Chapter 8: Truth or Dare Game
Noire: Look, it's chapter 8.
Fade: Nooooo! Make it 7! 8 is symmetrical!
Kid: Ahhh! Beautiful symmetry! How I missed you!
Noire: Crud....
Fade: Make it 7 now Noire!
Noire: I can't make it 7! 8 comes after 7 and that's how the world is! Just deal with it before the universe destroys itself because you tried to make chapter 8 chapter 7. Calm down.
Fade's p.o.v
"Oh my gosh! Your so mean Kid." The girl with the twin tails yelled.
"SO WHO WANTS TO BAKE SOME COOKIES?" I asked again as I panicked. Nobody is listening to me. Their to busy screaming at Kid. I just want some cookies. Noire came back downstairs and walked over to Kid.
"Kid? I was wondering if you could..." she glanced over at me, "um... Can I have another picture? It's scary by myself in my room, and I can't find... I want Teddy! I- I have had him since I was a baby! Do you know where he went Kid? I can't stand not being able to hug him! I- I'm gonna go take those pain killers before I die. Kid, pwease can I have another picture, or can you help me find Teddy? I'll forgive you if you help me out here. I don't wanna, but I will!"
"Hey calm down, I'm sure you left it up under your bed like usual or up under the covers."
"H-he isn't! I looked! He isn't in the top of my closet where I can't reach either! Please Kid!" He sighed and walked upstairs with Noire trailing behind him. THEY LEFT ME DOWN HERE ALONE WITH THSES GUYS THAT DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO ANYTHING BUT ASK QUESTIONS? Wait a minute, what's that on the counter next to the fridge. Well I found the teddy bear. I went over to it sitting it on top of my diary in my hands.
"Wait here guys." I walked upstairs and gave the teddy bear back to Noire as I headed to my room hiding my diary in my messy bed with tons of covers and pillows stacked asymmetrically. When I got back downstairs' Kid was screaming as he was on his knees. "What's wrong kid?"
"Three is only 7 eggs! seven eggs! why can't it be 8?"
"Chill. There is another carton of eggs idiot." He gasped and went to the fridge to look for the other carton of eggs. "So you guys started fixing the cookies without me?" I asked as I seen the mixing bowel out along with a spoon, pan, eggs, oil, and a measuring sup.
"YAHOO! We have Fade back in the room. Now we can start playing TRUTH OR DARE now." WHAT? I didn't agree to that.
"Who said that I would play?"
"Kid." They all started pointing figures towards him.
"Fine. I will play, but only if Noire does."
Noire's p.o.v
I got Teddy back! Yay! It wasn't Kid who found it either! I don't wanna forgive him because he found my Teddy for me! Ahhh! I can relax better now! Teddy! I started hugging him as I flopped on my bed "Ow!" Damn it! I winced. I should have thought about that first.... Oh well! Nothing can bother me when I have Teddy! Oh wait, things can still bother me. Teddy just makes me feel better which is why he is my best friend along with Fade!
I grabbed my pills, and I was about to take them when I heard people coming up the stairs. They're too noisy. Just ignore them. They'll get what they came for and go.
"Noire! You need to get up and come downstairs-"
"Is Santa here? Oh wait, it isn't Christmas... How about Lord Death? Is he home?"
"...NO IT'S SOMETHING EVEN BETTER. We want to play TTRUTH OR DARE with you, other wise I won't play and they will get mad at you."
"We can't have that, can we? Too bad I don't feel like coming out."
"Noire please? I will give you pain killer that don't make you sleepy." Things just got real. She's serious about it! Plus she sounds sad that I don't wanna play with her. Awwwww I can't take it! I jumped out of bed with my Teddy and opened the door.
"Only because you said please and you said you would give me non-sleepy pills."
"Yeah, their in my bedroom I-"
"HELL NO! GET THE HELL OUT OF HER ROOM OR FACE MY DAMN SCARY ASS WRATH!" I stormed over to her room and kicked the door in. "Get. Out. Of. My. Fade's. Room." I stared at each one of them saving Kid for last. When my eyes landed on him, I winced and fell over. "Damn it! I wanna protect Fade, but I can't even do something scary to get everyone out of her room without falling over!"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ALL DOING IN MY ROOM!" Fade yelled as she walked past me grabbing Kid's collar on his shirt then got a hold of Black Star's ear and pulled them out looking at Soul and pointed at the door and he threw his hands up in the air dropping one of her stuffed animals on her bed and walked out. "You girls may stay in here but this is a no boy's zone." She turned towards me with a smile. "Let me go get you those pills you asked for." She skipped off to her bathroom and came back with the bottle of pills handing them to me. "Here you go."
