Chapter 2: ~2~

Dream's POV

D: ...what?

S: i mean i think you should stay away from him

I look at my phone, worryingly. What does that mean? I look back at George who's half asleep. He seems to be perfectly fine, so I become more and more anxious.

D: dude stop joking around

S: i'm not! i'm being serious

D: if you're just gonna try to keep me away from George, then don't talk to me

S: wait Dream!

S: I'm sorry

S:..Dream?

I turn my phone off and sigh. George shifts towards me and starts snuggling against my arm. He looks to be a bit cold. I smile and pull him a bit closer. He smiles a bit but it quickly fades. I look back at my phone. I never acted like this towards Sap before. In fact, I've never acted like this at all before. I start gagging as my throat burns. I gently, but forcefully, shove George off of me and run straight to the bathroom. He looks at me with a very scared face, but right now, whatever is trying to come up is more important.

I lock the door to the bathroom and lean over the toilet. I start throwing up, making the worst noises in the history of noises. I clench my stomach as I start crying. I look to see what just happened, and I stare in shock. Blood. I try to get up but fail miserably. I flop back down onto the floor, holding my head in my hands. I cry as the pain in my stomach gets considerably worse. My head aches, and everything burns. I can faintly hear the sound of a door being abused, specifically the bathroom door. I look over, as I softly cry for help, before passing out onto the cold tile floor.

I wake up in my room, George next to me. I slowly open my eyes to see the relief in George's eyes. I try to get up, but he places a hand on my chest, signaling for me to stay put. I lay back down, as a wave of anger rushes through me. The only thing I could see was black. I guessed I had passed out, but what I saw made me think otherwise.

It was me. But, not me? I am me. What was going on? I look at the impostor who slowly walks up to me. I back away slightly but end up leaning against a wall. I look all directions frantically, but when I look back at myself, he's no where to be seen. I start hugging myself anxiously, trying not to cry. In all directions, I hear laughing. I didn't seem to know what was funny, until I heard the voice again, but much softer. It sounded as if it tried to comfort me, which, obviously, did not go well.

"Who are you!?" I scream. "What do you want from me? Leave me alone!"

"I've come to tell you something, Clay," The voice says, a hint of mystery added to its voice. I gulp and wait for it to continue, which it does seconds later.

"You see...I've noticed you've taken a liking to George here." Although the voice has no face, I can tell it has a smirk appearing. I blush slightly, trying to conceal the embarrassment, but fail miserably. "Well, I've come to stop those feelings of yours. That would be a slight inconvenience on my part if I didn't."

I suddenly grow angrier and angrier with the voice. Is he trying to take me away from George? Well, that's not going to happen. I look up into the sky and curse at the voice. It scoffs back at me. When I blink, I open my eyes to see white, which slowly fades back into reality. I blink a couple more times, since my eyes hurt at the light flowing through my window. When I'm able to see, however, I quickly wish that I wasn't.

"G-George..?"
