Chapter 1: The calm before the storm
The universe is a wonderful and awe-inspiring place, which has fascinated many people especially scientists for a very long time and will continue until a correct answer emerges from all these existing hypotheses, going from the Big Bang to a multiverse ...
But is the BigBang the beginning of the universe? or the story is much more complicated than it already seems?
On a spaceship platform in the technologically advanced Empire of High-Human.
"Sergeant Ace on the report!" A tall, imposing man wearing a blue military uniform with a white star encrusted in a brassiere over his right shoulder spoke huskily to a young man at attention.
"Fleet Command, spies indicate that the Elgs are moving into action and preparing to attack," Ace told the commander with a hint of respect in his eyes.
Ace is rather tall at five feet tall, long spiky white hair, deep blue eyes for a relatively muscular body via the serums injected into him.
Serums are specially designed to increase the capabilities of a human. All the High-Humans have received at least one serum otherwise they are just normal humans.
"Alright, tell the lieutenant to prepare the battle fleet, we are going to war against those forest monkeys." After finishing that sentence, the commander disappeared in an instant as if he was never there.
'aaaah I would so love to wield power too' Ace pouted in his head as he walked over to the large warship docked right in front of him.
The ship was over a kilometer long and a hundred wide. This is the directing ship, the mothership. White triangular, its firepower alone can be planetary using all that firepower.
Next to the mother ship, was a smaller ship, about fifty meters, the battleships, less large horizontal rectangular shape with wings protruding from both sides, having TI laser cannons of points to destroy everything on their paths, have them called the avengers.
Finally, some repair ships much smaller than battleships, as their nicknames suggest they have small laser cannons channeling some Power that repair damage done to battleship hulls but they generally stay closer to the ship's mother in case there is an anomaly. This one has an animal form resembling a phoenix then bearing the name of the legendary beast.
After entering the mothership, Ace passed the crew, some soldier who greeted him finally arrived in front of the lieutenant's room.
*Knock* *Knock*
"Come in" A voice came out of the room, it was loud and feminine.
Ace then entered the room of the lieutenant, inside, a common room, without much decoration.
A blond woman sat in a chair made of a light, pouty material, gazing at the documents behind a desk with a concentrated air, and her brow furrowed as if she was thinking of something.
"Lieut Rea, the commander sends me to tell you that we must prepare for battle, we are attacking the Elgs" Ace said respectfully to the woman in front of him as she did not even look at him.
"Alright, you can come out now I have to do" Lieut. Rea said with a hint of annoyance in her voice, as she gestured for him to come out.
Ace saluted and walked out of the room as a small drop of sweat fell from his forehead, for a moment Lieutenant Rea let out a bit of power that made Ace sweat.
'I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about this battle' Not thinking too much, Ace shrugged and walked around the quarters to prepare for the space battle.
He didn't yet know what was going to happen to him ...

The world and even the entire universe uses Power, a source of energy that grants the user the ability to do whatever they want using the user's will.
Unfortunately, the Power is so pure that it cannot be wielded without using the "techniques" for it. Normally all races can use Power, including High-Human and Elgs, but most of them preferred technology over Power.
But there are exceptions everywhere and Ace is one of them since he can sense the Power but cannot use it as someone who could breathe but not have the smells.
After a few hours of waiting, the battle fleet set off in a solar system for a battle they may never forget.
