Chapter 17: King Arnaldo

"Excuse me? " I said suddenly angry

"Who the hell are you? Why are you sending me on such a hectic errand to spread the word that you just got back when you can bloody do that yourself! And lastly you almost broke my nose and you didn't even show any remorse. How dare you!" I glared at him as if I wanted him to dissapear that instant

"Easy there tigress, I'm Arnaldo" he said beating his chest with a proud smile.

"Yeah, I got that the first time dumbo and I don't really give a damn, now apologise! "

"Okay okay, sheesh... I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I almost broke your nose, forgive me yet? " he said furrowing his brows.

"Better. And I'm not sharing any stupid news, you do that your self. If you truly are a king in Grey high people should already know that you have arrived" then I proceeded towards the exit door.

I heard him mumble "oh they know, and sooner or later you'll find out who I truly am" hmmph

Well I don't give a damn if he thinks he's the president's son and wants to break my nose because he has returned. Whatever...

Reaching the girls dorm, I decided to slip into Nora's room and chill for a sec

"Hey Nora"

"Katie!!" She screamed

"Hey... What's going on? And where's Sophia? "

"Oh, she went to go do some stuff with Kc" just then we heard a knock on the door so we yelled

"Come in! The door's open! " then Kc and Sophia stormed the room

"Hey kats" Kc waved me. She's been calling me that for a while now...

"I haven't seen Maja in a while now, where is she?" I asked

Sophia answered this one "She had some stuff in school and she just had to do it with her classmates. I say its the best since she'll make more friends her age."

We all just nodded showing our sign of agreement with what she said

Then Kc started talking with excitement, I noticed she's very hyper today. "Guys did you see the bangle Emily wore today?" well we all know she has to be talking about Fresberg

" Nope, I didn't. tell me about it"

"Its white and its got a small diamond in the center, a big green emerald at the side and some shiny shiny stones. I'm so envious... I want that bangle" she sighed

"You know you can't get it" Nora said.

"Yeah right... Because a beau has something that's expensive doesn't mean I can't afford it. All I have to do is get good grades, then that bangle is mine" Kc smiled deviously

"Wow... Ok, I would like to see you wearing it in grade 11" Sophia said

"No problem, I'm going to make it happen "

"Hey guys... Let's talk about Kelvin" she continued

"Your secret crush/hubby?? " I said and then we burst out with laughter.

Its not my fault, she once told us that she dreamt about him and that they got married in a small church with family and friends present. We were her maids of honor because she couldn't pick one, when the wedding was over, she threw her flowers and guess who caught it...

that story is so laughable, a fantasy that will never come true...

"Kc he's a senior" Sophia said

"I know and I don't care, fact is we are meant to be, my dream never lies... "

"Oh this time it lied... It lied to you big time" then we started laughing all over again.

"Whatever but I'm telling you, he will notice me one day. Just give him time..." She smiled. She's so gullible

Then she clapped her hands "ok now how about you and Liam, anything happen yet? " I swear she's too hyper for her own good because God knows I don't wanna talk about it...

But I just have to "He hasn't said anything yet, but he gives me attention. Like one time when my arm wasn't ok, he asked if he could get some ice for me" then I smiled remembering how good that day was.

"Plain old, same old Liam, sorry Katie but that's just how he acts towards everyone. He would do the same for any of us in this room right now" Nora said

"Tell us something more... Like have you guys kissed? " then they all turned and focused their eyes on me, even Sophia joined them

".... No"

"Ahhhh! " they chorused,

"But we've hugged " I countered

"Boring... " Kc said yawning

Well I guess my love life is boring. What do you think??

Just then I remembered the guy that bumped into me some minutes ago, might have been an hour or so

"Hey guys! " well that got their attention

"Ever heard of the name Arnaldo?"

"Where did you hear that " Nora suddenly jumped on me because I was sitting on the bed.

"I bumped into him on my way here... You guys know him? "

"Know him? Know him? Who doesn't know Arnaldo! King Arnaldo!!" Kc screamed

"Is he some guy of importance?? " I asked

"You came late so you wouldn't know him" Sophia patted me on the head

"One of the hottest guys in grade 10, I heard some of the seniors like him. He's cool and rich too, you wouldn't know but he's very very smart but he likes goofing around alot, he dated Crystal back then and then suddenly poof... hot guy was no where to be found" Kc said.

"What happened? " I asked, "Why'd he leave?"

"Well he didn't leave, he got suspended. Big time. I can't believe he's finally back, he missed alot and he's coming back when exams are around the corner" Sophie said

"So what happened to Crystal when she heard he was suspended? "

"She practically locked her self in her room, miss Magarette was kind enough to let her miss some classes for two weeks before she came back" Nora replied

"Oh!... And do you guys know why he was suspended?"

"Reason unknown" Kc raised her arms in the air

"Hmmm ok. Well I've gotta nap before dinner so see you guys later" I waved I exited the room. Arnaldo sure has some past. Reason unknown huh?

I went upstairs to my room and slept like a log

At dinner...

I walked in looking as bright as ever, that nap really did me well. I hurried and got my food from the counter and proceeded towards our normal table. As I walked some guy came towards me and almost hit me, what is wrong with these students today.

I hissed "watch where you're going "

I walked to our table and sat down and devoured my hot soup, then I noticed a note was beside my bread. I opened it *When you're done, meet me at the stairs leading to the fourth floor.

PS: my favorite color has always been red.

I turned and looked around the hall full of hungry students. Turning west, at exact 09:00 he was there with some group of boys... Laughing.

I couldn't help my self but stare... He was really handsome with his black rough hair still moist from the shower he probably took some minutes ago, he wasn't that muscular but his biceps were Oh My Gosh!

The way his Adam apple went up and down when he drank his bottle of water just made my body feel hot all of a sudden, I guess his friends missed him very much. He didn't see me staring though, he just payed attention to what one of his buddies who using his hands to illustrate what he was trying to say. I admit, Arnaldo is very yummy, no wonder Crystal went for him.

But why... Why does he want to see me? We just met once and he's already infatuated? Naaa, don't get too cocky Katie he might want something else, maybe just a simple conversation is all.

I want to go but everything in me is screaming Danger! Danger! What if he tries to pull something? He wouldn't do that... Would he?

"What's that? " Liam said pulling me out of my thoughts. I looked at what he was pointing at and it was the note I tightly held in my hands. I didn't have an explanation so I just gave it to him.

He read it and turned to look around, probably looking for Arnaldo, when his eyes found him it narrowed. I turned too to take a look and just then as if planned Arnaldo turned and our eyes met. Jolts of electricity passed through my body, he winked at me and then I just quickly turned and continued sipping my soup. But I still peaked and then I saw him getting up and leaving.

"He's back huh. So are you going to go?"

"No" I quickly said and continued eating... I know I want to but I just don't understand this feeling I'm having. Its not like how I feel towards Liam, this time its more like a black hole sucking me in and he's the danger I've been trying to avoid since I got here.
