Chapter 44: suffering
and so as Osiris approached the center of the core room to check the current time dilation,he was shocked, perhaps a little too shocked.
he had just checked the time dilation and to his absolute surprise, it went from 1000 years equal 1 year to 1000 years equal 1 day, which has been a goal they were working towards since around 500 million years, not really believing what was going on he asked. "Hey, Pytha, Nox, how much was the time dilation when we last came here?"
"What do you mean, you were the most excited of us when we reached a 1000 years to 1, how could you forget?" asked Nox who looked at his brother as if he had too much to drink.
"come, come check for yourself, you'll know what i mean." said Osi.
meanwhile, in a different dimension, the guy responsible for that change, Ash was getting destroyed by lightning.
*Flashback*
Right when he finished breaking through the realm of gods in both magic and Qi, something happened, the sky above him started to get cloudy, and the claps of thunder filled the whole dimension, it was terrifying to say the least, with lightning crackling through the dark cloudy sky.
first, came a small lightning, hitting him, he first expected it not to hurt that much... it was small after all, it shouldn't hurt that much... right? WRONG! It hurt like hell, and without a time for break, another one came rushing down at him, then another, then another, and then another, and on the 7th, a large one, one atleast 7 times as big the rest came hurling down at him, by that time, he just wanted to die, he wished for ecstasy of death, but it was no where in sight.
after that big one, another small one came, and on the 7th, the same thing happened, you'd expect the process to repeat itself again but no, another big one came, and another, and another, and by that time, Ash could feel his bones cracking, and his skin burning to scorch, and again, like last time, on the 7th, the lightning got 7 times bigger, becoming now 49 times larger than the first ones to come down on him, and they hurt for 49 times more.
After that massive one decided to make his body its playground, Ash could feel himself going unconscious, but he wasn't allowed to.
[WARNING! WARNING! Detected that the host is near death, activating emergency protocols, sending in healing Qi in the dimension... Done, the dimension is filled with healing Qi, activating God King level spell : Reviving the Emperor, activated. other measures needed to sustains hosts life, searching... searching... measure detected, creating pond of life... failed... failed... big energy source needed... searching... searching... summoning tree of life "Yigdrassil" commencing... successful, using tree of life "Yigdrassil" as energy source for pond of life... successful, sending host into pond of life... succesfull]
and so, the system has insured he stayed alive, but conscious... no, he was unconscious, after that massive one(X49), after that, more big ones came(X7) and the 7th, another massive one came down (X49). after that, the sky calmed a bit, and you'd expect that be the end of it, and Ash was slowly regaining consciousness, but right after that calm, the sky became stormy again, very. and i mean very, stormy, the floating islands where being sent far far away, the bridges connecting them being sent flying away, the massive branches of the tree of life "Ygdrassil" were being swayed tothepoint you'd think they would break, but they didn't.
BOOOM!!!
Thunder clapped and immediately after that, a huge, very huge lightning came hurling down at Ash at light speed, it was bigger than any before it, a massive 196 times bigger than the first one to come, and it came again, and again, and again, one after the other, wrecking the place, evaporating some of the liquid in the pond, destroying branches off Yigdrasil. By the time the first bit of lightning hit Ash he was once again, immediately sent to unconsciousness.
and on the 86th lightning, it wasn't the usual X196 lightning anymore, no, no no, ohhhh no, it was something much, much, much more terrifying, something bigger than a small planet, it was a X1372 Lightning, lightning that was 6860 meters in width, and with it, Ash was basically just on the tip of dying, but thanks to everything the system has installed, from Yigdrasil to the pond of life, the healing Qi and the God king level healing spell, they all together, working with his body's super regeneration as a god, where the only reason he hadn't died.
And so, as time passed, Ash's body filled with broken bones and burnt tissue slowly healed, and he slowly gained consciousness, but the first thing on his mind was..

anywayz, explaining what happened with that tribulation,the first 7 where from breaking through from Qi king to Qi emperor, the next 7 where from.breaking through from magic sovereign to magus, the next 7, where they were X7 from the beginning and X49 on the seventh was the tribulation for breaking through from Qi emperor to Qi demigod, the next X7 then X49 came from breaking through from magus to Magic demigod, then the final tribulation, the one where he received 85 X192 and the final small-planet-destroyer-level X1372 lightning was from the tribulation of breaking through to magic God and Qi God at the same time, so basically what happened was that the 2 tribulations merged together, and came down at him 4 times stronger than they should have, and so, when someone breaks into magic god or Qi god alone, lightning will hit them X49 342 times, and once X343, but now you may be wondering, why 343 lightning hits, well 49 x 7 = 343, and now u may be wondering why Ash wasn't hit with 343 lightning strikes, well, since the lightning was 4 times stronger than it should have been, 343 ÷ 4 = 85.75, rounding it up, it will 86 lightning strikes... cool