"Thanks Fade!" I smiled up at her and swallowed two of them. "Wait... which ones did you give me?"
"The ones that don't make you fall asleep, I'm not joking. I need you awake for the game."
"So you are saying that you would have given me the other ones if we weren't about to play this game?"
"No. Now let's go down to the kitchen and make those cookies while we play the game."
"Ok!" I stood up and left her room glaring at Kid as I walked past. Then I went downstairs and waited as everyone came down.
"Alright who starts us off first?" I asked.
"How about Kid since how he invited us over," Soul said.
"Ok." Kid looked around the group trying to find someone he wanted to ask.
"Fade, truth or dare?"
"T...D....UMMM. I can't decide this is a hard one...How about Dare?" He smirked at her.
"Dare huh? Alright, I dare you to," her face spelled out 'Oh-my-gosh-I-made-a-huge-mistake-help-me-i'm-gonna-die, "tell Black Star off." Seriously Kid. Was that the best you could do?
"DAMN BLACK STAR DON'T YOU KNOW THOSE PANTS ARE SO LAST YEAR? WHAT'S WITH YOUR HAIR IT'S BLUE, I'M GONNA START CALLING YOU SMIRF. SMIRFY BOY WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GET NEW CLOTHES? WHY DON'T YOU GET A JOB? YOU CAN GET MONEY TO HELP YOU BUY NEW CLOTHES AND AFFORD FANCIER FOOD SO THAT WHEN YOU GO ON A DATE YOU WON'T TAKE HER OUT TO GET SMOOTHIES AND FRIES. LET ME NOT EVEN START ON WHEN YOU STARTED MAKING FUN OF MY BOOBS. YOU KNOW WHAT AT LEAST I DON'T DRESS IN LAST SEASON'S CLOTHES. YOUR FACE IS A BIT RED DO YOU NEED A BUCKET OF WATER TO HELP COOL DOWN? YOU LOOK REALLY HOT SINCE YOUR SWEATING. OH NO DON'T YOU START RUNNING AWAY FROM ME SMIRF BOY! YOUR SUCH A BABY. COME BACK HERE SO I CAN FINSH THIS."
I was currently holding Kid down while she wrapped it up. "Calm down Kid. He's crying in a corner."
"He made fun of my sister!"
"She made fun of him back!"
"Your right. I must keep my composure. Fade, it's your turn to ask someone." He shot a death glare at Black Star then smiled sweetly at his sister. Quite an angel aren't you Kid?
"Oh ok. Soul, TRUTH OR DARE?"
"Dare because it's cool."
"I dare you to go upstairs and find Kid's diary then come back down here and read us a passage from it." I clutched Teddy who was still with me. Why is he down here anyways? I thought I left him in my room.... Oh well! Soul went upstairs and searched while Liz and Patti held down Kid. I'm not touching him again for a while. My dosage of touching him for the day is fulfilled.
"Got it!" Soul came downstairs with a white journal that had "Kid" in big gold letters on the front. So that's what it looks like. Thanks Soul! Now I know what to look for tonight!
"Don't do it Soul! Please!" Kid was crying his heart out. Hahaha you look so funny trying desperately to get to Soul and your diary! I wonder what it says....
"Calm down Kid. I have to because Fade dared me to!"
"Damn it Fade! Take it back!"
"No."
"Please! You don't want to know what's in it!"
"Yeah I do! Soul, start reading!"
"Alright, here goes: DEAR DIARY, today I snuck into Fade's room while she was sleeping and watched her. She seemed to behaving a nightmare and surprisingly started calling my name. Why the hell would she do that? I thought she liked Noire more then me. Well I laid down by her to calm her down and held her. She calmed down and curled up to me tighter then I ever had her do before when it happened when we were little. She seems to still like me. I should forgive her for hurting Mr. snuggles when we were little. Is it to late to start being the twin she needs? Maybe it is, I will just have to wait and see. I know! I have decided to take her diary and read it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I'll be back tonight , love you diary... DEATH THE KID."
"Holy shit! Not that one Soul! Why that one?!?" Kid was freaking out as Liz and Patti let him go. She wanted Kid over me.... I feel sad.... Everyone is staring at me.... It's like they are trying to read me.... Kid, why did you have to mention that she wanted you over me? Are you jealous of me or something? Put on a smile and pretend you never heard this! Quick! Before everyone pities me! Cry later.
"Awww! I knew that you loved Kid Fade! You talked about him in your sleep when you slept in my bed! I wanted to go get him, so he could calm you sometimes, but he was asleep. You are so cute you know! Oh my gosh! I just had a fantastic idea! Why don't you two hang out this weekend! Just the two of you! Some bonding time might do you some good!" And... Teddy! I'm rejected by the only person who means more to me than you. This is why I don't try to like people over you! You are number 1! Yay! Still sad.
