Chapter 1: 1
Ayana's Point of view
It is quiet and peaceful. Im surrounded by different kinds of flowers. I walk through the field of colorful flowers and saw a river. I sat down near it as i watch the river flows, but suddenly the sky turns black. Its going to rain soon so i stand up but someone hugged me from my back so suddenly i woke up and realized it was all a dream.
"Aya, good morning" he said happily as he kissed my forehead while i just stared at him blankly. 'I wish i never woke up' thats what's in my head right now. "Why aren't you saying anything?" He asked me that makes me panicked.
"Im so sorry. I was just still sleepy that my mind was not in my normal state" i calmly said. I dont want to make him angry so i always lie. Its the only way to prevent those things. "Oh i see, then let's sleep again" said as he hug me tightly. This goes on everyday...
"Aya, I'll let the maid cook us breakfast" he said and went out of our room. I stared at the ceiling and a tear fell off my eyes. This is too much. If only i could turn back the clock, i would never talk to him. But i can't because that would never happen. Im already stuck in this situation.
"Aya, lets go-, Wait are you crying?" He asked so i wiped the tear away and smile. "No, im not. Its just that a dust from the ceiling fell off my eye" i said and rub my eyes. "*Sigh* dont rub it. Let me help you" he said and blew at my eyes. "There, lets go! Breakfast's ready" he said so i stand up and went to the dinning room.
"Here, eat this one" he said and attempted to feed me. "Okay" i said and eat it. It would be a problem if i wont i obey him. "Was it delicious? I was the one who cook that one" He excitedly said waiting for my answer. "Yeah, it was delicious" i said and show my fake smile. It really is delicious but i dont feel like smiling
"Oh time really flies so fast. I'll go now, aya. I'll meet you later at the usual place. Bye" he said and kiss me. Now, im alone in this big ass mansion. But at least no one could pester me. I went to my studio and paint again. I always love painting. Most of my art were flowers. For some reasons, i like painting them. Its like something connect me to them.
Now, im painting a butterfly weed. I like it's color and also the secret message of it. "Let me go" that's what its message is.
After I've finished painting, i went to my art gallery. I like going out of that prison but there are people who are guarding me so i cant escape. "Madam, where are you going?" The guard asked. " Im just going in to my art gallery, okay? No need to guard me. Stay outside" I said and go in of the building bringing my paintings.
"Good morning madam!" The staffs greeted me. I just nodded at them and went on my office. I still cant relax cause there is a CCTV inside my office connecting to my husband. There's no safe place for me to stay.
"Madam, im going to inform you about the guests from other countries who would be visiting us tomorrow morning at 9 am" my secretary said while showing me the documents. "Okay, just leave it there" i said so she put the documents on my table and leave. I walked toward the window and look at the people who are walking. They seems so free. No one guarding them. No one reminding you of who you are.
I receive a phone call from my husband saying that we should meet earlier than the scheduled time. I let out a deep sigh and get my things then, get out of the building. But soon as i get out of the building, someone bumped on me that causes me to fell off the ground.
"Ouch, please watch where you're going" i calmly said. "Im so sorry. Let me help you" he said and help me stand up. "Im so sorry. I didn't mean it" he said while continue bowing. I think this guy is a korean or japanese. "Its okay, but please next time watch where you're going" i said and smiled. "Oh okay thank you. May i ask if where is the Summer Mist Gallery?" He said and i giggled. "Its just in front of us" i said and he smiled. "Thank you, I'll be going then" he said and go in of the building.
"Are you okay, madam?" The two guards said that makes me lose my smile. "It's nothing" i coldly said and went to the near cafe to meet my friend. Its been months since i last saw her. "Aya-Aya!!" She said while waving her hands towards me. I wave back and smile. "I really missed you" she said and hugged me. "Me neither" i said while smiling.
