading out. I'm back to where I was earlier. A complete darkness.

"Ugh.. Damn, Vi. Especially her maker, cursed you." He muttered.
Kurt opened his eyes. He quickly looked around him. He realized he's on his own room.
'Ah, right. I'm tired too because I carrying Lady Hephaestus back to her house. I can't helped but to remembered what Lady Hephaestus told me. The Abyss, the old war, Arthur and also his weapon. Carnwennan.. Wait, in Pavelis's memories, instead of Carnwennan, it was Caliburn or Excalibur. Urgh, maybe it was different world that cause the difference.' Kurt sits on the edge of his bed.
'I need to rethink what just happened to me at the dungeonーor should I say, Abyss. Right there, I was dragged to a place that looked like for a big ritual. Symbols at every passage entry. I chose the scythe-symbol, but I forgot the symbols other than mine. After that, Deus came up. He said that I became one of something that he called One of The Chosen. He said that Freyja, Hades and Sieffre already made a path for me. They also going to opened something, a gate, I remembered.'
Kurt stared the ceiling. 'I don't know who are they but according to Pavelis's memories, they were Gods from Nordic and Greece Mythology. About Sieffre, he was once a cleric in a land named British. So many foreign language from Pavelis's world that I don't understand.' He stopped staring the ceiling, then sighed.
'So, we're gonna have a sparring, eh..? It's a good chance for me to learn another technique asides from grandpa.'
Kurt gets up from his bed and preparing his equipment. After took a shower, he changes his clothes to navy shirt and grey cargo with a boots in his legs. Then he positioned Carnwennan to the back of his hip. Now he stands before the window.
"As always, I'm coming breakfast."

Cursed you, Ryu. Why am I has to go shopping, god damnit? I thought today was Asami's turn. Hah~ Calm down, Masato.. Shopping was not that bad. I can gather any information from the crowd.
"Excuse me, sir." He turned around. It was Kurt, lucky me.
"Eh, Masato. Where are you going?" He giggles. I can see he's holding his laugh. Damn, my shopping bag exposed.
"We're going to cook at the inn. Do you want to join us?" Wait, what am I saying?
"Absolutely. Thanks, Masato."
"Wait, it was Ryu. She told me if I met you, I had to invite you to join."
"Yeah, I know. Come on, lead me the way."
He pushed my back towards where I came from. Ryu's right. He's an asshole. I led him to our inn in the end. It's not too far from this street. A minutes passed, he still doesn't talk a single word.
"So, can you tell me how is it to be in a familia?" I startled a little. So that's what in his mind.
"Yeah, you know.. A family. Lady Hestia was like our mother. Me and Asami were saved by her when our orphanage burned down. Majority of her familia are an orphan." I tell him my condition. It was a bad time. I tried to forget that tragedy but it always comes up in my dreams. "A-ah, I'm sorry." I giggled.
"Don't be. It happened in the past. Past was past, no matter what we do it doesn't changed. The thing that we gotta do is to changes ourselves, become a better person." Instead of complimenting, he said "Whoa.. You talked a lot." Wait, he's right.
"Hahaha. I don't know why but I felt you are an orphan too."
"Yeah, you're right. I was in my granpa's care after my parents died." So it was like that. "Everybody got their own past. Don't be sorry about it, be better."
"You really are a talkative." God damnit. I bumped his shoulder with my elbow.
"Hahaha.."

I don't think that Masato are that kind of person. I thought he was a serious person when I saw him in the guild lounge. We kept talking about each other along the way. Now I knew that he's B-rank and a level 2. He's also told me that Ryu was also B-rank and a level 2 but Asami was an A-rank level 2 adventurer.
Soon after, we arrived. I surprised when I arrived at the front of it. It was Green Leaf Inn. Wait, what..? How did I miss them when I'm inside?
"Kurt, why are you standing still? Come on."
"Y-yeah. I slept in here too, but I never seen you guys around here." I just realized I was stopped walking.
"Guess fate brought us to meet at the dungeon. Haha." We're laughing occasionally.
We went inside the inn. I followed him from behind. So they were in the second floor. I was just at the corner of first floor. Maybe that's made us doesn't met. I thought Masato was going to went inside that door when he spoke "Let's go, Ryu."
It was Ryu's room. Oh yeah, because Masato was a guy that needs different rooms. Several second passed, no answer. Masato opened it and found nobody. Before Masato responded, I said "Maybe they already in the kitchen. Come on."
