Chapter 459: Plot Twist
The explosion was so huge that other Pokemons and the trainer also took notice of it. But nobody gave it much attention as the battle was happening everywhere.
'Meg, if both of them are dead, then go and help Mamoswine.', said Axel telepathically.
Axel may not be able to see the fate of these 2 Pokemon but Nidoking could. It was near those 2 Pokemons and it had heightened senses. So, it nodded its head and went to help Mamoswine.
'Mamoswine, Meg is coming to help. Now you can go offensive.'
Axel communicated his thoughts to Mamoswine.

Light has killed Kingler. Move capture has been activated.
It has learned, 'Water bullets'

'Oh, that is good news.'
He looked at Alakazam and it was hurt. It didn't have any serious injuries but these 'Water bullets' had wounded it in multiple parts of its body.

Axel heard a loud and painful cry from Beedrill. He looked around and found that Beedrill was seriously injured. Its face and its body were badly swollen and there were multiple wounds on its body.
Axel was surprised. Beedrill was the one who had the most health and defense on his team. It was more bulkier than Nidoking and Mamoswine. What must have happened for it to be so injured?
Axel saw the condition of Golduck and Mankey and they were in bad shape.
'Venusaur, immediately use 'Leech whip' and start to heal Beedrill. Light is coming for help', shouted Axel telepathically.
Alakazam was also not in its top position but it looked like Golduck and Primeape had used their full power on Beedrill. They were totally out of stamina.
Alakazam took the responsibility of facing those 2 while Beedrill was healing Venusaur.
"Agatha, what is your situation?", asked Axel in walkie talkie.
"I am able to dispose of those tier 3 king rank Pokemons and also some of the tier 2 king rank Pokemons. But these 2 Gengars was difficult to handle.", said Agatha.
"Ok, continue on. If you need any help tell me.", said Axel.
Axel was keeping repeated tabs on all those who were fighting against king-rank Pokemons. Till now, there had been no deaths of king-rank Pokemons for their side and he hoped that it continued on.

After 30 minutes,
Nidoking and Alakazam were able to do their helping job and Golduck, Primeape, and Dugtrio had been killed.
Axel immediately called out Beedrill and Alakazam. It looked like both of them were seriously injured. That Primeape was one son of a bitch. Before dying, it used its ultimate move and was able to also hurt Alakazam.
Alakazam was now in a worse condition than Beedrill. Beedrill had high defense and health but Alakazam didn't have that. Axel told it to use 'Recover' and called them back.
He immediately told the nurses to take care of them. He knew that now they could not help him in this battle but they had done their job.
'Mamoswine, you go and help other pseudo-king rank Pokemons. Join the team.'
Other Pokemon of Axel were helping in pseudo-king rank raid. Mamoswine had completed its job. Axel told it to focus on other pseudo-king rank Pokemons but first, he told it to rest for 10 minutes.
It had fought with a king-rank Pokemon. That was a huge thing for a pseudo-king rank Pokemon.
Nidoking was also told to rest for 20 minutes. It had defeated 3 king-rank Pokemons. It was not badly hurt. It had some minor injuries but those would not affect its battle capability. However, it had consumed a lot of stamina. So, it needed its rest.
Axel had told Steelix to go easy on its target. It was facing 2 electric type Pokemons and it was immune to electric type moves. Axel told them to go easy to them cause he wanted to save Steelix's stamina.
But it had been fighting for 40 minutes and now it was time to speed things up.
Electrode had already died by that time and Electabuzz was in a critical situation.
'Steelix, finish the battle and help Gogoat and Venusaur. They need some help.'
Venusaur was in perfect health. It had many healing moves and Gogoat was the one taking most of the hits. However, Gogoat's condition was not as good as Venusaur's. It also had some healing moves but none of them were as good as Venusaur. It had only been able to battle for such a long time due to its healing moves and Venusaur's 'Leech whip'.
Steelix used 'Sand trap' and dealt with Electabuzz.
It was dead.
It then moved towards Gogoat and started to help them. Now, Poliwrath and Slowbro had to face 2 king-rank Pokemons and 1 pseudo-king rank Pokemons. They were at a disadvantage now.
'Gogoat, Venusaur, use 'Sunny day' and fire up 'Solar beam' to Poliwrath. Also, use 'Field control' to bind Slowbro'
Axel had given his command. It was now time to finish this battle too.
Poliwrath was the one who was most hurt by this battle. Slowbro might be slow but it had its psychic moves and 'teleport' to dodge the attack.
Axel wanted Slowbro to be restricted so that Steelix could deal with it. Axel had specifically told Gogoat and Venusaur to not use 'Field control' till now. This was done due to Slowbro.
Unlike other Pokemons, Slowbro was very intelligent. It was also co-ordinating with Poliwrath. That had made the battle even harder. He wanted to finish Slowbro first but that was a risk. So, he first targeted Poliwrath.
3 balls of light flew in the air and it started to expand. It started to get really hot which decreased the powers of water type moves too. This was 'Sunny day'.
Then 3 beams of yellow light came crashing down to Poliwrath. Poliwrath didn't even have the slightest idea of what was happening. It tried to use its pre-domain to block the attack but the attack was simply too fast. It imploded and a large BOOOOM could be heard.
Meanwhile, Steelix came rushing down Slowbro. It had already used 'Sandstorm' and 'Sand hardening' and it used 'Screech' which drastically decreased the defense of Slowbro and then it used 'Heavy slam' which crushed Slowbro to a pulp.
Axel was surprised that Slowbro was still alive. He took out a master ball and threw it towards Slowbro

