Chapter 12: You always wanted to control me!
"Watch out, it's going to be painful, Kiyotaka-kun" Kiyotaka was lying shirtless on the sofa in the club room. Rias was on top of him, trying to put what looked like a "Bishop" chess piece on his chest.
The piece was red, it normally represented the 'bishop' in the chessboard, one of the most powerful pieces if you don't count the Queen.
But this 'bishop' piece was no ordinary 'bishop', it would turn the person into a devil by giving a person much more magical output which is extremely useful for magicians.
Rias was currently frowning, her face clearly showing incomprehension. She forced several times to put the piece chess on Kiyotaka's chest who emitted a red light before disappearing and the piece was pushed back.
"it does not work?" Kiyotaka asked Rias, he wondered why the piece didn't want to fit into him, worse than that even rejecting it.
"I don't know, that never happened to me." Rias in a last desperate attempt tried again. She pushed the 'Bishop' piece into Kiyotaka's chest.
An extremely bright red light bathed the room where the whole peerage of Rias was located.
"AAAh!" Kiyotaka cried out in pain, the room had changed color becoming much darker than the bright red from before finally entering his body but the pain was unbearable.
"WHAT?" Everyone in the room was shocked, the room had suddenly changed color after the 'bishop' entering Kiyotaka's chest.
Eventually, Kiyotaka was absorbed by an extremely bright crimson red light obscuring him from the rest of everyone's view in the room. A shapeless aura spread throughout the room as everyone began to sweat on their foreheads.
Koneko recoiled slightly, Yuuto put his hand on the hilt of his sword ready to draw, Issei also recoiled due to the power of the aura emitted by Kiyotaka.
"Kiyotaka!" Rias screamed rushing towards the red light but she was held back by Akeno. The crimson light was extremely fierce to the point that it had disintegrated the sofa where Kiyotaka was sitting.
*Somewhere*
Kiyotaka opened his eyes and looked around. In his field of vision entered an entirely white room, white everywhere, there was no other color.
"Where am I ?" Kiyotaka wondered aloud, he was turning into a devil when suddenly a flash of red light obscured his vision, and finally found himself in this strange place.
"Kiyotaka" A voice echoed throughout the room as if it were present everywhere.
"* AAARG *" Kiyotaka squeezed his chest in pain, he knew exactly who that voice belonged to. He knew full well who it was and didn't like it at all. Turning around Kiyotaka saw the person he never wanted to see again in his life.
"Kiyotaka, you cannot be weak, you are the best, my son" A man stood in front of the young man. The man looked old in his forties but his face was not precise, not clear, he was completely misshapen. The only trait that could be seen of the man was that he had a smile adorning his face looking at Kiyotaka like his trophy.
Kiyotaka looked at the man before removing his hand from his chest. His eyes only reflected indifference and coldness. Returning to its usual appearance from before.
"Come on Kiyotaka aren't you coming to say hello to your father?" the misshapen man opened his arms wide, motioning for Kiyotaka to come.
"I have nothing to do with you anymore" Kiyotaka stayed away from his 'father', he never wanted to see the man who had caused so much trouble in his life. The man who had shackled him like a dog.
"Ahah, Kiyotaka doesn't say that look I'm here right? Come on I need you, you're my best trophy" The man laughed. Kiyotaka clenched his hands in his fists his face still emotionless but in his heart, an unbearable fury danced inside like a blazing fire.
* Ahahahahaha *
The man laughed dismissively as if to him Kiyotaka was just something simple.
"You are pathetic Kiyotaka look at you, a trophy having gathered dust" The man spoke contemptuously to Kiyotaka, shaking his head, not even looking in his direction, he turned around about to leave.
"You're right, but the most pathetic is you, 'Father'" Kiyotaka loosened his hands completely releasing the pressure he had built up in his body.
The man stopped in an instant as if paralyzed, turning around he looked at Kiyotaka before speaking "What are you saying? You're crazy haha" The man tried to smile as best he could but his blurred face displayed a kind of confusion.
"You always wanted to control me but look at me, I'm gone for good, you're just an illusion, old man" Kiyotaka smiled at the man who was starting to fade into the light. Then the whole room began to crumble, lots of holes appeared gradually breaking the room into pieces.
* Clap * * clap * * clap *
"I'm impressed." Another voice suddenly echoed through the room which was now completely shattered. Kiyotaka noticed that there was now a new person but this time he didn't know him.
"And you are the person who created the illusion I guess ..." Kiyotaka asked, from the start he couldn't use magic in this space. As if he was restricted by something or someone.
"Right, you're smart haha, I like that," Said the stranger looking towards the young man. Kiyotaka remained calm even though he knew for a fact that the person in front of him was miles times more powerful than him.
"Since you already know me, the least you can do is tell me what your name is?" Kiyotaka asked he was strangely calm as if not all that was going on was affecting him.
"Um, I like your seriousness but don't be tough, or else you'll die in an instant, as for my name is well let's say you'll find out soon, I think?" The stranger turned about to leave before he stopped without looking back.
"I tweaked a few little things in what they call 'Evil pieces' I think. What was going before was just a test, some kind of dream you had to pass Kiyotaka, don't thank me "Then the stranger continued to walk as Kiyotaka's vision grew blurry and faint.
"See you soon." The last thing Kiyotaka saw was the stranger's hand raised as his vision blurred and he returned to the real world.
The red light in the room finally stopped as Kiyotaka's body was on the floor. Around, the room was destroyed.
Rias and Akeno quickly walked over to help Kiyotaka who was just starting to regain his strained minds as Koneko, Issei, and Yuuto were wondering "What happened?"
