Chapter 2: Chapter 12
"Hmm, this is nice," Ryu commented as he looks at his new attire, still it sucks that he couldn't see his figure on a mirror, at least for now, he won't be a weird guy on the street, the female who bought his clothes was actually an owner of a clothing store.
Ryu turned his head and saw the female treating his clothes like it was some kind of holy item, she slowly extended her hands towards the clothes and stroked it slowly feeling the silk of the clothes.
"Ahhhh!" the female moaned.
Ryu looked at her weirdly, he had seen many things, but this was the first time he saw someone getting horny from clothes, well, must be how devoted she was to her job, Ryu didn't stay any longer, and left the store.
He received a hefty sum from their transaction, she bought the clothes for 40 gold coins, it seems like their currency revolves around bronze, silver, gold and platinum, 100 pieces of bronze coins is equal to 1 silver coin, then 10 pieces of silver equal to 1 gold, then a thousand gold coin equal to 1 platinum coin, and from the gold coin on Ryu's hands, it's a real gold.
"Now, that I have money, I should look for a place to stay, I don't know how long are we going to wait before the attack starts, I must do some info digging about this world," Ryu looked around the place and his eyes landed on one of the stalls, a drumstick that could only be seen in anime.
He immediately made his way towards the stall, "Mister, I would like to buy, how much is it?" Ryu asked.
"2 copper coins for 1 each," the stall owner said.
"Then I will buy it all," Ryu immediately said.
A few moments later, the stall owner gave him a bag which he bought. Of course, he doesn't need to carry all of them as he had a very good ability, inventory!, yes, nothing is much more convenient than inventory, he could store everything there and eat it later.
It was a feature that the system gave him, after buying a lot of foods from every stalls, spending his money, though, he only spent almost 10 silver coins from his reckless purchasing, so with that, Ryu walked around the place, of course, with great riches comes trouble, a group of people had been following him since earlier.
Ryu turned into one of the dark alleys, the group that had been following him noticed this chance and immediately charged towards that alley, they carried swords on their back, some were also carrying a staff, the moment they turned to the dark alley they found no one.
"Tch, he must be hiding somewhere, find him fast! It's rare to find a fat sheep in this place," said the one with a big body, his appearance clearly shouting I'm a villain.
Ryu was on top of the roof on his hand was a drumstick, he took a bite the chewed on it, he had to admit it really tastes good, he then looks at this group who was slowly venturing deeper unto the alley, the moment they all got on the alley, he jumped down and blocked the way out of the alley, of course, the group noticed this and turned their heads towards him.
"Kid, give us all you got and we will spare you," the big guy said as he pointed his sword towards Ryu.
Ryu didn't respond and took another bite on his drumstick, 'No matter which world you go, there will be these kinds of people, there is no such thing as a perfect world,' he thought on his mind, as he was eating he noticed a vine wrapped around his legs wanting to stop him from running.
"Ho, they could actually use magic, interesting," Ryu then turned his head towards the guy who was holding staff, his hands were glowing, he was clearly the one who casted this spell.
"Now kid, you have nowhere to run, the time limit I gave you is already done, hehe," the burly guy said, the others also took out their swords and smiled wickedly as they walked towards him, Ryu's eyes focused on the mage guy and saw how he used the magic, it was fairly simple, they have these things called mana which was infused with the air.
They use this mana to move it on their body and create a spell like the vine on his legs, Ryu raised his right hand on his chest level.
*Fwoosh
A ball of fire appeared on his palm, it was on the size of a tennis ball and it actually looked more like a sun as it revolved around his palm.
"This is boring," Ryu said and turned his head towards the group who were surprised to see him using magic.
"Shit, he is a mage!" yelled one of them.
"Everyone, charge immediately!" yelled another one as they charged towards Ryu.
Ryu only looked at them and flicked the fireball in his hands.
*Boom!
The fireball landed on the ground near them and exploded, many outside were surprised to hear the explosion so the guards not too far away from the alley immediately rushed towards it. When they reached the alley, they could see a burned ground and bodies lying on the ground, they were only unconscious.
Ryu was already looking for a place to sleep as the sun was almost going down.
