*whimpering*
Izuku: "Why're you being so mean? You're making him cry Kacchan! If you keep on hurting him, uh...I'll, uh.....I'll stop you myself!"
Katsuki: "Hmph. You wanna pretend to be a hero? You don't stand a chance without a Quirk. Deku."
*gasps*
*BAM!*
Here's the sad truth. All men are not created equal. When I was four years old, I learned that some kids have more power than others. So I have learned to just accept it. Not completely though. I believed in All Might. With that small belief, I felt that I can become a hero! I just never knew that the cold truth would be spit back in my face, by my idol.
Izuku: "Wait, not yet. One second."
All Might: "No! I don't have any time."
Izuku: "I have to know!
Doctor: "Sorry, kid, it's not gonna happen."
Izuku's Mom: "I'm sorry, Izuku. I wish things were different."
Sometimes I do feel like I'm a failure, like there's no hope for me. But even so. I can't give up. Not yet...
Izuku: "Is it possible to become a hero, even if I don't have a Quirk? I'm a normal kid without any powers. Could I ever hope to be someone like you?"
All Might: "Without a Quirk?"
Izuku: "People think I don't have a chance. That not having powers makes me some kinda weakling. My classmates like to make fun of me. But you know what? That makes me wanna prove them wrong. Ever since I was a kid, I've thought that saving people is the coolest thing you can do. I want people to see my fearless—"
All Might: "Pro heroes are always having to risk their lives. Some villains just can't be beaten without powers. So, can you be a hero? Not without a quirk. Goodbye!"
Izuku: "WAIT!"
I didn't want to fall. Even after that blow. The thing that pushed as always, was Kacchan. The teacher had to help this time.
Teacher: "Oh yeah. Midoryia, don't you wanna go to UA, too?"
Izuku: "Uh—"
*Students Laughing*
"Midoryia? You're kidding, right?"
"There's no way you're getting into the hero course without a Quirk!"
What was I thinking...
Izuku: "Its just that I've wanted to be a hero since I was little. I may not have a Quirk, but I can still try my hardest, can't I?"
Katsuki: "You'd die in the exams! What makes you think you can be with the best of the best? Defenseless Izuku! This school is already crappy! You wanna embarrass it more by failing so hard!"
I stayed silent the rest of the day. I tried to run away with my hero notes when Kacchan caught me before I even left my desk.
Izuku: "Ah—"
Katsuki: "I dunno what you thinking you're doin', Deku, but we're not done."
"Watchu got? His diary?"
Izuku: "Uh..."
"Huh? Don't tell me you're taking notes on how to be a hero?
"That's so pathetic."
"He's delusional."
*Laughing*
Izuku: "Yeah, real funny, guys..... Just give it back."
Kacchan explodes the notes, right in front of me.
Izuku: "That's.....so mean...."
Katsuki: "Most first-string heroes show potential early on. People look at them and just know they're destined for greatness. When I'm the only student from this garbage junior high to get into UA, people'll start talkin' about me like that. They'll realize I'm legit, the next big thing. That's not ego talking. I just know I'm good."
"Ego...."
Katsuki: "Here's a little word of advice, nerd. Don't even think of applying. Or else."
*whimpers*
"That's just sad. I thought you at least had some fight in you. He finally gets it. He'll never be a hero. Better to find out now than instead'a later, I guess."
Katsuki: "Y'know, if you really wanna be a hero that badly, there actually might be another way. Just pray that you'll be born with a Quirk in your next life. Then take a swan dive off the roof of the building."
That finally made me snap. I thought I could at least try. But you know what? They're right. Better to find out now than later. I pulled out a letter I had already written and placed on my desk with my bag. I headed upstairs to the roof. I texted my mom what I was doing and that I loved her so much. That she did everything she could. But it wasn't enough.
Izuku's Mom
I drove reading the messages Izuku sent me. Hold on my baby. Please don't do it! I rush out of my car to see him on the roof getting ready to fall.
"IZUKU! NO!"
He fell.
All I could do was watch. When I was going to close my eyes a purple smoke surrounded him.
"OH MY GOODNESS! THANK YOU!"
I start to rush over and notice the guy wasn't putting Izuku down. Instead he opened a portal and vanished with my Izuku.
"Izuku.... NOOOOO!"
I immediately dialed 110.
"Hello?—"
"MY SON HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED!"
Izuku
I opened my eyes. Was I finally gone? I sat up. I was in a white room.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Izuku Midoriya."
"Wh—Who's there?"
"My name is All for One."
"Am I not dead?"
"No. I wanted to offer you a deal since you are at your wits end."
"Okay....? What kind of deal?"
"I'll give you whichever quirk you desire. As long as you pledge your loyalty, to me."
"You mean, I can have a quirk?"
"Yes."
"Then I can go to UA. I can work for you and—"
"Oh no my dear boy, I'm no hero."
"What?"
"I'm the former leader of the League of Villains."
"V-V-Villains?!"
"Yes. Either you come with us, receive a quirk or, we'll let you continue where you left off."
I thought about it. But not for long.
"If I can't be a hero, then I'll be the villain."
"Good choice."
