Chapter 12
~~~~~~~~ IAN'S POV ~~~~~~~~~
I woke up and sat up, my stomach was growling as if I haven't eaten in forever. I got up and headed to the kitchen. I made toast with some strawberry jam and drank some apple juice.
I woke up at 6 so I could go on a morning run. School doesn't start till 7:30 so I should have enough time to come back and shower. I put on some basketball shorts and some underarmour running shoes. I grabbed my wallet incase I want to buy a water or something, phone and earphones then left.
I put on my earphones and began to stretch after a good stretch I began to jog. I looked at the forest where it makes contact with the sky. The sun rise. It was beautiful with a mix of warm colors starting to invade the cool ones.
My heavy metal music booming in my ears motivating me to run faster. I reached three miles an decided to kept going until I reached a near by park, I followed the side walk. There was two ways one leading to the neighborhood and the other the boundary between the park and the forest. So I took the second one that way I can go around the park and make my way back to the house.
I saw something move in the forest, I took my earphones off and slowed down. I finally stopped and analyze my surroundings, I heard a growl and immediately knew it was a rouge.
Shit I should have brought my backpack. I keep some weapons there. But I grabbed my earphones, and pushed a little button that transforms them into a long silver chain with spikes. I made Nolann make if for me since I always carry earphones. What can I say I love music and hunting why not combine both. I also had allot of them incase I brake them when fighting.
I called Naí incase there might be more rouges in the area, might need assistance.
A bronze wolf comes to view showing me his canines. He circles around me analyzing his every move. The rouge lounges at me but I doge it and whip my chain around his neck just in time. I garb the other end of the chain as I get on top of him. I tighten the chain and he whimpers and gave a loud growl. But I didn't care, one of us was going to die and it was not going to be me.
He moves trying to get me off of him. I fall to the ground never letting the rouge go. I finally snap his neck, his muscles relax and I let go.
He turns back into his human form and I grab my phone from my phone holder on my arm.
I need to call her and tell her im fine. I put his body in the forest then ran as fast as i could back home to get the hunters ash. The hunters ash is a soil like powder that we use to get rid of a body. Its kind of like burning it but not with fire, it uses its own body heat and burns itself from the inside out. It usually takes three minutes.
I reach home and call Naí back again and told her im fine. Her voice seemed weird she might have been talking to someone.
I went to the camera room and zoomed in the park at the area I was attacked. Dylan was there near the body, so where some other members of the pack already getting rid of it.
How did he know? Was all I could think about and better yet. What em I going to say to cover my story?
I went to take a quick shower and then changed. Some black blue jeans and a yellow shirt, with some Jordan retro 14s black and yellow. I rushed down to the garage, hoped on my Audi TT and made it to the school in record time. I saw the time and realized that I was about five minutes late so I didn't rush to my first period.
'Mr. Boyd you finally decide to join the class, please take a seat' My math teacher says with a little sarcasm.
I take a seat next to a blond guy, he seems nerdy but he also seems like a cool person. We worked on an assignment together, it turns out his name is Lucas and he was pretty cool.
After a long time, well it was only 40 minutes which felt like for eeeeevvvvveeeerrrr. God I hate school.
Second period went pretty fast and next was English with Naí, and the alpha the beta and some other wolfs.
I was the first one there so I went to take a seat on the back right corner. Soon enough I saw a few students enter the classroom. And then my dear friend and partner in crime, Naí accompanied by Eilijah all smiling and laughing. Somehow I feel this anger towards him and I give him a death glare. Im pretty sure he noticed but I don't care I've taken down alphas bigger than him.
Naí makes her way towards me, sits on the desk besides me, and whispers 'where where you? I was worried something bad might have happened to you' Eilijah made his way over sitting next to Naí on the other side.
"Can we not talk about this now? I'll tell you everything when we get home."
'Alright' she nods. The twins and Megan enter the class.
"So whats up with you two?" I ask with curiosity making Eilijah turn his head in my direction.
'What do you mean?' Naí asks as if she knows nothing.
"You know all the giggling, blushing and touching" I look at both of them with allot of curiosity.
'What?! Chase drop it. Eilijah and I are just friends'
"Sure just friends" I say annoyed and with allot of sarcasm.