"Its been 2 or 3 months. You look- you're not okay, right?" She said worriedly when she saw a bruise on my arm. "No, im fine" i said covering it. "Don't you dare lie to me" she said and look at my bruise. Tears fall off her eyes while looking at me. "Im so sorry" she said wiping her tears. "No, it's fine. It wasn't your fault. It mine. I should've listened to what they said, right?" I said while laughing.
"Lets get out of here" she whispered. "I cant, there are so many people guarding me" i whispered back and she sighed. "Dont worry, we can handle it. Lets leave here tomorrow. Im bringing you back to Europe" she whispered.
"Madam, its time to go" the guard said. "I see, I'll be going then. Bye" i said and hugged her. "I'll think about it first and contact you. But if i ever cant contact you, go to my gallery at 9 am. I'll go there" i whispered. "Bye" she said and nodded.

"There you are, I've been waiting for so long" he said. As if, Im just late for 5 minutes, okay? "Im sorry" i said and sat down. "We'll be meeting a guest today so behave, okay?" He said and smile at me. Its good that there is another person joining us.
"Am i late?" A boy ask. "No you aren't" my husband said and told him to sit down. "Mr. Seo, im glad that you invited us" my husband said. "Im also glad to have you here, Mr. Williams" the boy said. I didn't dare to look at them. "Mr. Williams, who is this?" The boy ask.
"Oh she's my wife, Ayana Williams" my husband said. " She's pretty" he said as he sat down. "Of course, for me my wife is the prettiest girl in the world. I love her so much" he said as he look at me that makes me more awkward.
"Oh have i met you before?" He said looking at me. I face him and realized that he's the man who bumped into me earlier. "Oh yes, we met earlier at the Summer Mist Gallery" i said. "Nice to see you again Miss Ayana" he said and bow to me so i bow to him back.
"Miss Ayana, are you a pure american or with a half nationality?" He asked and shake my head as a no. "No, i am half European, half Japanese, half American and half Filipino" i said that makes him laugh. He might look familiar to me but i dont remember who is it.
"Oh i forgot to ask, what's you name Mr. Seo?" i asked in curiousity. "Oh right, i am Seo Ye Joon. You can call me yejun" he said smiling. I peeked at my husband who is silent so i immediately looked away and stop talking. "I should go now, i am going to meet a friend" i said to my husband.
"Okay, be careful. I'll wait for you at home" he coldly said and i left them. I shouldn't have done that. He's going to do it again. I ran back to my gallery since it is near at the restaurant. "Madam?!" The staffs said as i run towards my office and locked the door.
"He's going to kill me. I need to hide somewhere" i said to myself. I immediately contact my friend Ashley. "Hello?" she said.
"Ashley, c-can i s-stay there for t-tonight?" i asked. My whole body is shaking. Im so scared. I dont want to go home. "Sure, I'll pick you up at your gallery" she said and hung up. After a few minutes, ashley came to pick me up.
"Let's go?" she said so we went to her apartment. "Im so sorry if my place is a bit of messy. I didn't have time to prepare and clean" she said and i smile. "No, its okay. I should be the one who should appollogize" i said and both of us laughed.
"Why did you wanted to stay with me all of a sudden?" she asked that keep me quiet. "Are you having a hard time with Jaxson?" i let out a deep sigh when she mentions my husband's name
"Tsk tsk tsk, i told you before, right? why didn't you listen to me? Is he really that bad? What did he do to you?" she keeps questioning me then grab my arm. "Ouch!" i said in pain so she let go of me and rolled my sleeves up.
"Aya-" she said while tears keeps falling of her eyes. I wiped her tears that are continuously running off her eyes. "Dont cry. I should be the one who is crying, right?" i said and laugh but she flicked my forehead.
"Idiot, why did you marry that two faced CEO? We warned you about that" she said wiping her tears. I just smiled and said, "Maybe this is the consequence of what i did before". She hugged me again but suddenly the doorbell rang. "Maybe it was the pizza" she said so i stand up. "I'll go get it" i said and open the door and was surprised to what i saw...
