Chapter 2: Two. The Russian prometheus.

I was both excited and nervous as I stood there waiting at the airport.

It turned out to be hard to stand without feeling your body. Mister Ivanov said that anesthesia effect will continue until I got to the Paris, but he appeared wrong. My plane landed twenty minutes ago, I had already left it, but I still couldn't move without crutches and wheezing.

So I decided to take the elevator down. Having nothing to do, I started thinking about any advantage in that situation and foud myself happy not to feel the itchy tingling fur coat. When Galya gave it to me, I tryed to refuse, but we had nothing else to hide Youra's legs, which mister Ivanov had sewed the worst way. Even werse than Katya's eye.

A sharp bell made me flinch. Huge iron plates parted and I stepped in spacious shining room.

When my father came from town, he told me about elevators, but in my imagination they looked like coffin.

I started turning my head, watching perfectly smooth walls. And suddenly a disgusting scareing monster looked at me from the wall. I screamed and ran to the opposite wall. And realised that creature did the same. I looked more attentively and recognized Galya's fur coat. There was no doubt — that monster was me.

I slid down the wall crying and crowing about missed beauty. I was bitting the floor.

But after a very short time I remembered about my friends. And my promise. I have to show them everything. There was only one ticket to Paris we could afford and mister Ivanov came with generous idea about picking me up to journey. He even kindly helped us to do it, because only he knew how to sew. I am responsible, because I got the lot.

I got up and started showing amazing elevator to my friends.

I was licking sour iron with Gleb's tongue, touching cold walls with Glasha's fingers, jumping on Youra's legs, inhale strange salty smell by Masha's noise.

Doors opened and I got out of the elevator with smile on Kira's lips, ran to the exit and stopped first step in the Paris... but Youra's foot didn't reach the ground. I died.
