Chapter 23: Chapter 23: Demon's next destination
A month has passed since the wolf tide ended, the Gu Yue village returned to its peace and serenity and everything was going as usual.
Xun Shung's status is now firm, he is an authoritative figure in the clan, every young gu master in the village wants to be like him,many elders approached him for marriage with their granddaughters. The very next day he went to the caravan for selling his gu worms again, this time he sold, 8 rank 2 gu worms. The next day he did the same, but this time the caravan's gu master requested Xun Shung to wait for a moment.
Xun Shung 'gladly' accepted the offer and waited for around half an hour, then suddenly a secret door opened and Xun Shung was invited by the same gu master again.
He went inside the room and saw Jia Fu was sitting there.
Jia Fu : "esteemed elder of Gu Yue village, may I know what's your purpose behind all this?" saying so, Jia Fu focused his sight on a paper where a gu list could be seen. These were the gu worms, Xun Shung sold to the caravan in all these years. The starting years, the gu worms were simple but as the years progressed the gu worm's quality also increased.
Xun Shung also took a glance to the list, then he said with a smiling face "lord Jia Fu I don't know what you are implying by all this, what is the matter with this list?"
Jia Fu : "brother why act like you don't know the answer"
Xun Shung : "then brother Jia Fu why bother asking, when you already knew the answer"he replied with a smirk.
Jia Fu realized Xun Shung's meaning, he immediately ordered his assistant to bring "sparkling grace mist" and leave the two alone.
Jia Fu himself poured the wine for Xun Shung. Xun Shung tasted the wine, it was one hell of a wine, the sparkling grace mist was just like its name, it looked like water with star shaped bubbles in it. After it passes through the throat, it forms a mist inside the mouth which feels like morning dew.
Xun Shung: "lord Jia, it's amazing, I haven't drank something like this, where could I get it?"
Jia Fu: "brother, it's our Jia clan's speciality, you can't find this wine in other places, it brew naturally in our homeland, at the peak of the mist mountain, there lies nether trees, the morning dews that formed upon them in winters are fermented to make this sparkling grace mist wine"
Jia Fu then came to the important matters,
Jia Fu : "brother, you did all this just to meet me?, How can I 'Jia' Fu could help you?" He used 'Jia' as a reminder to Xun Shung, to show his powerful background and not to try anything funny.

Xun Shung : "offcourse brother, it is a rank 2 'liquor worm', it's ability is just like a normal liquor worm but it's applicable to a rank 2 gu master" Xun Shung didn't told him the right name as it's recipe is connected with the name.
Jia Fu was dumbfounded, he never heard about this thing before, he looks like a child who is waiting for his favourite candy at the moment.
He immediately asked a rank 2 gu master from his caravan and ordered him to use this gu,the effect was brilliant. The rank 2 gu master was able to get primeval essence of rank 2 upper stage with him being a middle stage gu master.

The other day, Jia Fu meet with clan head Gu Yue Bo to discuss about the matters, as today was the caravan's last day in Gu Yue village.
Gu Yue Bo: "brother Jia, Iam very happy that you chose someone from our village to be a temporary elder in your family, it's our Gu Yue village's fortune"
Jia Fu: "don't put me in difficult spot brother, Iam just doing what my father ordered me, Iam just completing his wish and as for Gu Yue Xun Shung, he is such an honest and talented person at such a young age he is very protective towards his responsibilities and clan"
About his 'visit' to the Jia clan, Jia Fu told Gu clan head that his father ordered him to choose some representatives for temporary elder position in their family, with this the tie between Gu clan and Jia family will get stronger in future that's why the clan head was more than happy with all this.
The next day, Xun Shung prepared for his departure and met Pion Tian before leaving, his younger brother was now 15 years old as well but even then he was crying at this moment, Xun Shung comferted him and 'promised' him that he will be back in a blink. After that he meet Jia Fu at the decided time.
Jia Fu: "brother Xun, are you ready?"
