Jasmine's POV
"Push a little more harder, Ana."
"I can't do it, Ate Jas."
"No giving up. You can do this, Ana. I believe in you."
Nandito ako ngayon sa training room. It's not her schedule to be here right now. We've been sneaking out lately at night because i want to train Ana myself.
She's a new born vampire. It's very sad because at the age of 10, she died and bring back to life as a Vampire.
Luckily i found her during our mission last time at the Dela Questa building. Where i killed their leader by beheading him.
How could they turn and experiment this innocent child? She could have a very happy and epic life full of excitement. Not like this.
"Ate Jas, let's go back to the head quarters. Mag uumaga na. We can't be seen in here." Sambit sakin ni Ana tyaka ako hinatak sa kamay.
I'm sorry, little Ana.
Nasa kalagitnaan kami ng paglalakad ng makarinig ako ng kaluskos kung saan kaya napahinto ako. As so you know, our hearing is much more clear and can hear in far away. Sucks right.
"Ana, get ready. There's someone in here." Paalala ko kay Ana tyaka siya tinago sa likuran ko.
Napatingin ako sa harapan dahil parang may dumaan pero hanggin lang ang pakiramdam. I feel the presence. And i know it's a vampire.
The speed of a vampire is not ordinary too. We are much faster and much flexible that a normal human being.
Agad naman akong napalingon sa likod at sinalo ang bala ng pana na galing sa dilim. I searched the arrow that i am holding.
Napahinga naman ako ng maluwag ng makita ko ang marka. Kilala ko ang markang to.
"Come out, Ian. This ain't funny." Sambit ko.
Narinig ko naman ang maliit na tawa tyaka siya unti unting lumabas sa dilim.
Agad ko naman siyang hinampas ng makalapit siya sakin.
"Tinakot mo yung bata! Sira ulo kaba?"
"You both should be really scared because you are the one sneaking out at night. You might get caught. You know what can happen, Jas."
He's right. This whole society is dangerous. Every violation have a very bloody consequences. Not for me because i am the princess, but for Ana.
I just sighed and look at Ana. She's now smiling at me. I can't help it. She deserves to know more and train better to be ready if something happens.
And she reminded me of her. My little sister, Jam.
"Okay. Now let's get Ana home because we have a emergency meeting at the hall."
Napatingin ako kay Ian dahil sa sinabi niya. Binigyan niya naman ako ng nakakabahalang tingin. I know what's that look. It's a look full of seriousness and smells like danger.
"Ana, you go to your room now. I will follow you soon. Okay? Wait for me in a while." Sambit ko kay Ana tyaka siya hinalikan sa pisngi.
"Okay po!" Masayang sagot nito sakin tyaka tumakbo papasok ng head quarters.
Poor kid. I'm still sad about what happened to her.
Nabalik ang tingin ko kay Ian. Ngunit wala na siya dito. Hindi nako nagulat. He really wanna play games with me porkat mas mabilis siya kaysa sakin. He's older than me. As in century older than me. He's my trainor slash best friend ever since i've been a vampire until i will soon to be the queen.
I run fast as i could so i can get to the hall just in time. Of course, Ian is in there smiling like a devil in me. Tsk. As if i can beat him.
I sat in the middle chair facing all the council inside of this room. All of them are serious. Why is this meeting so sudden? what's the problem again?
"You may start." Sambit ni Ian kay Kaye na siyang tagapag salita ng grupo. This group is a family. But full of brutality, merciless, ruthless and also bloody killer vampires. You need to show your profesionality than the soft hearted you, or...
you'll die.
"The king gave a mission. They got a lead on where they're hiding the queen. It's in this extraordinary school named Valencia Academy." Panimula ni Kaye.
Why would they hide my mothe-- the queen in a fcking school? I expected that it could be at a warehouse or a abandoned house or mansion something.
Walang nag sasalita hanggat hindi pa natatapos mag salita si Kaye that's how they show respect. And it's a very good action or i might cut there throats out.
"They've known that this school is not visible to humans. The witches sealed the school for the safety of the supernatural students."
Wow. Now they have a school for supernatural creatures. Amazing. How kindly heart of them. They're just getting themselves all killed.
"But as what we thought, it's not just a school. There's also a organization inside this school that is the one who captured and kidnapped the queen. They're just using the school to cover them from any suspicion."