Slowbro was caught.
Axel then told Venusaur to bring the ball to him and he put it in his pocket. He had been thinking of catching it when he first saw him. Normally, wild Pokemon who participate in the tide don't follow the orders of the trainer even if they were caught but Slowbro was different.
Axel could see that it was very calm and it was using its head during the battle. So he thought that if he could convince it logically, then it would agree to be part of his team. If it didn't then, he would just kill it.
Tide was brutal. It was to kill or to be killed. Axel had learned his lesson a long time ago and he was not going to hesitate.
Gogoat, Venusaur, and Steelix came near Axel. Axel realized that Gogoat was also injured and it was not a normal injury. He immediately told the nurse to take a look at it and the nurse said that it was out of danger but it had to rest for 10 days before it could fight properly.
Now, 3 of Axel's 5 king-rank Pokemons were not able to battle and only 2 of them could contribute now.
This was not good news. He looked around and found out that Kurt's and Clair's tier 2 king-rank Pokemons were in a difficult situation. Both of them had some grave injuries and they were being pushed back.
'Meg, Steelix, now you go and help them. Try to finish the battle as fast as you can. Then rest for some time before going again.'
Axel had successfully dealt with 10 king-rank Pokemons. That was a huge achievement for someone who recently had king-rank Pokemons.
Lance could see what Axel had achieved and he was jealous. He was also participating in the tide but since he didn't have any king rank Pokemons, he was dealing with pseudo-king rank Pokemons and he was having difficulty in that too.
He vowed himself to train even harder after this tide.