''Can't Rou have friends Chase?'' He says referring to Naí. I feel bad for him if he likes Naí. If he finds out we're hunters we are going to have to kill him.
"She can Eilijah, Rou can have friends, its just that, I like to see for myself which friends are worth her time" I state sending him a glare.
The class begins and soon enough ends and I storm out. I dont know why it made me mad that Naí is socializing with Eilijah. She's like a little sister to me and I don't like the idea of her with guys.
The rest of the day was slow and honestly killing me. On my way to my car the same guy from first period approached me.
'Hey, its Chase right?'
"Yeah whats up?"
'I have a party tonight at my house and you are welcome to come if you like' Well a party is not that bad of an idea. And it would be a chance to see if there are any vamps. Vamps like to party and being a friday night they would love to make a party theirs.
"Thanks man I'll try to make it" I say hoping into my car. And drive off.
I went to a cafe near the house. Once I entered I could see some werewolf girls sitting on the table near the counter. I dont think they have mates yet because they keep eyeing me up and down.
I make my way to the counter and order a coke not really in the mood for anything else. The blond girl handed me the coke and once I payed I went and sat at the back.
I opened the coke and took a big swing , pulled out my phone and checked the perimeter of our house and checked up on Naí. She was making her way back home.
I finished my drink and as I made my way to the door one of the werewolf girls got in front of me. I cant deal with this now I need to talk to Naí about what happened.
'Hey im Lynn whats your name?'
"Chase"
'Well Chase today's your lucky day here's my number call me sometime' She says with a smile
I smile back "thanks"
'You are VERY welcome' With that she goes back and sits down with her friend.
I look at her one more time and realize she's not that bad don't seem like your typical slut ether.
I leave the cafe and hop on my car making my way back home.

Today was very tense, first Eilijah then Ian and Dylan.
Ian was nowhere to be found in lunch and his act in second period, what was that all about. And Dylan kept looking at me with a worried expression. My guess is that they are worried about the rouge that attacked Ian. They worry that their secret is exposed and they are supposed to kill Ian. But I will not let that happen, never, if someone is killing Ian is me and nobody else. Just because I've known his annoying self a long time, if anyone has the right to kill him it will be me, after making a big speech of history since he hates that subject.

I exit out of the school and headed to my KTM when someone hugged me from behind. I instantly knew who it was judging my the size of the shadow and the sweet smell.
"Hello Eilijah"
'How did you know it was me?' I just rolled my eyes at his question.
"By your shadow and your smell" I simply stated.
'Wow beautiful and smart. And I have a smell?' I giggled at his response.
"Yes you do, but im not complaining because its quite nice actually" We reached my bike and he finally let me go which just hurt for some reason.
'Well I'm glad' He gave me a smile. I got on my bike.
'Hey Rou listen, I need to speak to you and Chase, you think you can come over to my house today?' Well of course he wanted to know if it really was Ian and what he saw.
"Yeah sure what time?"
'At twelve'
"Sure thing, ill make sure Chase comes" I was about put on my helmet.
'What? No goodbye kiss? Not even a hug?' He pouted like a baby which was so adorable. WAIT WHAT?!?! NO!!!, NAÍ DOES NOT SAY OR DO ADORABLE!!!
"Well no. You are not my boyfriend so therefore no kiss for you." His eyes looked hurt and that made my heart hurt.
"But I will hug you though" I got off my bike and put my arms around his neck, he put his arms around my waist and pulled me close. His skin touched mine, shivers ran through my spine and that damn pain in my back started again. What is up with that? That pain is getting annoying.
We where standing there for a while till I decided to speak up.
"You do know that I have to go, right?"
'Yeah, my bad' he let go and I was already missing his touch. I got on my bike and turned it back on, put my helmet on and drove away. The whole time he was just staring at me with his arms crossed around his chest.
I got an alert that there was an intruder in our premises and broke into the house.
I rushed home, when I got there I parked my bike and slammed the door open. There was an unconscious Ian being carried by a werewolf. That same one held up a gun and shot me three times. My eyes began to change only letting me see red. I ran towards him, he shot me another four times. I heard a loud bang, that was the last thing I remember before everything went black.
