Chapter 16: Moving Out
When Valerio done on his short speech. The charity event began. I don't give time to listen about their agenda. My mind is only focusing on what may gonna happen after telling my plans to them.
I heard music and some people are going at the center to having dance. Well, all I want is to relax and keep thinking on what future brings on me. Suddenly, a voice speak out.. "Can I have a dance with the most beautiful woman?"
I want to refuse his offer but unfortunately, I seeing the side of my eyes Ferris is walking on my place.
"Oh sure, Mr. Grand" I said while giving my hand on him
"Please, don't call me that. I'm not enough old to be so-called Mr. Grand. Just call me out as my first name" he said while taking me at the center of dance floor.
"Yeah, as you said Valerio" I speak out and looking at the floor. As our skin touched each other, I felt shiverred overflowing on my body. His skin is very warm also like electricity covering my nerves. And also because of the playing song 'Perfect', I felt something unfamiliar deep inside me. Our movements are perfectly fit in every beat of the song.
"I gonna be honest, I loved the way how my name rolled out on your little tongue" he said smirking on me.
"Wow, excuse me...How can you say my tongue is just a little. As far as I know, you didn't see it yet"
"Yes, even so I didn't see it yet, according to you but I can taste it if you want too" he emphasizing the word 'yet' while grinning on his thought
Instead, I feel annoyed and terrible..I can't believe on what his words out..
"Oh I don't like the topic we're discussing right now. I'm not kinda woman you're always sleeping with your bed duh!"
"I know, my bad..I just can't help myself to amazed the queen of the night. Ok, let's talk about some matter, as I see your acting goosey what's the deal?" he asked with sound of worried.
"Oh you've noticed me.. Well, maybe this is the last time you can see me around. In the short time we annoyed each other, I'm happy we met before I leave" I told him with a sad smile on my lips.
That's true...I'm happy I've knew him before my plans happen even we didn't much know each other but I'm glad he's a part of my life here in NYC.
"Wa-wait? What are you trying to say? You'll leave? What? Why? Where do you plan to go?" he asked me random questions.
"Hold on Val...This is not my place, I've my own place where I belong with. I'm here to have my own life before to take my real world. My time here was enough long and I need to face the reality." I announced him but I shocked on what I called him but good thing he didn't give an attention of it.
"Can you tell me where yo---" he cut by a man who are standing beside me..
"Excuse me Mr. Grand, I need to say something to Reece,.. Well, it's time to go in conference room" the man stated
Valerio open his mouth to answer him but I quickly response..
"Yeah, go ahead.. I'll be there in a minute" I said to him while he nodded
"Valerio, I need to go. Thank you as well as Goodbye" I told him while getting out on his arms and walking out from the dance floor..
Few steps away from him, I saw on my peripal a woman replaced my position in his arms while dancing. I've feel pain inside me but I wondered why? I have no rights to feel this way specially on Valerio Grand.

All the staffs together with our boss are here in the conference room.
The first person speak is our boss,
"I'm glad you've been here all of you after we enjoyed the party, but before the night ends, someone needs to say something for everyone. Let's hear her out"
In the front of my eyes, I can tell my workmates begin to gossip..
"Ok listen everybody. I'm here in the front of you to annouce a little matter. Before I'll spill the tea, I want you to know I'm very happy to be with you on the 3 years of my life, from the bottom of my heart I'm very thankful all the memories we shared, but now...I need to leave my job my position and of course my life here.." I paused as some tears falling from my eyes.
"I decided to go back on the place where I need to be there. You know, NYC is not really my place to be. I've my own place and life to get there.. I spending my 3 years to prepare myself to face my future..My time here was enough.. I promised to all of you, where I've go you'll always in my heart. And if someone gonna ask me, who's the new manager of the hotel. I am gladly to tell you, I already have my choice. I know she can do everything more than what I've done. None other than Ariel, my secretary in my whole period of time. She always be there for me and she's sincere on her job. Therefore, I believed on her skills and intelligent" I stated to all of them, as the same time they're crying like a baby.
"Stop crying guys. I'm not dead duh! I'm alive and still breathing. The thing I'll do is for my sake. I swear I'll be visiting you soon when I polish everything in my life"
Now, each everyone start to smile, "Ma'am you don't need to these. Someone out there is most suit on your position"
"Stop it Ariel. We already decided you're going to replace my position" I said
"If you say so, thank you very much. I'll never forget you. I'm always grateful you're my boss and my friend" she told me
"I'm glad too. Well everyone, let's continue to enjoy the party. Maybe this is the last time we see each other.. See you soon, always take care and never forget me. Whatever you hear about me, don't be change how you treat me." I announced them
"Oh, who can forget our beautiful and sexy manager" one of the staff joked and all of us laughed. One by one left the room.
Before my boss went out, "Sir thank you for the opprtunity, I need to go"
"No need to say that. I'm happy to helped you as well as your family. Bye Reece" he said and I nodded.
I forgot, I've no car to use so I called out a cab to go home.
My farewell is just the last thing I can do to all of them. And I want to sell my penthouse not because I need money just the reason I'm not going to use it anymore.
I can't sleep, I think I've insomai. So, I must be productive on my time. I packed my things and checked everything. Tomorrow, I'm ready to leave...

I slept almost 3 hours. When I woke up, time check 7 Oclock in the morning, I have few hours to prepare.
I decided to call Eros, "Hey you, my flight is in 10 Oclock in the morning. You told me yesterday, you'll gonna drop me out in the airport"
"Oh it's too early you know. But let me ask, you didn't use your private jet?" he asked sounds like he still sleepy
"Nuh, if I used that my family gonna know where I've go and they didn't know my plans. Still they thinking I'm in the work. I'll be surprise them soon as my vacation ends" I stated while fixing my bed
"Ok, if that's what you wish for" he said
"Yeah, before I forgot, I'll selling my penthouse and if you let my car parked out in your place"
"No problem, my driver get your car there and place on my garage. Ok, I'll gonna post out your penthouse on our website, don't worry. You'll need to prepare yourself and I'll get there in an hour" he told me while yawning.
I laughed, "Well thank you, I know, I'll count on you"
"Don't be silly. You'll always know that. I need to fix myself too. Bye" and he hang up the phone as well I need what I must to do.
After an hour, the door bell rang out and I know who is it. I hurry up to open it, and Eros standing in the front of me.
"Little one, where's your stuffs? We need to move quickly you'll have only more than an hour before your flight unless you didn't want to go" he stated while smiling
I laughed out very hard and giving my stuffs on him..
Half hour passed by, we're here in the airport..
"Eros, I'll gonna be late. I need to go. See you soon thank you for everything" I said and hugging him
"I know I know..always be careful and keep yourself a break before you'll go back in England. I think, I'll be visit you there. Update me on everything happen on you. If something bad happens, your family will gonna kill me. Bye, I wish your find happiness to fulfill yourself" he stated while letting out on my hugs and kissed the top of my head.
I smiled and start walking away.. Before I entered, I waved him as goodbye. I saw him smirking while turning away.
When my feet landed inside the plane, a stewardess guide me to first class on the plane.
Few minutes later, I put my headphones in my ears and gradually close my eyes.
My mind coursing for the vacation ahead, also I thought to myself "Today my life begins"...
