Chapter 3: Max And Jessica
After Luna's episode, Max and Jessica get rushed back home by Maria.
"Did we really have to cause that Jessica?" said Max.
"You know what the demon lord would do to us if we didn't," said Jessica.
"I just feel bad pretending to be her friend just to use her powers against the angels," said Max.
"It's our job, get over it Max," said Jessica.
Suddenly a dark figure appeared behind max.
"The demon lord awaits you," said the mysterious shadow.
In Luna's place after the incident with John, her aunt told her the circumstances of her birth. She's actually a half-demon half-angel hybrid. Those two clans have been at war for centuries. After finding out this news she gets angry at her aunt for hiding her heritage from her. Luna goes out for a walk to think about what she was told.
Back in the demon lord's domain, Jessica is reporting to her superiors on what transpired with Luna's transformation. Max is contemplating if he should go thru with the demon lords plan to use Luna to fight the war. After that Max gets a text from Luna saying to go to her favorite spot in the mountain by her parent's tomb with Jessica.
They both arrive and see Luna laying down on the grass next to a tree with a nice view of the city. they both decide to sit next to her to talk.
"What happened back there Star," said Jessica.
"Do you guys think you can keep a secret?" said Luna.
"Star we literally saw you get a dagger out of nowhere that you used to hospitalize your uncle. We haven't told anyone so far so I think we can keep a secret" said Max.
"That's a good point what don't we know Star," said Jessica
"I am what some people call a Nephilim, a hybrid between a demon and an angel, my aunt thinks parents were killed trying to protect me from someone that thought I was impure," said Luna.
"come here Star it looks like you need a hug," said Max.
"I think we all need a hug today after that," said Jessica.
While they all hug Jessica comes up with the idea for them to help Luna understand her powers with the intent of using it against the angels in the war.
