Bright's POV
so she's the daughter of the withorp mom has been talking about
the one she said is bethroted to me??
"hell no, it can't be,I possibly can't marry someone like her"
I got home feeling angry and confused at the same time
mom's got an explanation to do
"mom!!!"I yelled entering into the house
"yes Ryan what happened "
"why didn't you tell me I'll be marrying a girl with no manners?,
I actually agreed to all this because I thought she'd be pretty and curvy"
"comm'on Ryan, don't be like this, don't worry you'll get to like her as you know her"she said and patted me on my back
"but still mom, I can't get married to her,I don't love her
I thought it would be love at first sight when I see her but it's the direct opposite"i retorted
"Ryan don't worry she really is a good girl,have been studying her since she was eight
"whatever mom but am still not pleased with it,when is the marriage coming up?
"it's in a month time" mom said
"what do you mean mom?I can't get married in a month time
I really can't,I don't even know her and you want me to marry her"
"you know her Ryan, you've met her, you urself said you met her at the store so don't be troubled about it okay?leave everything to me but be prepared we will be visiting them tommorow"
"but mom Ave got plans ,I have to visit my boutique"
"you can do that another time Ryan you're aren't a kid anymore,you should be concerned about your marriage"mom added
"whatever mom,just let me Know when we are leaving"i said and left for my room
so I really will be getting married
it's gonna be fun though, playing pranks on wifie
Annie's POV
I seriously can't believe the store I believed was ours is no way close to ours
I didn't even see Grace off,she must be so disappointed
mom and dad has to explain this too me cause I still don't believe
so that grumpy rude guy is the boss'son
I'll go meet mom for explanation
I need to Know what they are hiding
I was on my way to their room when I heard mom and dad discussing
Anita's POV
"don't you think we should tell her, Alfred it's high time she knows about it
we agreed the marriage will occur when she's 24 which she'll be in a months time"
"that's true but not now,she's still yet to believe the store isn't ours
let's tell her tomorrow" Alfred said
"must we go on with the marriage?, Alfred, Annie isn't ready yet and plus she can't get married in a month time "
"comm'on Alyssa have you forgotten what they did to us? you've forgotten how they helped us? we could have lost Annie years ago but .... Alfred didn't get to complete his statement when the door opened and Annie stepped in with tears
falling from her cheeks,she must have heard our conversation.
Annie's POV
I entered into their room and they were both shocked to see me
"Tell me everything you said isn't true Mom
tell me it's all a lie
you didn't sign my marriage contract with someone I don't love mom
" did you get the surgery money from them? and then signed that I'll marry their son?"
"this is unbelievable,just tell me it's all a lie "I cried out
" am so sorry Annie, we almost lost you back then, your Dad and I had no option "mom said almost crying
"it was a do or die thing Annie we did it because we loved you' mom lamented
"then what about the store?"I asked
"well,we were told to manage it since we've lost all we had" Dad said fighting back tears
"but why haven't you informed me since?why?"
"you made me think we're comfortable when we're not"I lamented
"we're so sorry Annie we were waiting for the right time to tell you" mom said
"waiting for the right time? when my marriage is being planned behind my back?"
'am so done" I muttered and ran out of the house
I can't take all this in,I really can't believe this
so I was bethroted in return for the money I was treated with?

I went back home after crying my eyes out and I met mom and dad in the sitting room probably waiting for me to return
"where have you been Annie, we've been so worried "mom said with a worried look
I didn't even bother to answer as I headed my room
I just wanna sleep over it all
