It wouldn't be Konosuba if the characters didn't rant on each other, is what Kazuma has been thinking of ever since he got here in Axel.

Kazuma found himself in danger and is being chased by a toad, not frogs, and it looks about triple the size of a convertible. (less go.)
If this was originally Kazuma he would panic and run for his life as a giant beast chases after his food.
But this Kazuma is rather calm, and even takes a few glances at the giant toad that is giving him chase.
It's so scary, but yet fascinating that something this big and terrifying exists.
Meanwhile at a far away distance where the goddess Aqua herself is currently laughing at the humiliation of Kazuma, they were discussing about how this young teenager will easily take them down, but now he cowardly runs away from what he promised to slay. «kazuma isn't really scared as you can see but we don't have to talk about that.»
Although she likes to entertain herself more by the despair Kazuma is facing, she thought that finishing this commission would be better than watching him run all day for his life, booze is after all what Aqua seeks to drink when they finish this easy task.
Aqua clears her throat before putting up a cocky voice. "Kazuma~~ It seems like demise shall soon crash upon you! But fear not! I the goddess Aqua shall save you, but there are somethings you must do for me in order to be saved by a great great goddess of the-
"...? Huh? Was someone something?"
Kazuma looked to his right and saw Aqua. Being the cocky whiny useless goddess he remembers on his television.
She was waiting for this moment to happen. Right when Kazuma is in the face of danger, Aqua offers her help to him if only he agrees to some of the goddesses demands.
But right as Kazuma stopped running the toad that was running after him changed target and started hopping in the direction of where Aqua is.
Such a vulnerable target that doesn't run is perfect for the toad as he can finally have something to eat, a big fat ass of a goddess.
Kazuma doesn't even try to earn Aqua of the dangers coming to her as her long of demands she is giving out still continues, like she's so lazy she doesn't wanna bother do all the work, just because she's a goddess it doesn't mean all peasants of the world must kneel down and kiss her feet.
"Too bad it's a cult." Kazuma said with a calm tone as the giant toad was now in front of her, and before Aqua could finally finish the last thing she wanted, if ever she gets there to deal of the toads, she immediately gets caught in the toads mouth and is now looking up so it can swallow it food.
Kazuma sighed as he got up and walked up to the toad, deliberately letting Aqua be eaten until further action has been done.
Kazuma here is kind, but he's more of an asshole still, so at least the girl inside of him thinks this is just normal Konosuba, right…?