That question pop out on my mind. In the first place how come the queen end up in this situation? Getting caught or kidnapped inside our territory?
Because before they can successfully enter, they are all skinned alive.
That's makes me think that our enemies is not just nobody. This is powerful also. Just like us. Just like the vampires.
The king isn't telling anything about it. All he said is to find the queen and bring her back here. Period.
That's all what he cares about. The queen and this fcking society.
They're always keeping secrets. That's why this society is dangerous. Once you open your mouth, you might get killed.
"So the king gave an order..." pabitin na sambit ni Kaye.
I kept my eye on Kaye who is looking at me with nervous face. What's her problem? I gave her that look so she gazed away and fake a cough the continued.
"This mission is only for the princess to pretend as a ordinary supernatural student and enroll in the school to search for information and to be a spy so we can get the exact location where they're hiding the queen."
All people turn there eyes on me.
WHAT THE FUCK? Why only me? Why would i go inside that fcking i dunno what kind of school and be a fcking spy student?
"WHAT? No! I will not agree to this. She needs someone to come with her. She can't do that mission alone. Is the king thinking? WHY WOULD HE TAKE HER DAUGHTER AT RISK?!"
Nang gagalaiting sigaw ni Ian kay Kaye. Ramdam na ramdam ko ang galit niya. Because that's the disadvantage of being a vampire. All feelings and emotions are heightened.
"Of course. The king is underestimating me. He's doing this to prove that i can't be the queen of this society." Sagot ko sa tanong niya kay Kaye.
Ever since then never thought of me. Only Ian takes care of me. All they do is fcking think of what will they do next to this society. They didn't fcking care at all. And now, he's underestimating my ability to rule this society. Fck him. He never been a father at all to me!
The room is full of tention and silence. They're waiting for my response.
Because of what am i thinking, I can't help to smile. This is a fcking good timing after all.
They are still looking at me. But now, with a confused look because of my evil smile pasted in my face.
God, Jasmine! You are so fcking brilliant!
"I'll accept it. But send this message to the king. I'll take this mission but i have rules." Sambit ko tyaka tumayo.
"But Jasmine this is too dangerous. You can't go inside there alone. You can get killed!" Tutol ni Ian na ngayon ay may hawak na basag na baso sa kamay niyang naka sarado ng mahigpit. Dumudugo iyon.
He's angry. But i don't fcking care. I want this.
I just gave him a comforting smile but didn't say a word.
Dahan dahan akong naglakad papunta sa harapan kung saan nakapwesto si Kaye.
"Rule number one. Since I'm enrolling there as a ordinary student of course i need a new identity, new clothes, new stuffs. And also provide all the things i need although out the mission." I said and gave them a fcking victory smile.
"Rule number two. As the king said, i am going there alone. So no one will follow me or spy on me secretly. I don't fcking need a body guard or a baby sitter." Seryosong sambit ko naman tyaka tumingin kay Ian ng deretso.
"Rule number three. I will do what he wants me to do. I will finished this mission and bring all the information that I'll get..."
I paused and go to the side of the room to get my favorite liquor and pour it to a wine glass. Vodka mixed with blood. Uhh yummy!
Once i sip the last drop from the glass, i continued.
"... But i can also do what i fcking want to do inside that school. No more buts or complains. As long as I'm fulfilling this wish of the fcking king to have my mothe-- the queen back."
I looked straight at Kaye and stepped closer to her until i reached her ears.
"Understand?" I whispered.
She gulp a few times before answering.
Why so scared of me Kaye? Hahaha.
"Y-yes." She answered.
"Good. Then this meeting is done." Sambit ko tyaka dere deretsong lumabas ng room.
I hate this fcking mission. Bakit ako pa? Sa dinami dami ng vampire assassin dito.
"Maybe he really wants you to die." my subconscious said.
I just smiled because of that.
Fuck my father. Fuck the king of this society. I fucking hate him!
I will prove to him that i will never die ever! I will kill him first before i die. I didn't live for century just to end up dead.
I will prove to him that i am the one and only fucking heiress of this fucking society. And when the time comes that i became queen, i will change this society.
I will fucking fulfill my mission too after this fucking nonsense mission.
I WILL MAKE EVERYTHING CHANGE FOR THE BETTER AFTER THIS ARE ALL DONE. WAIT FOR ME VALENCIA ACADEMY. I AM COMING. ALL OF YOU WILL ROT IN HELL!