I hugged Teddy tighter. Black Star had finally recovered from Fade yelling at him and came back. "I'm gonna be right back." I went upstairs and when I was out of sight of everyone, I collapsed on the floor and started crying. I hate you Kid! I hate you! You took my Fade away! I know! I'll destroy his room! No, not in front of these weird people. Get up and go back down there with something so it looks like you went to get something! Ummm.... What should I get? Ummmm.... I didn't think this through.... I never should have agreed to play. Ummm.... grab.... a book! Grab a book! I went into my room and grabbed a book to take downstairs with Teddy.
"Alright, I'm back!" I came downstairs and sat down with everyone... away from Kid and Fade.
"Ok, let's keep going!" Fade said cheerfully. Damn it! You are too cute, but I can't go over there.
"Alright, MAKA. TRUTH OR DARE?" He asked with an evil smirk.
"Truth!" She smiled back at him. Are they a couple? No, I don't know....
"Who do you like?"
"Like? What do you mean Soul?" She stared him in the eye.
"I think you know what I'm asking." A deep red blush developed on her face, and she looked at the floor. Ummm.... No, they aren't dating.
"Can I get a different question?"
"No."
"Ummm...." She bit her bottom lip and curled into a ball on the couch.
"Maka, tell."
"S...."
"S?"
"So-....S-So.... Do I have to?"
"That's the rules."
"Makaaaaa Chop!" She hit him with her book on his head.
"Owe! FINE! I change my question, Is it someone in this house?"
"Living here or visiting?"
"DOES IT MATTER!"
"I know what you mean Soul. Fine, yes. Someone I like is in this room! NOW DROP IT!" She blushed as she said it.
"Alright. Your turn Maka."
"Ummm.... Ok, Truth or Dare Tsubaki?"
"T-truth."
"Ok, why did you become Black Star's weapon? He's kind of...."
"He is a good person at heart, and he can be sweet! He isn't a doofus! I sensed that in him."
"Ok, your turn."
"Truth or dare Liz?"
"Dare." She smirked at Tsubaki.
"Do something terrible to Kid." Liz winked at Tsubaki and moved one side of the coffee table 10 inches to the right.
"Noooooo! Stop it Liz! Stop! Not another inch!" Liz made it 11 inches.
"There, now it's my turn." Kid fainted on the couch, and his head came to rest on Fade's shoulder. Hell no! I don't care if you fainted! I stood up and kicked him with all the strength I had.
"Keep your filthy self away from my meister! I don't care if you fainted!" I screamed at him! I dragged him into the kitchen and left him there. When I came back, everyone stared at me.
"Noire, I think you over reacted. Why don't you just sit down by me and relax. No more of those pills for you."
"No, I'm sitting on the other side of the room." I went and sat away from her.
"Is this about me talking in my sleep and saying his name? You know it didn't happen, uh...He made that up I swear."
"Teddy, you are the bestest bear anyone could have. You are the only one that understands me," I muttered to my teddy bear.
"Hey, we forgot about making the cookies everyone."
"I hate cookies now. They can become cannibals and eat each other." I hugged my teddy bear and stared at Fade.
"WELL THEN. UH, Maka. Right? Let's go make those cookies."
"I'm not eating any. Hahahahaha! Oh crud, I don't feel to good.... I touched Kid. Bleh."
"Noire! OH MY GOSH. KID WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY NOIRE!" She ran over to me.
"Fade.... I'm sorry.... I feel like throwing up now.... Shit. I made you sad didn't I? I can't believe I touched Kid...."
"Hey it's okay. I'm going to go take you upstairs to rest ok?"
"Can I have the pain killers that make me fall asleep? I am sooooo embarrassed right now. Sorry everyone! Ummmm.... I'm NOT jealous of that bastard in the kitchen...."
"Awe it's ok. We didn't think that."
"YES WE DID." Patti said.
"NOT HELPING PATTI."
"Before I go upstairs, Maka, Soul, are you two a couple? You would make an adorable one. If not, I can't believe you are that dense Soul. You totally didn't get what happened, did you?"
"What is she talking about Maka?" Soul asked facing Maka.
"NOTHING, I THINK I'LL GO MAKE THOSE COOKIES NOW." She ran towards the kitchen with Soul trailing after her asking a lot of questions.
"He really is stupid. Everyone else figured it out right? Or am I in a room of stupid people? Black Star, don't even think about lying to look smart."
"I'm not stupid. She likes me right? That's why she couldn't tell him anything, she likes his best friend. I think I will go break the bad new to him."
