Chapter 16: Jio's Place
"Ha ha ha..... it's nothing to scare of, what a weak" Jio throws the insect back to the bushes.
"You can't even differentiate between the scare, and disgusting" with soft voice Yoka complaint, take a look around where they stop now
"Thirsty?" Jio takes the water bottle from his bag and gave it to Yoka, looking at Yoka sitting calmly there drinking makes Jio at least feel in peace. Imagine no single human with him out here might stressed him.
"Thanks... let's go" returning the bottle, Yoka continue walking.
Yoka thought there would be any attacks after that Rhinzeos escaping but reaching their destination and nothing happens.
"You remember anything around here?" Now they are in the middle of the street full with empty houses and buildings.
Jio is trying to recognise the building one by one, finding which one is the most similar to his apartment building in the Real World.
"Wait up...when I first arrived here, I'm not paying attention to the surrounding when I was arrived here because that cat talked to me" Jio pressed his hair, shifting his eyes from one to another side he still tries to get just one thing that might help him remembering.
Shaaaaahh!!
Jio suddenly summons his sword and Hui Go.
"Oh?! Why are you summoning your sword? Is something happened?" Yoka getting ready in case Jio got another vision
"No... it's nothing" Jio turned to Hui Go next to him.
"I need your help to find me any big building with 20 floors around this area, come and report to me later," Jio asked Hui Go to find those kind of building because his apartment building has 20 floors in the Real World.
"Okay...." Hui Go leaving in such a flash
"Is he leaving already?" watching from the aside, Yoka just waiting even though he can't see Hui Go but he can read Jio's expression
"Hm..." he nodded "Let's go before it getting dark" Jio follows his instinct leading him to one shabby area.
"Nothing here... let's go to that way" wanting to leave this abandoned areas which seems doesn't have any potential of what they're looking for.
"Wait...I remember these areas" Jio take a look at the ground where they're standing carefully.
"What about this ground?" Yoka found nothing but the old yellow worn-out lines like those parking lines we used to find at the parking lot.
"Wait..." closing his eyes, concentrating and Jio tapes Yoka hard on the shoulder "I know this place!!" Jio shouts
He ran around this area with his head busy turning left and right like searching for something.
"Dude...slow down! Calm down," Yoka ran after Jio, seeing Jio this excited not helping, Yoka grabbed Jio on his shoulders in order to stop him running around carelessly.
Holding by Yoka on his shoulders, exciting Jio breath in and breath out to calm himself.
"Okay.... Yoka, this our parking lot, I mean our parking lot in Real World is totally the same, I recognised it because this is where I always parked my car," he finally explained the reasons of him getting excited.
"That's mean we're almost there."
"Yeah I know."
"okay, now try to remember from which building you came out or we can just go check them out one by one... But none of these buildings with 20 do floors like you said to Hui Go before."
"I know... to check them out one by one might be the best but it will takes time," Jio is thinking, then say," I will call Hui Go back."
"Maybe Lokian can help us too" Yoka decided to summon his sword and Lokian.
Now four of them checking out the building, according to what Jio told them to find any room number 203.
Lokian goes by himself while Hui Go also goes by himself. Jio takes Yoka with him just in case he found the door.
Entering one small building which only has about 4 floors, Jio and Yoka checking every floor though it doesn't make sense if this building had rooms up to 203 still they need to check carefully. Nothing really works like in the Real World here...
"Dude...." Yoka calls Jio who walks in lead
"Yes?" Jio is looking at the doors numbers, this is the third floor but there only 13 rooms as far, the possibility of this building had his room is small
"What are you going to do when we really find your room?" Just asking bluntly, Yoka doesn't realise his question makes Jio stopped for a while.
"Huh? Of course I'm going back to the Real World," Jio just saying, immediately after those words comes out from his mouth, he is starting to think about something else such Mikan, Uncle Ho and also Yoka there's such a needle poking his chest.
"Of course you are...and don't forget Wellan, coming from the same place as yours is fortune for her that she can go back with you once we found your room" Yoka remaining about Wellan
"Can't you guys just come with us? What's will happen if you come with us? What's will happen if you come with us?we live in the same Real World anyway. You guys can go back to your place with airplanes, or anything from our country"Jio got the idea.
"Ha ha... we've try try that way yet, when Pico Seana leave, some of us need to protect and defending the room from attacks. Those shitty creatures somehow always managed to find us everytime the doors or maybe the portal found."
"They must have such a power to detect if any portal is opening...we can think about it later... let's at least find the room tonight and do planning later" Moving faster, Jio walks while checking the doors in such a speed.
"Jio...I found one, you might come to check it out" Hui Go voices coming to Jio's head, such a communication between them is very sophisticated
"Yoka....Hui Go found one" Jio's running downstairs.
"...!!" Running from behind Jio, Yoka can see how excited Jio is, but Yoka doesn't know that dilemma in Jio's heart.
Finding Hui Go is easy, Jio can see where his position in his head plus the aura he emitted is strong enough to be spotted.
On their way running, Yoka calling Lokian to join them.
The building where Hui Go found the room is far from similar to Jio's apartment building in Real World. This building is more like a ghost house rather than an apartment building, spiderwebs is in every corner, the ceilings looks old and thick dust everywhere
"Your apartment building a bit disappointing," Yoka whispers when they're reaching Hui Go who stands in front of one door with number 203 on it.
"Our apartment building not like this" Jio stops in front of the door, he feels badoom inside.
"Is this the ones we are looking for?" Hui Go asking, he can't tell from Jio's expression
"...." Jio takes a deep breath.
Lokian, Yoka and Hui Go watching him nervously.
"This is...yes, this is my door" not moving his eyes from the room's numbers. Jio has so many thoughts spinning in his head now causing him unable to moves, even to shifts his eyes to his fellow feels awkward.
"We need to bring Wellan here then" Yoka standing besides Jio, touching his shoulder.
"Yes.... you're right... Let's return tohto the house and comeback here again with everyone" Jio hardly moves his gaze to Yoka
"Let's mark everything around here, so it'll be easier for us to comeback here later on," Yoka suggested.
"Let's do it," Jio agreed.
With Hui Go and Lokian's help, marking the building and surrounding areas is done.
They're tied the rope from Jio's backpack to every tree along their way heading back home.
Hui Go and Lokian are back into the swords as Jio and Yoka heading back home now
Walking in silence, Jio pulls Yoka to walking a bit closer to him, the night is getting deeper and they suddenly feel awkward to have conversations.
They fall into their own thoughts.
