Chapter 2: Episode 2
It's been 3 days since I got a message from him, one thing is making me restless should I text him or not and I decided to take the first step but what should I text him? my fingers hovered over the screen for a couple of seconds, indecisive.
'Sorry, for being an intruder, ' this was the message I sent him. Though I hate to say sorry, 'I left with no option, other than to kill my ego.'
I got a positive response from him but the distance between us started to spacing me out of his life.
On my birthday, I can say it's the reunion day of ours 'Sarah, Happy Birthday' that's what he texted me, though it's a light sentence my heart is heavy with happiness.
I don't know when I started to share all those grief and happiness with him. He knows everything about me, the snug personality of him always comforts me than I realized we crossed the level of friendship long before.
February 15, at 12:44 a.m I proposed him, a day late for Valentine's but who expected he would become my Valentine.
I still remembered the day when I proposed to him, 'I should mention it as a terrible night.' My fingers are curled into a fist and my body started to throb with tension. Though it is a yes, he took 14 hours to say.
We decided to wrap it and keep confidential other than our close ones.
I didn't say his name right? 'Avinash, but I loved to call him Avi.'
It's been two days since we are in a relationship but never expected there would be a time bomb waiting for me.
I got a text from Avi.
Sarah, I am not sure about our relationship maybe I need some time to contemplate.
I don't know, how many pieces did my heart shattered into? I was bewildered on what he said but I didn't give up on him.
The silence between us didn't last long. He was sorry for what he said, I can see through his eyes.
I was enthralled by his innocent looks, they don't instruct me but immerse me in his deep love.
Avi commenced thinking about our first date. I don't know what struggle did he go through to plan? but it indeed remained as a fascinating memory.
