Chapter 10: Princess Rebecca
The Duke approached us with his powerful black horse at full speed. Drops of sweat were covering his forehead and his eyes color was a little red, but not enough to be noticed. I knew he felt uncomfortable, my thirst and desire were also transferred to him.
"Lucia!"
I already hear you, but I can't go down or they will kill me or even better, I will eat them.
"Your… Your Highness!"
Princess Rebecca and the other knights of Crotia bowed their heads. Who would not be stunned to see the notorious Duke in that place? I bet the most surprised ones were the slowly retracting mercenaries.
"Your Highness, we were trying to save that little child from that demon, please help us." Princess Rebecca walked towards the Duke with her infatuated face but defiant eyes. The kind of eyes any man would fall for. "Your Highness, please, she is a monster."
What a joke! Me? a monster? You were the ones trying to kill him, at most I just wanted a little bit of blood. Wait, why is that Duke looking at me with those eyes? Is that anger?
"Hmph, I am not a monster, nor I wanted to kill any child. Princess, I was just looking from above your unsuccessful attempt to kill a dragon that just escaped."
"You are the dragon, the steps on the floor, and your red eyes are the proofs."
"My red eyes? what red eyes?"
"Those… wait. You had red eyes I didn't imagine that, and the fangs, you had fangs a moment ago."
"Princess, I am just a normal person. This little kid ran away from me and came to see this bloody slaughter. He fainted in my arms. I was only taking him back."

"That's not true!" She took her longbow and pointed at me. "Transform, you monster, show us your true form!"
"Stop!" The Duke's voice startled the soldiers. It was an overwhelming shout with power and pressure. The Princess was so stunned that she had no choice but to lower her bow immediately.

"Lucia, come down right now!"
He is furious, should I obey? He will lock me up again. I should run now that I am free, but what about Irina?Then I can escape first from here. He won't be able to catch me if I go as fast as I can, then I will take Irina and run away…

I came down with a quick jump with the little child still sleeping in my arms. I landed graciously and fixed my hair a bit, but that little move was too much for the knights. They were inspecting me with lustful eyes, I could feel their hearts beating faster and their blood racing at high speed. Gosh! Their quick breath and piercing eyes filled with desire bothered me a lot. I felt more like prey rather than the predator, and I am the Great Predator. Damnit again!
"Who is this child?" the angry voice of the Duke woke up everyone from the stupor. He was talking to me, but his piercing eyes were poking holes in the faces of the men around us. I could feel a rising ire from his heart.
"My child." I hugged the little dragon child to my bosom. "He is mine." I had to use my great weapon to convince the Duke to let me keep him. I fluttered my charming eyelashes twice.
"Lies!" Again, that voice, why doesn't she just stop talking? Didn't she see my attempt to seduce the Duke? Goodness, I was making it, he was blushing.
I was getting really mad right now. The sunlight was starting to bother me, and I felt weak, how I wished to taste fresh blood, just a drop will do. Should I taste the little Princess, just to make her shut up?
I began licking my mouth again and some shadows were approaching the knights and the woman from behind.
"Lucia!"
"What?!"
"Stop it right now or I will lock you up."
"You dare!"
He took my waist from behind and shove me onto the horse. I had to use my body to protect the little boy from falling.
"Your Highness! You have to kill that monster, or she would turn into a dragon!"
I am not a monster, but maybe I will start a killing spree.
"Yes, Your Highness!" Her loyal soldiers were finally helping their mistress. Ha… Irina, where are you?
"She will not harm me." His voice was calm and not as indifferent as his usual voice. So, this is the heroine halo? Does he behave differently in front of her?
"Then… Then, let us escort you on your way, we have encountered lots of mercenaries and robbers lurking around the forest, we may need your help, many of our men have been killed and we are the only ones left." Did she change her mind just like that? This man is using his handsomeness to hypnotize her, isn't he?
The group of mercenaries had long gone. The knights took notice but they didn't say a word as they were not prepared for another battle.
"Alright. Follow me!"
"Thank you, Your Highness!" Princess Rebecca was beaming with joy, but the moment she looked at me was as if I was a disgusting monster.
"Princess, please stop looking at me that way, I am not going to eat you."
My mocking smile made her furious and her face became as red as a tomato. Heh…
Then I felt the Duke mounting the horse behind me and pulling away. The last thing I saw was the jealous Princess's face, what a sight to see.
However, no a few minutes after, I had trouble breathing. I needed blood with urgency. I had used my powers under the sun and the smell from the child's blood was still lingering in my mind. I couldn't drink any from the start and the sun was at its highest point right now.
The Dukes kept whispering in my ear, but it was difficult to focus. "Hang on, Lucia."
"I can't, I need to drink… I need to…"
My eyes were moist and red, and I felt weakness in my arms. I had to focus all my energy on carrying the little child and not fainting. The Duke had wrapped his cape on my shoulders and put the hood on me as the sun was hitting us directly. Then with a rapid movement, the horse went faster to reach the carriage and our people. However, my dizziness was dominating me.
"Drink my blood."
"What?"
"Drink!"
He showed me his strong wrist while we were still far from the others. I had no choice. I pushed my little mouth into his rough skin and licked slowly with my tongue leaving a trace of saliva. I could not see his face, but his body tensed up, I felt it very much behind me. This pervert!
Then I bite him trying to not cause him so much pain, but his blood was so good and nutritious, with just a bit I could feel several times healthier. I even left a purple mark on his pale skin.
"Thanks!"
I turned around and smiled while licking my mouth. I shouldn't have done that. His face was blushing to his ears and his eyes were filled with undisguised desire… I felt my cheeks burning.
He was slowing down letting the Princess and her knights reach us. But his hand made way slowly towards my waist under the cape. He was grabbing me hard letting me feel his hot skin and I couldn't move because of the little kid in my arms. Suddenly, his hand reached my chest. This damn pervert! I am going to kill him. But the feeling behind me was the most disturbing.
