Chapter 12: Spikey Forks
The clock struck 12, indicating that its time for lunch. The sound of plates and cooking pans echoed as the smell of the food wafted around the dining area, Making their tummy growl.
"Oh my, sorry for that." Allyson blurted as she gave a peace sign. The rest just laughed it out since they knew how it feels.
Soon, The food was served by the servants. The menu is seafood since they are near the beach making them giggle in delight.
"Sorry if we keep you waiting, It's been a while since the last time we prepared this much. Hope you like it." Mang Kiko stated as he ordered the other servants to double time.
"Sorry? Mang Kiko, are you joking? This is seafood! You can't find it this fresh in the city." Harris exclaimed making all of them. chuckle.
"We get it, Gray. Now calm down and eat." Chris reprimanded. But it was too late cause Harris's mouth is already full of food.
"Allyson, Do you need anything?" Damien asked the blonde who is in front of him. Allyson got startled by the sudden approach.
"Oh, It's fine. I just need to come closer." Allyson replied, reaching out for the buttered shrimp beside Damien's spot.
Damien smiled and get the plate. "Here, Is this enough?" He asked as he put some to the blonde's plate.
Allyson nodded abruptly. "Yes, Thanks." Damien replied with a smile.
"Ahem." Harris coughed after swallowing his food. Damien turns to him. "Do you need water, Bro?" He asked.
Harris just stares at him. "Why don't you just mind your own business?" he thought. "Nah, It's fine. I'll get it myself." He replied with a fake smile.
"Here, eat slowly it's seafood. You might get indigestion if you didn't chew it properly." Allyson handed him a glass of water. Making him smirk at the man in front of him.
Lauren chuckled at the sight. As if she was watching a movie. She was about to eat a piece of shrimp when a fork blocks it.
She glared at the guy beside him. "Don't eat that if you don't want to spend the rest of the day in your room." Ethan remarked making her brows furrow.
"He's right, Lauren. You shouldn't eat that. Your allergy might trigger." Chris added.
"How did you know I'm allergic to shrimps?" She asked the guy beside him. Ethan just gave her a blank stare and replace the shrimps on her plate with meat instead.
"Just eat." He briefly said and just continue eating his food.
The brunette shakes her head in disbelief. When she returns her gaze at them. They are all staring at her with a smirk on their lips.
"Sana all." Anne blurted making them all laugh. While Lauren was confused with a big question mark on her head.

"Hey, Ethan! over here!" Harris shouted as he calls for the ball. Ethan passed the ball to Harris, The boy didn't waste time and spiked the ball to the other side.
Damien tried to catch it, But unfortunately, the ball landed on the sand, making him fall.
"Yeah! Another point for us." Harris exclaimed but Ethan just nodded.
The boys decided to play volleyball when they saw a net. "Yah! Why can't we join?" Lauren asked. "Because." Ethan replied.
"Because what?" Lauren asked again. Ethan turns to her with his usual poker face. "Just because." and took the ball from her.
"Al, I'm so bored!" Lauren complained to Allyson who is busy taking pictures with Anne. "What?" The blonde asked.
"Don't we have anything else to do, besides taking pictures?"
Anne chuckled. "Hmm, What about we leave the boys?" She suggested, Forming a devilish smirk to the other. "Where are we going?" Lauren asked.
Allyson clings to her arm. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll like it there." She whispered and turns to Rachel watching the waves.
"Rachel Unnie! Come on, let's go!" Anne called her. "Huh? Aren't we gonna tell them?" She asked as she moves closer.
"Nah, let them be. That's what they get for not letting us join." Allyson stated.

The sun is almost set and the sweat coming from their pores keep running. But they look hot even if the sky is almost dark.
"Damien, Block that!" Chris ordered which he immediately obliged. The ball was about to land but Ethan caught it and hit it upwards. Making it easier for Harris to hit it to the other side.
Damien blocked it again, But Harris offensively hit it.
The duo became a single play. Ethan and Chris were just watching and waiting for who will be the last man standing.
"Hmph!" Harris blocked. Damien didn't hit it. Instead, receive it for him to make a tough spike.
Harris didn't expect the sudden technique, So as the human body normally does. He avoids the ball making it land.
"Yeah! We won!" Damien exclaimed as he gave a high five to Chris who is waiting at the side.
Harris flips over, making him look at the sky. "Hey, Dummy! Nice game." Ethan said but the latter didn't spare a glance.
Harris is still panting by the game. He closes his eyes to rest. "Ackk!" He exclaimed when a bottled water landed on his chest.
"Yah! When will you learn to give properly?" He complained but the latter just ignored him and walk towards the other team.
"Hey, Ethan, nice game." Damien stated, His right hand hanging. Ethan playfully hit it with water. "Yeah, You got me hella tired."
"Hyung! Yah! wake up." Ethan shakes Chris's body when he saw him lying on the sand, eyes closed.
"Ouch! What was that for?!" Ethan complained when he received a head smack from the older.
"That's for overreacting." He replied and goes back to his position.
Ethan stands up with hurt feelings. He heard Damien laugh. So he turns to him with a glare. "Chill, Dude." He defended.
"Ahm, Guys?" Damien called out for them. They just hummed in unison. "Where are the girls?" He added, Making them all stand up from their pace.
Chris looks around to see no one but the servants. "Rachel! Lauren! Where are you?!" He shouted but no one came?
"Harris, try calling them." Chris doesn't have to say it. It's automatic for them to reach out immediately.
"The number you are calling is out of coverage area... please try your call later."

After a few try. Still no answer. "Chris, Even Anne is not picking up my calls." Damien informed. You can see the concern in his eyes.
Chris sighed. "Where the heck are they?" He said, Still hoping Rachel might pick his calls.
