Chapter 43: The Get going Phase

"Oliver, we need to rush. Whole media is creating a situation," Sophia said

"What? How can media create a ruckus? I have assigned our personal team to control the issue," Oliver queried

"No, they are not creating any ruckus. They are just waiting at the office doorstep to hear a statement from Louisa," Sophia replied looking at Louisa who is tapping her feet

"They want a statement from me? Good, I will give them the best kind of reply with a Louisa touch in it. It's been quite some time they got a reply from me," Louisa replied angrily

"This is what we are saying Louisa, you need to have control over all your senses. You just can't rebel on everyone," Oliver warned

"You guys always want to keep me in control even when I am not at any wrong. Why is it like that?" Louisa yelled back

"That is not the topic of discussion now," Oliver cut his daughter off saying that

"Sir, let's start moving," Tim spoke

"Yeah, I will come with Louisa," Oliver replied

"No Sir, don't do like that because that will make the media people think that we are protecting her. They should not get that kind of idea. Let's be normal. We should brush off that matter," Tim replied

"Yeah, we need to make that matter look like a mere nothing. I am wondering that why hasn't anyone from the Carter family or their business clan made any trail to reach us? Don't they have any reaction for this?" Oliver questioned

"I have no idea Sir, even any of our agents can't find any information about their reaction," Tim replied

"Why aren't they reacting? Aren't they worried about the media's dirty trails?" Oliver questioned wearing his suit

"Dad, the Carter guy came out before the media yesterday after staying in shadow for many years and the next day he is in newspaper hugging me so close and we haven't received any message from them about this, so connecting these dots I feel that this is some kind of plan by the Carters," Louisa stated

"Louisa, please stop drawing those conclusions. Stop doubting every person. We have detectives doing their job and we are paying them hefty amounts, they will do their job. So it would be better if you stop the assumptions and start for the office," Oliver cut her off

"Fine, keep pushing my theories away. One day when our detective team will finally be able to crack a thing then you will know how accurate my assumptions are," Louisa yelled

"Keep your voice low and take a deep breath before starting," Oliver said looking at his daughter

Louisa stared at him irritated

"Lou, listen to me. I know that you are not at peace dealing with many things but please try to be calm. I can lose anything in the world but not you. So please don't lose your calm and cool, We don't know what is running in people's minds and what they want to achieve with it so never lose hold over your tongue. One unnecessary word from our mouth will make headlines and decrease our goodwill by ten folds so be careful. The most important thing is don't fall for anyone's trap, they may try to twist you to get something which will spice up their sales. So please don't hurt your heart in any way. If you feel uncomfortable about anything just look beside you and you will see your dad standing holding your hand," Oliver said nudging his daughter's hand

"I am a little scared," Louisa said looking down

"My little tiger is scared?? But why?" Oliver questioned ruffling her hair

"Dad, it's been many days I was tagged with a guy and now after all these days when I am linked with someone of opposite gender I am not feeling easy," Louisa replied

"Lou, don't think too much Baby, they just created a rumor we should not worry about that. Be cool Baby, I am here for you; no one can do a thing when I am with you," Oliver assured his daughter

When Louisa still kept staring down at the floor Oliver pulled her chin up and questioned, "Do you believe in your Dad?"

When Louisa nodded in assurance after a minute, he kissed on her forehead

"Let's go to the office in Louisa Miller's style and just give those asses what they deserve," Oliver said sliding his arm into Louisa's

"Yes Dad, let's go," Louisa replied smiling and both moved out of the dining room

"Tim, we are starting," Oliver said as soon as they entered the elevator to come downstairs

"Dad, I don't want security around my car," Louisa whined as soon as a Grey Porsche with total security came into her view

"No Lou, don't you dare say a no to me. You know everything surrounding us so I am not going to listen to a no from you no matter what," Oliver stated seriously

"Why do you want to make my life hell?" Louisa whined stomping her feet

"Lou, stop wasting time and go sit in the car," Oliver said pushing her towards the vehicle

"You are so mean. Please don't forget that we lost my mobile which is very important for us and the chip too," Louisa said sitting inside the vehicle

"I have assigned teams for that Lou. Don't worry about those. Now get going and enter the office from the secret way not the front and back door's because the paparazzi is in either place," Oliver replied before closing the door

"Yes, Dad. I won't come before the media before your signal," Louisa assured him before starting

Once they bid their goodbye, the vehicle started

"Tim, we have Louisa's medicines handy right?" Oliver questioned

"Sir, I have sent her medicines with her security, I kept a few in the vehicle and I have the medicines with me too," Tim said showing the medicines he kept in his coat

"I am so nervous about how things are going to turn Tim. This is new to us. Our Louisa is scared about this and I am not sure how the Carters are going to react and how this all will come out, I just want the peaceful days back," Oliver stated pressing his forehead

"Sir, don't worry about anything. Everything will be safe. We have things in our hand even if the Carters do something out of our guess we can still have a hand over them as we are a step ahead of them in every way," Tim assured his boss

"I hope everything goes well Tim"

"Yes Sir, everything will go well. Don't worry. I have my eyes on all matters so please don't worry," Tim kept assuring him

"Okay then, I will too start for the office," Oliver said signaling for his vehicle

"I will too follow you, Sir," Tim said walking towards his car

"So after all this time you have finally achieved what you wanted?"

"What did I achieve?"

"Hey man, you wanted to see the Miller household dancing on to your tunes and now the same thing is happening and you are saying that you haven't achieved a thing. This is not fair"

"This is just a step dear friend, a very small step. I have a lot more to achieve. I am waiting to avenge every bit of what they did to me. The pin they caused to me and until the time that Millers won't be shattered I won't see anything as an achievement," he replied firmly