Axel was able to deal with 10 king-rank Pokemon in an hour but others were not able to do it so fast. Almost all of them were still fighting with their enemies.
The battle went on for the entire night. Axel also told his Pokemons to go slow and easy now. It was good to finish the battle faster but this was war, not a battle. They still had to deal with millions of Pokemons before the tide was over.
Every single soldier in the north zone had participated in this battle. It was the biggest battle Axel had ever seen.
By 7 a.m, all the tier 1 and tier 2 Pokemons were dealt. The war had gone for 10 straight hours and it was not a slow war. Even though Axel wanted it to go slow, they had to deal with millions of wild Pokemons and the numbers were not on their side.
7 tier 2 king-rank Pokemons were still left to deal with. Those 2 pseudo-champion rank Gengars were still not dead.
Agatha had lost a lot in this battle. She had lost 2 tier 2 king-rank Pokemons. That was a huge loss. It took a lot of time to groom them and the emotions that she shared with them. All of them were gone.
Fortunately, Axel had not lost any of his Pokemons and he was repeatedly thanking Arceus for it. However, almost all of them were seriously injured and were in extensive care.
Only Nidoking and Venusaur were battle-ready now. Mamoswine was also seriously injured. He wanted it to rank up to king rank but that would take some time now.
Almost all of the king-rank Pokemons of other trainers were also seriously injured. That was why the battle was getting slow now.
Thankfully, they had completely dealt with elemental-rank Pokemons. This most happened due to Nidoking and Steelix. After both of them helped Kurt and Clair's Pokemons, they went on a rampage to kill elemental rank Pokemons.
They were king rank Pokemons and they were dealing with elemental ranks. Elemental-rank Pokemons were like a fly for Nidoking and Steelix.
Of 500k pseudo-king rank Pokemons, almost all of them were dealt with and only 5k were left. All these 5k were also seriously injured and they would be dealt with within a few hours.
However, the condition of soldiers was also not good. A lot of them had died. Some of them had been disabled and most of them were injured. Axel didn't want to count the number of casualties right now but his head was spinning on that topic.
After 5 hours, with the help of all of their efforts, those 7 tier 2 king-rank Pokemons were also killed and now Axel could take a long breath.
Pseudo-king rank Pokemons were also mostly dealt with and the remaining were starting to run. None of them chased those running Pokemons cause they didn't have that much energy to fight another battle.
Now, only those 2 pseudo-king rank Pokemons were left. For some reason, they would just not die. They had some sort of connection, which rapidly filled up their health.
Today Axel realized that Gengars were scary Pokemons. They had been battling for more than 12 hours and in full throttle but Agatha could not win against them. However, Axel could see that Agatha had the upper hand and she would definitely win.
Everyone was tending to their wounds now. The tide was basically over. The soldiers didn't have to fight the pseudo-champion rank Pokemons. That was the fight that none of them could interfere with. Not even Axel.
Axel still had that feeling that something bad was going to happen. He just could not tell what it was. He never liked those Gengars.
He trusted his instinct and told Hector.
"Hector, tell all of the soldiers to get ready. I feel that something bad is going to happen."
Hector followed the command to the T. Axel told Hector to not tell that command out loud. He didn't want those Gengars to listen to his command. So, Hector started to communicate those to commanders and lieutenants.

"Both of you know that you are not going to make it. I will tell you guys again. Run from here. You have already lost the battle. I would be happy to let one of you go alive.", said Agatha.
"You are right, we are going to die here. I never thought that you people could win this battle even with so many disadvantages. That kid is something. But you are wrong. If I am going to die I am taking all of you with me.", said the female Gengar.
"Are you sure?", asked the male Gengar.
The female Gengar nodded her head.
Agatha didn't know what was going to happen but she knew that it was something bad. Axel also saw and heard the conversation and out of instinct he called out Nidoking and Venusaur inside their balls.
All of his other Pokemons were very far from him. They were getting treated. So, he could not call any of them inside their balls.
"FEEL MY WRATH!!!"
"IMPODEUM!!!!"x2
Shouted both of the Gengars. After that 3 things happened.
The female Gengar immediately died.
After the female Gengar died, the power of male Gengar started to rapidly increase. It went from tier 1 pseudo-champion to tier 2, then tier 3, and then it automatically went to a state where it could be called as a champion rank Pokemons.
"What the fuck is that?", shouted Axel.
Then the male Gengar looked at its partner who had no life inside of it. It had a bit of sadness in its eyes. It then looked at Agatha and smiled. The smile had many emotions. The emotion of anger, sadness, vengeance, and the emotion of something evil.
It raised its hand in the air and said in a loud voice,
"VENOM CURSE!!!"
