Chapter 55: The Aftermath

I woke up feeling light-headed as fuck. I could not understand why my head, aches so much when I only drank wine for damn sake. Why am I sporting such a fvcking hangover?

Groaning, I gingerly sat up while trying not to cringe from the pain, but then I suddenly got so dizzy and the urge to vomit was strong. I literally stumbled from my bed and doubled over the bathroom sink. Like I was calling every saint out there.

I counted to ten to gather my wits back as I took deep breaths. This is not normal anymore. An idea had sprung at the back of my mind, poking my consciousness. I stared at the mirror after I was done washing my face, waking myself up.

'It's possible, it's definitely possible.' I chanted to myself.

I showered in due time and went out of the room. My eyes caught sight of Eris who was staring blankly at the ceiling, unmoving.
