Chapter 44: Granite cave and Revenge
Next morning after collecting his Noivern, Jason and Brawly started there journey towards Granite Cave where they were going to face team venom.
"So Brawly how many badges you have ?" Asked Jason, Jason and Brawly were in the forest near Dewford wood and his Lucario and Charmeleon were walking along with Riolu and Makuhita of Brawly, Jason's Gallade was in the pokeball in his locket and Haunter was hiding in his shadows.
"I have three badges as of now and planned to get others by 1 year." Said Brawly.
"Ok good, why are you at home, you can go on journey." Asked Jason.
"Dad stopped me, he said he will let me train my pokemon here and also take me to different gyms for battle. How many badges you have Jason." Brawly said.
"As per league I have badges equivalent to 10 badges but I have only 5 Badges." Said Jason.
"What do you mean ?" Asked confused Brawly.
"Look as per league you can get 1 star badges by defeating every gym leader." Said Jason and Brawly nodded, "But there are 3 kind of badges by some or all gyms, 1 Star badges which is normally given by Gyms to all trainers, 2 Star Badges which is only given to trainer who are capable of defeating high level pokemons then their prescribed rule pokemon as per league which vary per trainer level. And 3 star gym is only given by some gyms but only if you prove worthy of it." Jason Finished his explanation.
"So how many different badges you have ?" asked Brawly who was now interested in badges that Jason has.
"So I have 1 one star, 3 Two star and 1 Three star badge." Said Jason showing him his card which was showing his Title as Ace Trainer.
"Wow, you are an Ace Trainer, when you started your Journey ?" Asked Brawly in enthusiasm.
"Last year." Said Jason.
"You must have traveled all around and defeated many different trainers and pokemons ?" Said Brawly and Jason nodded on that, "But dad don't allow me to travel on my own, if only he allows me then I can be as powerful as you." Said Brawly whose tone was sad now.
"Don't worry, you can convince your dad by showing you power and then he won't stop you." Said Jason to cheer him up and he just smiled.
This chit chat was ongoing when Jason saw two Venom Grunts going in one direction.
"We will follow them." Whispered Jason and Brawly nodded.
They started following those two grunts, keeping some distance so they can hide if those grunts turned around, but it didn't happen. They continued following those grunts for next 15 minutes, they saw those grunts entering in bushes near the cave entrance.
Jason told Brawly to get ready and they silently entered through the bush. When they crossed those bush, they saw a big hole near the corner of Mountain and a gate was there. Jason and Brawly walked towards the gate, when they went near they saw some grunts patrolling around and two grunts whom they were following, entered building by showing a card near some sort of machine which opened the gate for them.
Jason called out his Kirlia and told him to bring the Patrolling grunts here and not to let them make any noise and she did that, then Jason took their Id Card from pocket and tied them near a tree. Jason and Brawly walked towards the gate and Jason also called out his Nidoking to get ready for any fight. Jason opened the gate using that card and entered the building.
There was very dark in the room and when they walked for around 30-40 mtrs, suddenly lights flashed all around the corner and they saw 1 Girl with red hairs whose age was around 15-16 on a stand near the other side of building and three man were standing behind her. When Jason looked around him, he saw they were surrounded by around 60 Grunts and all had pokeballs in their hand.
'Now this is going to be worse, we are outnumbered.' Thought Jason.
"Well Well, look we have two intruders here. Aren't you some hero kind of person ?" Said that Girl.
"We are here to stop your plans team venom." Said Jason (Common hero dialogue).
"Ohh a big mouth as well, grunts capture them." Said that girl and all the grunts around sent there pokemons. Now there were around 100 Pokemons around them, though all were below Advance level but number was too high.
Jason called out all his pokemons, Noivern, Nidoking, Lucario, Charmeleon, Kirlia, Lairon, Haunter, Sceptile and Marshatomp. He kept his gallade in ball and planned to use if situation go out of hand, but his nidoking was enough to defeat more then 30 Pokemon of that level. Brawly also send out his pokemons, Riolu, Makuhita, Taillow, Seedot, Shroomish, Torchic and Poochyena. So now battle was between 16 Vs 100 and 7 from his side were weak so he told his pokemons to go all out and finish all 100 as soon as possible.
Those 100 pokemons were no match for Jason's Pokemon but because of number it took 10 minutes for his pokemon to finish them and his pokemon were little tired. Now Jason told Kirlia to use Mass Hypnosis and she made all 60 grunts fall asleep.
"Well these grunts are worthless, now its upto us." Said that Girl and all four of them entered battlefield. Those three admins sent out there pokemons, one had a Haunter and Dusclops. Where as second had Drapion and Rhyhorn and third one had Skuntank, Golbat and Machoke. Jason told Haunter to take care of two ghost types. He told Kirlia and Lucario to take care of three pokemons and Charmeleon, and Marshatomp were battling Drapion and Rhyhorn. Jason asked Brawly to stand back and told Sceptile to stand with him.