"I gotta see this!" I stood up and ran to the kitchen with Fade. He is reaaaally stupid. No, he's an imbecile. No, he has the brain of an ant. It's that tiny! No, that's giving him too much credit.
"Hey Soul! I got what Maka was trying to say!"
"Then tell me! I can't take it anymore, and she is as tightlipped as a person who can't say a word!" Maka was glaring at Black Star and was reaching for her book on the counter. She started blushing, and that symmetrical loving bastard woke up. Damn it Kid! Stay down!
"I hate to tell you this buddy, but she loves me! How could she not love the amazing Black Star? Soul, you really do impress me with how stupid you can be!" Ummmm, stop him somebody.
"I DON'T LOVE YOU! I LOVE SOUL! GO CRAWL INTO A HOLE AND DIE BLACK STAR!" She Maka Chopped him and then finally realized what she said. "Ummm.... I mean I like Soul as a partner! I just slipped up with what I said. Honest." Soul had his mouth hanging open, and his eyes were wide.
"M-Maka?" He shut his mouth and started blushing. "You c-could have just s-said so.... Wanna go on a date Friday night?" He was smirking at her, but it only made her mad.
"Maaaka Chop!" Soul fell to the floor knocked out.
"I think you hit him hard enough that he won't remember Maka. Now hit Kid for me will ya? He heard it." I ran off and up the stairs leaving Fade to deal with the mess that I partially caused.
Craaap. I left Teddy down there....
Fade's p.o.v.
So...this is getting interesting we don't even need TRUTH OR DARE to help. Maka looked at me then at Kid then back at me and I gave her thumbs up and she Maka chopped Kid as well. That's what he get's for writing about me. He held his head and Maka and I made ice packs for the three injured boys before starting making cookies. After we put them in the oven I went back into the living room to put on music and cut it up loud and started dancing to it nodding my head and Black Star joined me as we danced to some Bring me the horizon music. Eventually everyone else followed and Noire came down and started jumping and waving her hands in the air. The music is so loud it sounds like we are right in front of them as they sing and play on a stage.
After the cookies finished Maka and I pulled them out to cool on the counter. By now my mouth is watering. I WANT SOME SO BAD.
"I know what you are thinking Fade," Noire entered the kitchen, "Don't do it. You'll get fat, and Kid will kick your ass next time. Speaking of that, did you ask him for training yet?"
"Yeah, he agreed to it." I stuck a fork into a cookie and lifted it off of the pan and shoved it into my mouth anyways. I did it with the fork so my fingers wouldn't get burnt, but my mouth did!!!! sooooo good.
"He said what now? He agreed? Ok, I'll be right back. Kiiiiiid! Why?!? Damn you Kid! Damn it all! Why couldn't you have said no! You just wanna kick Fade's ass and mine!"
"No I don't I swear I just want to help you guys become better in a battle." OH LORD.
"I don't give a damn what you want! I don't want to have to spend more time with you! You are such a nut case when it comes to symmetry! You know what?!? I think your room needs remodeling! Fade! Come help me do it! I found his baseball bat!"
"But I'm eating cookies."
"COOKIES?" Kid ran in and took the fork from me and got a cookie for himself and ate it while his eyes watered from it being so hot...WHERE IS MY CAMERA?
"Thanks Fade! You are awesome! Now let Kid get fat! I'm gonna have fun today! Teddy! Come with me!" HUH? Where is my Noire going? I went into the living room.
"NOIRE? WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING?"
"It's happy hour in Kid's room."
"OH OK." I watched her go upstairs and went back to the kitchen grabbing a few cookies and put them on a plate as the others came into the kitchen I went into the living room listening to the music. Kid came in with is own plate and sat down on the love seat and soon others followed him in here. Tsubaki sat down with him on the love seat and I got an idea.
"Tsubaki would you like to hang out with Kid and I this weekend?" I asked as I grabbed a remote turning the music down so she could hear me better.
"HUH?"
"HANG OUT WITH ME?"
"SURE!" I nodded and went into the kitchen after grabbing a hold of Black Star.
"Your going to hang out with me this weekend, got it??" He gave me two thumbs up and then I took Tsubaki by the hand and lead her upstairs towards my bedroom and found Noire on the floor so we had to put her in bed before we carried on to my bedroom.
"What are we doing in here?" She asked tilting her head.
"I'm supposed to hang out with Kid this weekend but I want to hang out with Black Star. If I turn him down Kid will only follow me around like a creepy stalker so you might as well hang out with Black Star, Kid and me."
"So like a double date?"
"Yeah." She crossed her arms and looked down.
"Well, I guess we could."
"PLEASE I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO ASK NOIRE, LIZ OR PATTI TO BABYSIT HIM."
"OKAY." So the double date will happen?
