Chapter 31: Rest
I arrive in front of the Academy gate. I'm really happy to see it. I walk towards it, shows my Student ID Card to the guards and then walk in.
I see so many things that feels familiar.
"I'm glad to be back" I thought happily
I walk towards Student Affairs Hall. In Student Mission Area I kept looking around and of course mr Glenn Counter is empty so I walk to towards it.
"Hey, mr Glenn" (Rudeus)
"You are here Rudeus ? Seems like you safe huh. The mission for searching you is already been taken back" (Glenn)
"Search mission ?" (Rudeus)
"Yeah." (Glenn)
"I see. Well it's good to be back mr Glenn. So whose the one accept the mission ?" (Rudeus)
"Hmm.. your two friend and the other two which I don't know. After that some of other student accept it too." (Glenn)
"I see." then I thought "Maybe the one mr Glenn talk about is Grid and Darvan, for the other two.. Senior Dion and miss Velma maybe ? I'm not sure about it"
"Well I want to confirm that I'm already safe and back mr Glenn. So what do I need to do ?" (Rudeus)
"Ah.. yes, Please give me your Student ID Card and wait a minute." said mr Glenn and then he take something from the back
"Here" I give him my Student ID Card
"Ok, now drop your blood into this crystal" (Glenn)
"Huh.. well ok" I pin my finger and then drop my blood in the crystal
The crystal show my face and my information and then is dimmed again
"Ok. It's done. You can take your Student ID Card. Here" (Glenn)
"Thanks mr Glenn. So is that it ?" (Rudeus)
"Oh right, do you want to take the rewards from the rescue mission ?" (Glenn)
"Ah yeah I forget about it. I'm too happy just because I'm back. Well give me the rewards then." (Rudeus)
"Alright then, wait a minute" (Glenn)
Mr Glenn take my Student ID Card back and then take a few things from back
"Here, you can check everything" (Glenn)
"Oh wow. So is this he rewards ? All of it ?" (Rudeus)
"Yes." (Glenn)
"Thank you. But can you explain the rewards mr Glenn ?" (Rudeus)
"Ok. First you receive 5000 merit point and 200 gold. Second, you get 5 high grade health potion, 2 middle grade antidote and 1 high grade energy potion. Third, you get a 20% discount price ticket for armanents below silver grade and last, you get a free pass to use Student Peak Area for 1 hours" said mr Glenn with a lengthy explanation.
"Wow. I never thought the reward will be so much. I remember that the reward is not this high" (Rudeus)
"Yeah, the rewards is change because the report from your party. Because of it the Academy raise the difficulty to red star, two red star mission." (Glenn)
"I see. So there is nothing else right mr Glenn. I want rest my body" I said it and put everything in my pocket inventory
"Yes, there is nothing else. You can go back now and rest your body" (Glenn)
"Thank you then mr Glenn. Bye" (Rudeus)
"See you again Rudeus" (Glenn)
I buy my meal in the cafeteria and walk toward my room. When I arrive inside my room I really feels in home. Maybe because I'm almost die back then. I wash my body, eat my meal and then I go to sleep immediately. I'm not even thinking to do meditation. I just want to sleep
I don't know how long I've been sleep. I heard someone knock on my door and it wake me up.
"Knock.. knock.."
My eyes still sleepy then I said "Wait, I'm coming"
I open the door and see that Grid and Darvan in front of me
"Rudeus" (Grid)
"Hey, Grid. Hey, Darvan. Come in" I said sleepily and let them enter my room
Both of them enter and Grid immediately said "Are you okay Rudeus ? I heard you come back. I even ask mr Glenn about it but he said you need rest. But it's been two days already, so I'm worried something happen to you"
"What ? I sleep for two days ? I don't know that" I'm shock to hear what Grid said
"Yeah, that's why we've come here." Grid pointed at him and Darvan
"Sorry, I'm just too tired maybe. I don't know I will sleep that long. I'm fine though, so don't worry about it. Well, I'm quite hungry now." I apologize to them
"Hmm.. take this meal then. I bring it for you, knowing you sleep too long and maybe you need a food" Grid handed the meal
"Whoa... thank you Grid" I begin to eat in my desk
"So, you've come just to check on me ? Or you have something else too say." I look at them
"Nah, we just check on you. But what happen ? I already heard from Grid why you separate from the party. What happen after that ?" ask Darvan curiously
"Well the thing is.." I've told them everything. The place I wake up, many things I've seen, and how can I meet the adventure party. It's even more detailed then the one I said to miss Karen.
"Thank you for the meal." I said in the middle of explaining the story. When I've told them the story, Darvan keep saying 'Whoa, Awesome, Amazing' and Grid look at me weirdly time to time. Well can't be help though, It's real.
"Whoa.. you sure amazing Rudeus. Even survive that kind of assault. How powerful your body now ?" said Darvan amazed
"Nah, I'm just lucky. That's all. Well enough about me, what about the other ? Mr Glenn said you've been searching for me right." (Rudeus)
"Well yeah. Grid come to me when I just finished my training. He told me what happen and I agree immediately to searched for you. Even senior Dion and miss Velma join us. We've been searching for you for two days but nothing. And when we just want to go for the third time, the academy message us that you already back." (Darvan)
"I see. Sorry not to inform you all. I've really feels tired and need rest" I said with a sorry voice
"Nah, that's fine. It's good you are already back." (Darvan)
"Hey, Darvan are you not gonna back ? You want to do that right." said Grid suddenly
"Ah, right. Well I'm off then. See you then Rudeus." Darvan left my room
"See you too Darvan and thank you" (Rudeus)
"Yeah." (Darvan)
Me and Grid stare a few second and then he sigh
"Sigh.. seems like it will be fine huh. That's good" thought Grid
"What's wrong Grid ? Seems like you chased him away ? " I ask him curiously
"Hmm.. yeah. But I think it's fine now. So nothing to worry about" (Grid)
"Really ? You can told me you know." (Rudeus)
"Well, I already heard your story. You know the first thing what come to my mind ? If what you saying it's truth that mean it's impossible for you to live Rudeus." said Grid seriously
"Wha... ?" I'm surprise to heard it from him
He look at me and then said "So that means you gain something right from those life threatening situation."
He pause a bit then said "Something like an ability. An ability to resist the poison"
I'm really shock to heard it from him. My jaw is drop and my mouth is wide open.
