Chapter 14: NATHAN'S
The sound of my blaring alarm wakes me up. After doing my morning routine, I head downstairs towards the kitchen.
‘’Good morning!’’ Baby mum shouts acknowledging my presence, while she was making the breakfast,
‘’Argh, how are you so loud and chirpy this early morning’’ yes, I am not a morning person.
‘’well, baby, it’s noon already’’ she says pointing towards the digital clock attached to the fridge
I gasp, that’s not what I expected, ‘’where are Anj and Pete?’’ I ask,
‘’They already had their breakfast and were watching Netflix. While watching both of them have sound fully fallen asleep and are snoring now’’ she says with an amused expression and I laugh in response
‘’ didn’t you eat your breakfast’’
‘’Nope, I was waiting for you and I was not hungry until now’’ I smile at her
Grabbing my plate full with toast, bacon, and fruit salad I sat at the dining table along with Baby mum beside me
‘’so how was the party yesterday?’’ she asks in an excited tone, taking a bite from her plate.
‘’it was good’’ I say shrugging
‘’good?’’ she asks with a frown
‘’no, I mean it was amazing! I enjoyed it, a lot, made new friends. Ya that’s it’’ I lie. It was sooooo boring! Hey, at least the new friends part was true I did make new friends.
‘’see I told you!’’ she says with a victory smile and I check my phone to see if I have any message, which was there obviously from three individuals,

She was most definitely drunk after the text was her voicemail
Emily: ‘’Baaaaaabe, yo-you left me!! I am crying I don’t know why and this Jace here, he-he’s behaving like my freaking bodyguard he-he’s not allowing me to dance with those hotties there’’
‘’okay enough(Jace's voice) hey Katherine, I hope you have reached home safe and I hope I can reach my home as early as possible but seeing this crazy drunk woman I don’t think it’s possible’’

‘’umm, one of my friends was facing problems with their homework so he asked me to help him. I won’t eat lunch so don’t wait for me also I don’t know how much time it might take’’
‘’So this friend of yours is a boy?” she asks with a sly grin
‘’yeah’’ I say shrugging understanding where she is taking this to
‘’So is this a study date?’’ she says with a smirk wiggling her eyebrows

‘’I just wanna know my baby is safe outside in this deserted world if you are going out alone’’ innocently batting her eyelashes

‘’well, there’s nothing really, I know about him, except for the fact that his name is Christian Jones, he’s the quarterback of our football team and he’s the school’s bad boy aka plays with every girl’s heart’’

‘’neah, okay gotta go. Before you start questioning more’’ I got up and run upstairs
‘’wait, how did you guys meet?” I heard before shutting the door. Now that’s a question I would rather not answer.
After showering I wore a black tank top, white denim shorts, and maroon jacket on top. I wore my black ankle-length boots and head downstairs. I greeted Anj, Pete, and Baby mum in the living room and bid them goodbye not before convincing a whining Angelina that I would make up for not spending my weekend with her. I head towards my SUV and started its engine.
I stop in front of house 897 of green view street. I hopped out of my car and locked it. I head towards the door and rang the doorbell. I could hear a lot of shuffling and noises coming from the other side of the door. Did he send me the wrong address? Or did I get In the wrong address? Blocking all my thoughts I reached to ring the bell once more and at the same time the door flew open with a girl in red lingerie. Who was none other than Nick herself? For some reason, she had a smirk on her face
‘’who’s there?’’ a masculine voice asked and came in front shirtless was none other Christian. Rolling my eyes I didn’t know what to do
‘’hi? I thought you wanted help for your homework’’
‘’Yeah. Right! Okay you gotta leave Nick, I have some important homework to do’’ he said feigning a frown
‘’yeah but we will finish our remaining work’’ she told him seductively
‘’I don’t think so’’ he said quietly but was loud enough for my ears to hear,
I tried to suppress a giggle but it came out
‘’what’s so funny nerd?’’ Nick asked anger boomed in her voice
‘’nothing. I just remembered a joke’’ I say by raising my hands in surrender
‘’stay the fuck away from him!’’ she says venomously but quiet enough for only me to hear it.
‘’he’s all yours’’ I say rolling my eyes
‘’Then we are in good terms’’ she says with a fake smile ‘’goodbye baby’’ she says kissing his cheeks and gets out of the house.
‘’come in’’ he grumbles and goes inside. After coming inside I take in the view of his house it classy themed with white and black and all the show-pieces were dripping their expense. He might be hella rich.

‘’liking what you see?” Christian says with a smirk. My cheeks turn into a shade of red,
‘’ anything that makes you sleep at night’’ I scoff and tell
‘’you are telling me you have seen better than this?’’ he asks raising his eyebrows and pointing his body
‘’yeah, obviously’’ I say rolling my eyes and his facial expression turns in to a frown
‘’whose?’’ he asks clenching his jaws. Maybe saying his body is not that good angered him.
