Chapter 1: Prologue

In a slightly cold day in the middle of the winter break

"..." *Twitch* "..."
"Hey! D, did she just move?" (???)
"Yes, I think she just did! Hey! Can you hear me? If so, try to open your eyes" (??? 2)
Open... My eyes?... *Slowly open her eyes* ...
"We did it!!!" (??? 2)
"All those all-nighters making the magical circuits finally paid off!!! *Sobbing in joy*" (??? 1)
"..."
"Ah! Sorry about that, I'm Leonardo Rossi, the president and main engineer of the magic technologies study club who built you" (Leonardo)
"And I'm Jack Williams, the magical circuit designer who always lacks sleep" (Jack)
"Both of us, and some of the other guys worked together to build you, so how about you try to introduce yourself? I know you can do it *Friendly smile*" (Leonardo)
"... ... ... I am Automated Magical Golem model 1 of the Alpha series, is there anything I could do for you, creator Leonardo?" (Leonardo
"You're a quick learner, huh. And no there isn't I want you to do for me right now... Hmm... Automated... Magical... 1... And Alpha... Hmmm... For now, I'll call you automata A1, and call you by A1, is that alright?"
"Acknowledged... From now I will attend by the nickname A1" (A1)
"Hmmm... *Troubled face* Since you're fine with it, I think it's fine then, what about you Jack?" (Leonardo)
"Me? I think it's better for her to pick a name herself, but for now, that's alright, since we all suck at naming things" (Jack)
"Yeah, you're right. Well, for now, I think we should tell the others that she woke up and start teaching her some things" (Leonardo)
"Absolutely, we can't have our daughter completely clueless to everything" (Jack)
"Then let's go call everybody and throw a party for our daughter!" (Leonardo)
"Oh yeah!" (Jack)