That girl also sent her pokemon, one was a Weavile and other one was a Lapras, (Both of them were at Pseudo King level) she sent out a crobat as well who was at Peak Elite. Jason told his Noivern to battle Crobat, Lairon with Weavile and Nidoking with Lapras.
Jason's Kirlia was battling against Machoke and Golbat:
Kirlia used Psybeam on Machoke and she was hit by an attack from behind, it was air cutter move by Golbat. Kirlia got angry with this and she used Psychic to throw that golbat on now fallen Machoke. Those two pokemons were still far from being defeated and they used diversion and hit policy, Golbat started diverting Kirlia by using Air Cutter and Machoke used Mega Punch to throw her on the other side.
'What is going on Kirlia, are you getting beaten by these weak pokemons ?' Said Haunter and laughed.
'They are just confusing me, now I will show them that why no one ever dare to mess with me.' Said Kirlia and used Full power psybeam on machoke and that machoke fell on ground unconscious. Now she turned towards Golbat who was shivering in fear, Kirlia was not in a mood to forgive anyone and she used her psychic to control his movements and then threw him on a corner and then smashed that golbat with a sofa nearby, that golbat was killed.
Kirlia roared in proud for her winning and a white light surrounded her, she evolved in a beautiful Gardevoir.
Gardevoir is a bipedal, humanoid Pokémon whose body resembles a flowing gown. Most of its body is white, but its hair, arms, and the underside of its gown are green. Its hair curls over its face and down the sides of its head. Behind its red eyes are short spikes, resembling a masquerade mask. It has long arms with three fingers on each hand and slender white legs. A red, fin-like horn extends from its chest, and a shorter, more rounded horn extends from the back. A band of green on its chest extends to the center of the front horn and connects to its sleeve-like arms.
Next was Battle between Lucario and Skuntank:
This battle was shortest and Lucario first used extremespeed to get close to Skuntank and then used Close Combat followed by Mega Punch and when that pokemon was sent flying Lucario finished him with 3 Aura spheres which were very powerful ones. This battle was complete dominating one and he was the first to defeat his pokemon easily and returned back beside Jason, Jason Congratulated him for his easy win.
Marshatomp Vs. Rhyhorn:
This battle was similar to Lucario but it too a little more time to defeat that Rhyhorn. Marshatomp used water pulse to immobile that rhyhorn and then used a Mega Punch to send him flying but as soon as Rhyhorn landed on ground he used a powerful Earth Power attack towards Marshatomp and marshatomp startled by that attack, that attack was followed by a Rock Slide. Marshatomp used Protect and dodged Rock Slide move then used Muddy Water attack, followed by a Water Pulse which increased its size because of Muddy Water move. That Rhyhorn Fainted and Marshatomp also Returned Back to Jason, he was second after Lucario.
Charmeleon Vs. Drapion:
This Battle started with a night slash from Drapion which was dodged by charmeleon and he used a flamethrower on drapion. Drapion countered this attack with Sludge bomb and both attacks collided in mid air. Charmeleon used its speed to get close and his plan was to use slash attack followed by Fire Fang but before he could use Fire Fang he was sent back flying by a powerful Poison Tail attack.
Charmeleon Used Fire ball which he was practicing in the field. This move he uses for diversion and drapion again countered it with a Sludge Bomb but Charmeleon used flamethrower on him and he got hit by that scorching flame, then Charmeleon used a slash and Fire fang Combo and finished that drapion with a Fire Ball. after defeating him Charmeleon returned back to Jason and he Just returned after Gardevoir, Jason and all others were praising their friend's evolution and Charmeleon also joined them.
Haunter Vs. Haunter and Dusclops
Jason's Haunter was easily able to defeat the other Haunter by Sucker Punch followed by a shadow ball but Dusclops was taking longer then normal.
'You won't be able to defeat me easily like that Haunter.' Said Dusclops who sent a shadow ball towards Jason's Haunter.
'We will see about that.' Said Haunter and countered Shadow ball by his own Shadow ball and then hid himself in Shadow and used shadow sneak attack which was combined by a shadow punch.
'Why are you following that weak child's command.' Said now fallen Dusclops.
'Because that kid helped me and made me this powerful. And you did biggest mistake of your life by calling him weak.' Said Haunter with bright red eyes and used Night Shade which hit dusclops and without even waiting for next moment he kept on using shadow balls on him. When Haunter saw that both of them are fallen he said, 'I won't let you go easily, now you will make me powerful.'
Haunter absorbed those two and when they both were absorbed completely, a white light surrounded Haunter and he evolved into Mighty Gengar.
Gengar is a dark purple, bipedal Pokémon with a roundish body. It has red eyes, a wide mouth that is usually curled into a sinister grin, and pointed ears. On its back are numerous spikes and it has smaller spikes on top of its head similar to tufty fur. Its arms and legs are short with three digits on both its hands and feet. It also has a stubby tail.
Gengar returned back to his team, 'Congratulations Gengar.' Said Gardevoir.
'Congratulations to you as well.' Said Gengar and all others who defeated their opponents Joined them as well.
