"Hmm? Did I say something wrong?" Desmond wondered, his brow furrowing in puzzlement.

However, his confusion swiftly transformed into a more serious demeanor as the cacophony of screams from the Guild building grew louder. Scanning the crowd, he noticed the envious glances and familiar stares akin to those he had received when descending from the Guild's top floor. Yet, his attention was abruptly diverted by a notification that appeared, blocking his view.

Too many potential culprits, this will be challenging for me to handle.

"Annie, Laura, keep moving, but avoid going straight to our house," Desmond instructed his maids, his voice laced with urgency.

Laura appeared perplexed. "But young master, isn't our house—"

Desmond interrupted her swiftly. "Just follow my orders!"