The two then called all their club members to commemorate their daughter finally waking up ever since they started their project of building her a year ago
Some time later, late into the night
"*Yawn* I shouldn't have drunk so much water before sleeping... Hm?" (Leonardo)
when he passed by the workshop in his parent's house, he noticed that there was a faint light coming from underneath the door, he slowly opened the door and in there he saw his daughter in sleep mode as she recharged herself with piles of books near her, and a closed book in her lap
"*Happy sigh*... She's really following our advice of learning more, huh"
He only turned off the light so that he wouldn't wake her up and left the workshop
About a week for the end of the spring break
"Dude! There's one thing we forgot to do for our daughter!" (Jack)
"And what is it?" (Leonardo)
"We forgot to buy more clothes for her and to matriculate her at our school!!!" (Jack)
"Ah! *drops whatever he was holding with a surprised pik*chu face* That's true... ... ... A1!" (Leonardo)
"?... Yes, how can I help you, creator Leonardo?" (A1)
She who was cleaning and organizing the club room, because the boys were horrible at cleaning, put down a box she was carrying and approached Leonardo and stopped at a decent distance from him
"Hand out one of your hands" (Leonardo)
"Like this? *Puts out one of her hands as if she's about to receive something*" (A1)
"Yes" (Leonardo)
Then Leonardo got up, raised his hand, and slapped his wallet right at her hand and held it there
"I want you to go outside and use my money to buy any clothes that catch your attention" (Leonardo)
"... Understood" (A1)
She respectfully bowed down and left the club room while carrying Leonardo's wallet that was filled with fat notes of cash (A/N Notes: Wish that my wallet was like that)
Some time later
She was walking down a street near a public park when suddenly two kids passed running in front of her making her fall
"..." (A1)
Then a boy appeared just right after the kids
"Hey! What I said to not go running on the street! Ah! Sorry for them, I'm playing hide-n-seek with those kids over there" (???)
"... I understand..." (A1)
"Do you need help getting up?" (???)
"..." (A1)
The boy was still offering her a hand as she kept quiet
"... Yes, thank you..." (A1)
"You're welcome!"
And he helped her get up, and right after that he went after the kids
"Alright, you brats here I come!" (???)
She stood still in place as she observed the 16-year-old boy playing with the kids, as he got soaked in water magic, in the park for a few moments before resumed her walk
Some hours later
"Ah! You're back! Did you buy anything that caught your interest... I can see that it's a no" (Leonardo)
"..." (A1)
She had come back the same way she left, with only the clothes she was already wearing and Leonardo's wallet
7th of April, the first day of school
The school ceremony had already finished, and she was already inside her classroom seating at her desk in a straight position and with her eyes closed. Her beautiful appearance attracted the gazes of many boys and from some girls too. Then the teacher came in making everyone look forward
"Alright, everyone please introduce yourselves starting from there" (Teacher)
Then one by everyone, the students got up and introduced themselves until it was time for her to introduce herself, and she got up and introduced herself
"I am automata A1, short for Automated Magical Golem model 1 of the Alpha series, and nicknamed A1, by Creator Leonardo president of the magic technologies study club of this school, that is all I have to say" (A1)
She bowed and sat down, the other students were surprised at everything she just said
Weeks later
"Please go out with me!" (Random student)
"... Why are you asking me to go out with you?..." (A1)
She had an emotionless face as she asked the boy that
"H, huh!? E, eeeeermmm... B, because I like you..." (Random student)
"... But why do you like me?..." (A1)
"E, eeeerrmmm... B, because of your looks..." (Random student)
"... So you are saying that you are attracted to my outside appearance and nothing more?..." (A1)
"Just answer my proposal already!!!" (Random student)
"... Acknowledged... My response is no... And the reason is that you are not a subject of interest and would only hinder my learning capabilities with unnecessary meddling of your part, such as-..." (A1)
"I get it already! You're really cold-hearted!!!" (Random student)
The boy ran away from there leaving her there...
"... Cold-hearted?... What does that mean?..." (A1)
With question marks on top of her head
Some time later
"A1... Do you have any idea of what you have been doing since you became a high schooler?" (Leonardo)
"Affirmative... I have been studying and searching for any new information that I still haven't archived... As you had tasked me to do..."
"Yes, it's true that I said that... BUT I ALSO SAID FOR YOU TO TRY TO BE A "NORMAL" HIGH SCHOOL GIRL!!! So you just can't go turning down everyone saying that they don't interest while calling them subjects! Do you know how sad this makes me whenever I hear someone calling you the ice-hearted automata???" (Leonardo)
"... Negative..." (A1)
"Of course you don't... Just for curiosity, how many guys have you turned down?" (Leonardo)
"... 56, including the one from today..." (A1)
"... Also, why did you join the health committee?" (Leonardo)
"Because of my proficiency in healing magic and first aid techniques for taking care of any injuries that the club members here might receive during their experiments, that it turned into the most logical choice of the other alternatives that were showed to me..." (A1)
<That's why a bunch of guys are asking you out!?> "Haa... A1, could at least try to create feeling with someone in the school?" (Leonardo)
"What do you mean, creator Leonardo?" (A1)
"I mean for you to make friends, like someone, fall in love, you know?" (Leonardo)
"... Negative..." (A1)
"Huh?... Well, then let me try this, at least try to gain some interest in anyone in the school" (Leonardo)
"... Then are you saying that having an interest in someone is the same as falling in love with that person, is that what you meant, creator Leonardo?..." (A1)
"Huuuuuuhhh... Not really, but yeah, sure think something like that, yes" (Leonardo)
"Then I recommend you to give me another task, creator Leonardo... As all the subjects in this school have predictable variables of their possible outcomes" (A1)
"Then... Just try to get along with everyone, please" (Leonardo)
"Understood..." (A1)
And she left the club room
"Haa... Really, what do I do with this daughter of ours" (Leonardo)
She for the rest of the year would only end up inadvertently cementing her title of 'Ice-hearted automata'
1 year later, the last day of spring break
She was in the school infirmary, due to her duties as a member of the health committee, then when the clock marked that her turn was over, she got up from the chair she was sitting and left towards the magic technologies study club to clean it, but then she walked into one of the corridor corners she was called by someone
"Excuse me! Do you know where the cafeteria is?" (???)
"?... Are you a visitor?..." (A1)
(A/N Notes: At least I didn't have to do a lot of changes from there to here in this chapter)
